My testimony: After being an atheist for 8+ years, and "married" to another female, I got the urge one day to say out loud "IF there is an Almighty God that does NOT wish us pain or sorrow, please bring me truth, I wish to know you exist". Then God immediately started bringing me the answers I had been searching 8-11 YEARS for! I witnessed Him take control of my internet and the rest of my reality; He first proved to me that demons exist (I called them "inter-dimensional beings"), then He proved His own existence, which I later found to be Jesus Christ. As soon as I found Jesus at the end of 2020, He IMMEDIATELY took away my transgenderism, bisexuality, depression, daily suicide attempts, self harm, bulimia and anorexia; and He did this all without me asking Him to, because THAT'S how merciful and loving He is! He did a great job pulling in a generation during Covid. Many souls were saved. As time went on many people got to a point where they no longer needed the coloring book version and wanted the “meat”.
Although people were led to be saved, rather led away from this teaching, do to this heretical teaching, it doesn't make it true or right. A "baby Christian" under this kind of teaching will not make it in. They're not getting anything they actually need to spiritually grow, Or to be saved, or to maintain salvation. This kind of teaching isn't for anyone, baby Christian or mature Christians. Paul put things in simpler forms for those new to Christ but he never entertained or put on shows because this is life or death.
@Hephzibahh my thoughts exactly. I hope for his sake he got saved himself. His lifestyle and preaching scream prosperity preacher. Being able to quote scripture and giving a motivational speech, does not mean you are a preacher or a child of God. The devil knows scripture too.
I used to love watching him preach. He was one of the ones I consumed weekly. And then one day I woke up and couldn’t stand his sermons anymore. The Holy Spirit within me was so so grieved anytime I tried to watch his sermons. Now, a couple years later, I can see exactly why I was becoming so grieved.
It's kind of confusing for me. I really can't find anything wrong with what Todd is saying in his sermons. Message seems pretty accurate. I tried not to be critical of the props and such because I like to avoid having a control spirit and thinking that things can only be done in one traditional manner. But even when I was trying to keep an open mind, certain things bothered me a bit. The Easter play started me to becoming skeptical of him.
The more I read my Bible and spent time with God the more I realized that what he was preaching was not ALL of God, only bits and pieces. If sermons constantly cause you to become comfortable in your sin rather than convict and correct that’s wrong. As the shepherd of his sheep he should be teaching them to live Holy and put God first. With him I see a lot of “self” first and that’s a trick from the devil.
Same, we attended TC for about a year and a half. The theatrics kept growing more and more and he taught the Word less and less. It's sad that he's leading so many astray.
Same thing happened for me. I use to enjoy his teaching at the start of my journey. Then he wasn’t even recommended anymore on my CZcams and I never felt the urge to go look for him

Same... like her, I started watching Transformation Chruch right before, during & about a year after Covid. The crazy faith series was powerful & the reason I watched weekly. The Holy Spirit was pulling me to find a local church. In a sermon, he looked in the camera & said "you need to be in a local church" in THAT moment the Lord spoke to me through him...a few weeks later I found & joined my current church. No theatrics... the word is being taught & I've grown so much!
I agree. I was tuning in during the crazy faith series and way before then (relationship goals). There was an anointing that was tangible but ever since the whole Easter thing last year, it just seemed to go downhill. Praying for him.
Y'all look at the culture of America in 2024, these people don't know God nor Trust Him because of the wolves in sheep's clothing and these people playing like God asked them to play judge. I agree with you Nick! I was listening to Mike Todd when I was very early in my walk I wasn’t even living right at that time but I listened to him everyday on the way to work. Definitely “milk” but I appreciated the way he taught because when I finally started reading the Bible I could recall how he broke stories down in the Bible and so reading it made sense. As I grew in the word I searched for the anointed Word stumbled upon Stephen Darby which convicted me heavily and then started being more serious about my walk with Christ. Praise God 👏🏽
Sometimes it takes the biggest fall from grace that causes them to repent. Then even that doesn’t stop them from going back to the same lifestyle as before. Lord help him find the true reason for Scripture and the Holy Spirit to reach others for sake of the Father. Amen.
When you listen to a strong pastor and leader like my favorite, Dr. Charles Stanley, and then a Mike Todd, it’s just incomparable. I need the Word of God with clear direction of implementation in my life, plain and simple, nothing more, nothing less.

