About time, right? FROM Software got me again, and managed to make another stellar game with addictive combat. "Metal Won't Burn" attempts to Capture Armored Core 6's bleak and emotionless world, and reflects on a loss of humanity after being rebuilt so many times.

@@Zigthrill Gundam. I can't recall any AC that's specced up to take down a Gundam. Even the Realmecha Gundams are still working with higher tech, especially those with Gundanium/Gundarium armor. The RX-78 might have a tough time, but that's the grandpa of Gundams. If we get into the Supermecha Gundams there's no point to even holding the contest. God Gundam solos the ACverse.
@@Kayriel Problem with such comparisons is the groundrules of the world you take anything from. Its the same as insane comparisons between characters of different universes. Though if you would put the two in the same universe, doesnt matter which things get interresting. Say You position gundams in the AC universe against an AC. The Gundam has no real chance. They would have normal armor, normal weapons, would be way slower based on the way they are constructed. If you put both in the Gundam Universe and put the same tech into an armored core then it would depend on the Pilot i guess. The AC yould be way swifter and extremely more mobile while it would take a lot less hits to be destroyed. The gundam is not as agile as an AC but would be way tougher so like i said, depends on the pilots skills.
Given what Armoured Cores do to Arms Forts, they'd make short work of Titans!

I understand the economic market is rough, so I don't begrudge you your decision to wait for a sale, but if any game this year deserves full price it is Armoured Core. When you get it, you'll enjoy the heck out of it.

@@najlitarvan921 Key sites like the ones which multiple developers have said they'd prefer you to pirate their games than buy from? Because... be careful which key sites you shop at. Most of them are scum enabling even worse scum and effectively operate as money laundering tools for credit card fraudsters more than game stores. Depending how the devs handle the problem, either the devs get burned, or the devs and the customers get burned.

It is criminal that AC6 was only nominated for Best Action, and it probably won't win over High Fi Rush. Thank you for doing this wonderful game justice Aviators. I adored the song as always, and I can't wait to see what you do next!

To be fair, High Fi Rush is also a very good game, just not the same kind as Amored Core
Because they nerfed melee attacks. Without dual-wielding I can't even play it like I've played every other AC game. So I'm waiting until mods for dual wielding comes out.
Game Awards are self-fellating parties for those who pay for the privilege to be there, no better than the tainted, inbred den of fartsniffers at the Academy Awards, Golden Globes, etc. To be ignored. Not even worth the energy to hate.

I love how this songs builds on the video, with all the slow bits showing how depressing the world is and when the chorus hits shows 621 fighting and doing jobs. Really sounds like this was the song that 621 sings while on rest and the chorus is when he has to be Walter’s hound

Your music is my inspiration for many of the things I have created. You give me drive through your music. I was stalled on writing a D&D session based in a cyberpunk setting using some of the armored core concepts in my campaign when, out of left field you released this song. as soon as I heard it, I got the inspiration I needed to finish writing the session. And this isn't the only time you have given me the inspiration I needed. I learned how to use blender while listening to "code breaker" and "signed on for a sequel" because I had an image in my head I needed to get out. I always look forward to your music and look forward to what the future will hold.

Damn. The lyrical cover of Sealed Vessel by Man on the Internet feels tragic. Gut-wrenching even.
But this. This just feels so bleak. I don't know the story behind it, but it just feels like there isn't any anger. There isn't any hope. There isn't anything. Just a broken acceptance of circumstance from someone who either is too tired to fight it anymore or never knew to fight it in the first place. The melancholy and emptiness are so powerful.

Welcome to the "dying world" genre. Pretty much every FromSoft game, really.
In a sense 621 or "Raven" is one of the few who get a choice to chill out in a sort.of happy end so to speak. So not all.bleak? Still bleak though.

This has been a song I have waited for so long to get a music video and damn is this paying off! I haven't finished the video, but I have been listening to the song on Spotify and it was an absolute banger - both as a song and as a tribute to one of my favourite games of the year! It truly captures what AC6 presents to the player, and Aviators knows how to recreate the ambience and tonality of the FromSoft games and turn it into song. With so many other great games from this year, some of which I still have yet to play like Lies of P, having songs tributing to these fantastic forms of media is what makes me so happy! Aviators is a person who can write some absolute fantastic songs which can be amazing standalone whilst also dedicated to a chosen game franchise
2:53 to the end of the bridge is the best part of the song, and the music video for that sequence did not disappoint! A damn good closing song to one of your best albums yet.
A somber song for a badass and somber game. Keep up the amazing work. Playing this while playing Armored Core 6 gives me such a Adrenaline rush. Thats all that can be said
I love this song, one of my favorites on the album, it makes me sad, but uplifts me at the same time, and even though it was last minute, i still love it, the atmosphere is just so perfect, keep making wonderful music Avi, I have loved seeing how much you have grown as a musician over the years, this album is probably one of my favorites.
Metal may not burn but this song is pure fire burning away the doubt. Amazing song, truly fitting for our Ravens new and old.
The sequence of lines starting with "I am flesh no more" ("So we all burn what came before", "For what the future has in store") all rhyme with armored core, and it would fit in that sequence. Whether intentional or not, the fact that it isn't said makes it feel even more present.
