Good video - thanks man! Question for you. I have a used TaoTao 125D (I think - used). On the vehicle i measure the stock shocks at 280mm (11”). These ones you show are a little longer, think that’s a problem? Thanks!
hey bud, was researching these shocks and came across yer vid. thanks for upload! on the rear width; is there an offset to those rear rims? we used to flip them around and put them on other side on our old honda 3-wheelers as kids to get more rear width.
I'd say its MAYBE 1 inch offset. Reversing them would make it way worse lol. The rear wheel spacers made a huge difference in driveability...its well worth the price
Could you send me a parts list for all upgrades you have done. My daughter has an apollo blazer 7 125cc. I just ordered the same front shocks for hers because this is the second front right shock she has blown out. had to order a new set of exhaust bolts and gasket as well because her whole exhaust fell off while riding the other day. Good job on your videos btw.

Your videos have been a huge help for me! My son has a appolo blazer 9 and needs upgraded suspension, the way the plastics are mounted there are brackets that look like they will be in the way of the air canister of the front shocks. Do you know if I can mount them with the air canister towards the inside of the quad instead of the outside? Again your videos are very informative and are made well!
Absolutely, you can mount them however you'd like. Each quad has alight differences, sometimes this happens.

hey question! I have an apollo commander 125cc its also a chinease atv which u may know, will these upgrades fit on my atv also? I heard mine was a honda clone but i wasnt too sure which one so I could upgrade it.
Yes, most of the same parts will swap onto yours as well!
I was thinking about using these on my yamaha rhino what's your thoughts.
So long as you buy the spacers with the proper lug pattern, you should be fine.

Got these after watching the video and it's still stiff as hell. Are there different weight settings? If so what was your weight setting?
My son weighs 53lbs. Try adjusting them up or down some, or letting some air out of them.

The reason to drop one tooth in the front and go up a tooth on the rear, is for more low end torque.

Hi Keith, I live in the UK and when I look for the front shocks they say rear motorcycle suspension. Does rear motorcycle suspension fit on the front of an ATV like this?

Search for "honda trx 250 front shocks" on Ebay or amazon. But yes, the rear shocks could fit. They are a diffrent length but they bolt in.

What do you think about the shocks now? I’ve got those on my quad, and altough they work, they are really just trash. Doesn’t dampen any at all. Any bump feels like a hard rock and it tries to throw me off. Also, the reservoir is fake. You can chop it right off
There’s a video that shows the reservoir is legit.. don’t shit on a product because you broke it

very important question, I have a 125cc apollo commander, yesterday I was riding it around and all of a sudden I hear a loud like clanking noise and the quad jumped it came somewhere from near the chain and the sprocket but ive looked it up everywhere and I cannot seem to find the issue. I was going to replace the chain and sprocket but I wasnt too sure if it would even help. If you have heard of this issue in the chinease quads please lmk! I just bought it a month ago :(
it happens everytime I drive it in drive, its an automatic so the gears r only reverse drive & neutral so I wasnt shifting when it happened. When I just push it in neutral though nothing happens its very odd.

This particular quad had longer shocks in front. 320mm in front. 280mm in back. I recommend measuring yours first before buying. Sometimes the models have slightly different sizes

Yes, the reservoir is just air anyways

They came stock on the quad. You can find them online though, on tao tao parts website I believe!
I have a question u think these shocks will be good on a raptor 700?
Probably better to go with a more popular brand on a more expensive atv. The whole approach with these were to save $ on big upgrades, maintaining the low cost of the atv.
Find someone on Craigslist selling stock YFZ shocks - the best choice for you.......

@@NeoStorm_401 any 12.5 inch at shocks will work from eBay. Pick the ones you like best. These atvs larger than 50 cc are exact clones of honda 250 ex chassis . So, any 250ex front shocks will work. Ebay has plenty search for "270mm shocks " or "12.5 inch shocks". We have more videos coming soon, kids have been busy lately!
Bro don't take this the wrong way trust me I noe it's expensive to play the sport quad game but in stead of trying to tern a power wheels Chinese trash can in to a trail bike is gonna be mour than just buying a nice lil Honda 300 ex our ltz 250. I've had this at for 4 years now. Its literally never given me a single issue, in fact out performs his cousin's Honda 90 that breaks all the time. Not to mention, this ATV cost $600, a Honda 90 costs 5x that...a 300 lol...no thanks, hes 80 pounds. The whole point of the series is KNOWING that many buy these, and making some worth while upgrades. The same ole same (what youre mentioning) had been done 1million times over. So,don't take this the wrong way, but no thanks...
