It's a great qawalli for Hindi filmi songs. I was hearing this song in Binaca geet mala, in I think, 1959. This song was at that time on 1st rank binaca geet mala ka paydan par geet tha. Sometimes, it was not being full song in Binaca geet mala, sometimes second stanze was played in those days. I like this qawalli. I sing this qawalli, but the last stanza, which is sung by Rafi sahab, it was difficult to note down the words, but now karaoke system, this song can be sung. Thanks a lot.

Mohd. Rafi had a most lovely tonal quality (besides being quite adept in technicality) & his voice suited the heroes of the 60-s very well.
I think these kinds of subjective comparisions have no place in the domain of music lovers.