I heard hurt and pain when he said that statement with the air quotes. Whether he’s teaching a doctrine of devils or not he is most likely under a delusion, believing he’s right. He needs prayer and I hope God shows him what he may be doing outside of Gods will. Because I’ve been lost before and it was awful. Went into yet another church this morning and the preacher was go on about dating, marriage and sexual purity and he topped his lecture off with, "don't think you have to marry that guy just because you had a baby"... Went to another church where the pastor was teaching that 1 Cor 7:36 was about a father having authority over "his virgin daughter's body"... Oh that one didn't go over well at all for me... But the Deacon I talked to about it blew me off. Another one separates the men from the women... And another one I attended for several months and thought was going to work until they told me I had to fill out an application to volunteer and the criteria was that I had to believe in the pre-trib rapture... Not the Trinity, not virgin birth, not Jesus resurrection... Nope, I couldn't volunteer because the pastor didn't want me to "confuse the children". I told the man he turned the "House of the Lord" into his personal "church". I am not having much luck in this new city.

And when I was seeking a home church (in Manhattan or the Bronx), it was hard to choose because several seemed to come up to standard. There was one however where, from the pulpit, the Person of the Holy Spirit was referred to as "it." I didn't choose that one. May the Lord encourage, embolden, and enable you not to give up and to faithfully keep your standards high! I know what it's like to be "between churches." You have a longing for in-person bible-based sermons and for fellowship with other parishioners. I hope and pray that you will find a more than suitable home church for yourself, and maybe your family too.
I've pastured a church for 17 years . Honestly, one of the greatest things I had to grow in was when ppl left the church. Many of you are not pastors and do not understand how difficult it is when you have poured so much into ppl. I had to grow in to being able to handle it better, and so does Mike Todd. When you are talking about staff/leaders in your church, there is nothing wrong with asking them to be honest why they are leaving. Especially when he said that they go afterward with Instagram post. God told them to make IG post about it, but you could not sit with me as fam and be honest. The word of God tells us not to lie to one another, be truthful and honest. Members expect all of that from their pastors but not from themselves. Then, they expect their pastor to handle it all perfectly. I agree with you that using all those props is not preaching the word with power. But listen members need to be just as stand up, honest and truthful about leaving as they expect their pastor to be. If a pastor would put someone out of the church like Paul did without explanation y'all would blow a fuse. If a pastor stood up one Sunday and said I'm closing the church without explanation after you all gave and sowed your time energy and money into building it... y'all would blow a fuse. I always question why some Pastors, such as Mike Todd, who claim to know the Word of God and teach it equates “fruit” to material or financial gain. The Bible teaches us what “Fruit” God is talking about. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23 KJV
He could be actually using the bag & fruit to describe spiritual fruits as well as possessions. That aspect of the sermon covers both meanings. For a true Believer, they can discern the deeper meaning of that interpretation & for a "baby believer" they can begin to understand their walk with Christ. It reaches both or all in different ways. It is up to us to have our own walk with Christ. In this insane world today, to reach everyone the same is impossible. Two things can be the same at once. He isn't hurting anyone. People who know better, can do better & everyone starts somewhere. The fact that it isnt pushing more negativity within itself is a good sign, period. Once someone's "spiritual walk" grows they move on to higher teachings. THAT is proof of the channel we are on & indicative of the true meaning & message of Christ. It's what makes sense. Our world isn't full of scholars, esp religious ones- so reach people where they are at! We can't fault the messenger. If a person's true mission is to find TMH, they will. 🙌🏽 OneLuv y'all, just my perspective. 🙏🏽

Jerry Flowers is also a younger pastor that uses s lot of metaphors and illustrations to bring his messages to life. But when i listen to him, not only do i understand and remember, there is NO grating of my spirit, no red flags. I never ask the question " was this all for show?"

