I was thinking the same thing the other day! Nico is by far the best Maiden guitar artist out there with unparalleled knowledge of the music. Would love for him to be able to play with Raphael and Hyottoko.
The three gentlemen's guitar solos in this track are fucking legendary. I love how grandiose and epic they feel. So great. Amazing cover!

I was just thinking the other day that we need more videos from the Dance of Death album:). Love the fact that with each guitar you change on the video we can hear more of what each player is doing, which one can not always hear/appreciate. Great job as always!

First Maiden song I ever heard and a solo I can proudly say I can now play... but that Janick solo further solidifies that he is defientley NOT a sloppy or bad player!!

Janick can be sloppy (especially live) but so can Angus Young and he's rock royalty. I really like his style a lot 😊

@@LicksOfTheBeast I think it's also one of the few times I can remember him using the bar other than during live end-of-song dive-bombs. Great playing as usual! I love this song and listen to this record a lot. Face in the Sand right after it is another favorite. Possibly one of the "angriest" Maiden songs.

You’re welcome. You are great and have this song down. I always find Janek’s solos a bit tricky but I slowly get them when I play it one part at a time like you said. Also learning 22 Acacia Avenue. Wonderful job playing that one as well. Love all your videos and I think that if Maiden ever needed another guitarist then you are it my friend.

Excellent job! The way you played everything sounds just like it should. I think my favorite parts to this song are the intro/outro with the tapping and the bass moving underneath. I also like Adrian's solo. That is just fire on this song. Then again, honestly all the solos in this song are fire! And you nailed them for sure! Definitely one of the better songs from Iron Maiden during the 2000s in my opinion.

What a great song Paschendale is, and what a fantastic cover this is Nico. Watching you play those three solos note for note but with your own bit of style and flair, reminds me just how good Adrian, Dave and Janick are.

I think the original Maiden album goes wildly overlooked. Some of the most beautiful guitar work they ever did was on that album. My favorite being the 1st solo in the song "Drifter." A beautifully orchestrated solo. If you've ever covered it, please point me to where I can watch it. Thanks.
