In this video, I go over the most common mistakes producers make with their bass. We will be focusing on some of the more tedious ones that we tend to forget, like short midi notes, effects on the bass, lack of saturation on the bass, lack of layers, and more...

Thank you for being one of the most consistent and down to earth teacher out there
Proper Spin Spin Sugar vibes from that last bassline!
Been producing for a few years now, I started as a noob learning a lot from your vids in the beginning, years later, your vids are still helpful. Thanks for sharing the knowledge!👌🏼
You have a much better info to time ratio than most other people I've seen teaching similar topics. And it's all relevant...no bs. Subscribed.
right in the moment when i needed these advices! Great video
Thanks man!
Zen always coming in with a great vid!
This is priceless. Thank you Zen.
Great video. Thank you.
if you ctrl+G the device it makes the rack without having to insert it manually
Great tips, thank you Zen
Thank you
Great video ❤️
Been getting back into producing after a couple year hiatus and your videos have got me back up to speed and learning more than I have in a long time. Keep up the great work
Same same but different... Thanks Zen World - great work and very helpful!
Thanks a lot ❤
Nice tips bro! Many times the problems hide in the most "simple things"...
Big up for the new style of video. ❤
Much appreciated 🙏🙏
My pleasure
Saturation is good also for notes that don't have much bass like C, D, G, A....to add warmth and a sensation of more bass
Zen Inkin!! Great video buddy
Dudeee I was just watching your old video where you teach how to layer basses, and you were using sylenth haha - this video tied in really well with that one
It is all about the input and what you want and sounds good to the output fore everyone 😅 Nice info Zen.
great video bro
your kicks mostly have the perfect length in 128 so that is easy but I know I still suck at bass 😆 but yeah working on it. Watched Martin Ikin's class on fader pro. he barely is using anything on bass. that is Analog power I guess and his style. thank you for another useful tutorial Zen brother. 🤘
bro your the best haha you make learning fun and i love your sense of humor xD
Dude haha I’ve seen your stuff on audio effect racks and they never really clicked but suddenly I realized their glory and now I’m itching to use them
i get a good feeling yeah
thank god you exist !
Nice video
Que grande el Fran, gracias papa por toda la info siempre. Cuando sale el track del final del video?
Topo chico!!
That glas of OJ was so dangerously close to falling of the table it’s not even real
11:52 I almost had a heart attack

"nonalcoholic waveform"....lmao!
5:26 parallel channel, less cpu, cut out the bottom, color the top
always helpful with the tutorials beep beeeeppppp
🤩best
what does the oversampling in eq 8 do?
Topo Chico 🏆
Unfortunately I couldn't see any difference in your example with the Decapitator (from Soundtoys). Because you coughed a little when you switched over, so the pre and post masking effect made it impossible for me to make a real comparison. You're certainly right with your workflow. But then I have to do a real comparison myself. But thanks for your tip!
Can anybody please help me on how to make basslines like that found in (Little Helper 341-1 by Ohmme) or (Urbanism by Nacho Scoppa). I cant seem to get pitch bend to get the bassline im looking for.
Simenga Donk Kick!
Thanks Bro, So Great, You are a master!