I found Mike Todd back during the pandemic in a dark place in my life and a past relationship. That’s when relationship goals series came out. It helped me hold on to a toxic situation until I realized it was time to let it go. It helped me get myself together in my singleness and my relationship with God. However, the more I started studying the Bible and attending my physical church, I started getting irritated by the elevation of his theatrics, then I started feeling convicted when it came to listening to him. I cannot remember the last sermon of his I listened too, but I realized he wasn’t theologically sound and his teachings were very self serving like new age. So now I don’t follow him on anything and I haven’t looked at that church in years. I also hated how he always mocked the Christians that were trying to live their lives based on theology of the Bible and not just the feel good part of it.
This is all a distraction from God & God's word. Even if the message was 100% based in scripture & truth ... we miss it because apparently Mike Todd needs attention more than God. Literally. So any fruitful message is lost.

I was once under deception when I was in the world and it wasn't until God showed me my faults and I had my turn around moment to leave behind the materialistic and seek out the eternal. I pray for Mike Todd and his congregation for a re-alignment season and if Mike Todd truly fears the Lord, he would know that he has a stricter judgement over his life than the congregation he's leading astray. Lord grant them repentance and opportunity to turn away from this deception and turn towards the way, the truth and the life; Jesus Christ the overseer of our souls.

I remember when he first came out. One of the first sermons I saw was about David. This brother was so on fire, and straight biblical.Then he began to be invited to different shows, megachurches, and platforms.... and here we are today. I pray the zeal, humility, and thirst for the Lord return to him. There is quite a difference in then and now. This reminds me of the world. We ask the Lord for microwave meals. However, we all know that a slow cooked meal on Saturday to be ate on Sunday just hits better. So, the question is did he desire the fame over the Lord? I don't know because I don't know him, but I can say it's an obvious change.
So, I am sitting here. The cutting of the hair is not even symbolic to what he is preaching on. Cutting produces hurt, but you're getting faded up? He is not getting cut like Mister by Celie on "The Color Purple". My goodness gracious.
What I got from him saying, in a sarcastic manner, that his former staff member left because "God lead them somewhere else" just screams that he thinks he knows better than God...and that is a massive problem

I agree with the girlie who used to listen to him. I started listening to him in 2018 right before Relationship Goals blew him up & it was good, sometimes great but the 🚩🚩🚩🚩 started to poor in. The Easter sermon did it for me THEN I gave him another half of a chance & it was “Fun Month” when he doesn’t even speak because he’s goes on vacation. The next series after that was on money..I haven’t listened since.
Now I understand why whoever ran from the church ran and quickly. Don't look back. Just keep running for your salvation. Glory are always to God. Don't make the body of Christ fall into temptation but fill them with the word of God. Pray for those who leave and rejoice if they come back. Don't make the Church about you, it's about the body of Christ. We are all part of the body of Christ, it's never about you.
I pray that Pastor Todd will allow God to prune him so that he throws away anything that is not the will of God for his life including if necessary, stepping aside from pastoring a church if God hasn't called him. However, if God wants Mike Todd to continue serve in ministry I hope and pray that he will serve in a way that will bring glory to God ❤
I listened to most of the message and his illustration made no sense. He just matched up cut in scripture with “hair” cut. A hair cut shouldn’t hurt and if it does it’s because the person doing it was unqualified or you wouldn’t sit still. God’s cutting and pruning us does hurt because He’s pruning the flesh, things that shouldn’t be there, and expanding us. A hair cut is a treat meant to make us look good. Being cut by God isn’t a treat, the spa, and seldom comfortable. He’s also revealing he doesn’t know what bearing fruit is. Fruit isn’t solely measured by outward success. Any Old Testament prophet is proof of that. His illustration just made it seem more like he’s pressed for time and really needed a hair cut so he worked it into the message.

