Yeah, especially when they played a very calm part for a long time in the song, and then breaks out with crazy melodic solos , the contrast makes it stand out really epic, give you chills :D

I have always loved this band, but I recently got in to them even more after I found this channel and started to follow it. I also ordered one of my dream guitars which arrived yesterday which I did not even know was one of my dream guitars before finding this channel 2 months ago so yeah! I 100% agree with everything you wrote.

When I saw them on this tour, the álbum had been released two days before the show, no one knew what they where playing. What a mess. Anyway, a day to remember for life.
Wish I could have seen that! I had the same experience on the AMOLAD tour in 2006. Album was only just released and of course they were playing the whole thing from start to finish. I loved it but I saw a lot of confused faces 😅
Dont know what country or what planet you live in but where I'm from, this song and album were out in 1984 but never toured the album till 85...
Check tour dates from that tour and you'll see how wrong you are.

this is by far my favorite maiden song, the amount of love i have for this track is undescribable, i remember my brother showing this to me as a 7 year old. i didn’t really understand how amazing and brutally complex this song is and now as a 16 year old i get it and have learned to appreciate it as their most amazing track

Thank you so much! The sounds are all from Bias FX 2. It's a very versatile plugin that makes it quite easy to dial in some good sound. But a big part of hitting those tones involves little subtleties in how you play. Even with a basic crunch sound, you can work on copying the exact phrasing and tonal inflections! I might do a tutorial on that kind of thing at some point. ☺️

@@krzysztofszafranski615 I got the Elite version just because it gives you more presets and more amps and cabs to choose from. I find it worth the extra money especially if you play different styles or you like to experiment with different sounds.
What kind of Bridge and neck nut has you strat?
It's actually stock. This is a 1999-2000 model Deluxe Fat Strat which came with a Mini Floyd Rose bridge and an LSR roller nut. Very good tuning stability and with the locking tuners changing strings is super quick!

I LOVE Rush but I am not very well versed in Alex's playing style. I've started looking into it a bit more recently so I don't exclude doing something from them in the future but for now, I'd rather stick to what I have studied in depth (Maiden) so that I can bring more real value to my viewers.