I didn’t get a Godly message. I too thought he needed to be somewhere after church and needed the haircut asap. His sermon, in my opinion, was nonsense.
Mike can’t believe God told someone to leave Transformation Church, but I bet he has no problem believing if God told them to go to Transformation Church.
God will start drawing people away from churches or pastors who stop preaching the Bible or no longer bring out the energy they once had that’s the faithfulness of the preaching
This pastor Mike message actually blessed me and God spoke to me through it. His style isn’t for everybody and that’s okay. But WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE. He preaches the word , and it actually blesses people. Jesus used ALOT of metaphors and that was HIS WAY. Let God express himself in the way He wants to. That’s one of the reasons God uses different people. All fruits don’t look and taste the same and all fruits aren’t liked by everyone. Doesn’t stop them from being FROM GOD
Mr Nick, I genuinely think you should focus on YOUR LIFE AND YOUR JOURNEY WITH GOD and stop making your CZcams about judging people living out their calling.
The thing is, no one is above judgement as believers. We are told to righteously judge. To help our brother and sisters, hold them accountable (in love). The message that Pastor Todd gave, being fruitless, is a good one. However, it’s apparent of his ego. The theatrics of the message negate the message in of itself. Not to mention some theology issues that come up. Like when he was mentioning LGBTQ community and stating he doesn’t know why “people are born gay? Or attracted to same sex.” He should know the answer, the answer is sin. I could write more, however, I don’t want to derail. I watched Transformation Church during Covid. I started with Relationship Goals and then Crazy Faith. It gave me community when I truly needed it. However, after Crazy Faith. Things just kept coming up. The antics went up, the attention moved from God to Todd. Understand, that God can use ANYONE to get HIS message across. Be blessed ❤
I wholeheartedly agree, his style is not for everyone but souls are being saved. God is still using him so I don’t understand the judgement. They make this about him when we should be receiving the message. I’ve never thought or felt like he was making a mockery of God, I feel like he teaches visually so that people who don’t understand can. In regards to him “shading” one of his staff members, y’all don’t know their relationship so y’all don’t know why he said it that way. If he ain’t for you than that’s what it is but if souls are still being saved then clearly he’s still for God & that’s all that matters.

God has also warned us about people like Mike and the rest. He needs to be out in the world and not in the church. Not one word of the Bible was focused. He needs counselling and go back to Bible school.

I used to watch him religiously and then-this happened….he mentioned in a sermon that he is a number 8 on the enneagram chart-WHAT???? The enneagram is diabolical and made by some teacher years ago. I am praying for conviction of the Holy Spirit for this man!
I had a dream twice last year, it was a short encounter. I heard a voice "I'm coming soon," " Tell them I'm coming soon." The devil knows his time is up, stay focus on the word of God...don't be deceived. JESUS IS COMING SOON..He told me to warn people.

You don’t need to give an explanation period. Last year I worked as an Assistant Production Directorate a pretty big church in Atlanta and eventually I just felt like it was time for me to go. Ofc they made attempts to talk bad about my name, however I felt like I couldn’t be there anymore.. couple months later I was struggling with getting a new job that paid as well and My mom kept telling me to just trust in God.. long story short, I’m not working in data networking (something I studied in college) make more in a week I made in 2 at the church. When God says it’s time to go, ITS TIME . No matter if you have a plan or not.
Charles Stanley. Great man. Though he passed away. I listened to his preaching since young. Let the spirit guide you. Ask the father and he will grant it. I was always lead away from false teachers. Didn't understand what it was that kept me away till the father let me know. Always remember let it be his works and his words. Not my own.
We as believers have to pray for people like him. I use to love him and his sermons but after sometime I realized something was off. I pray that he returns back to the root of what exactly God has called him to do. We can’t allow the facade of “being in the spotlight” to overshadow the glory that God is due. We are the vessels for His will and He should ALWAYS get the glory.

I have come to the conclusion that mega-church “ceo’s” have no accountability to shepherd the flock as the books of Acts talks about. No accountability-no expectations-no disappointments…except that Michael Tod will be in the presence of ALMIGHTY GOD and will be judged for not being obedient of shepherding the flock!

The "milk" is good for now but as we mature we will need more sustenance to continue to grow in our relationship with God! I have been a Christian for years and now LOVE to get into deep studies on the Bible and learn more than what I would consider surface level. There is always more we can learn from the word! It is living and active!

Theatrics, exactly! I kinda get mad when I see someone with a gift of teaching lose humility. They become self-indulgent and try drawing the spotlight from God, and don't seem to realize it?
@@amyc.peters1064It's kind of like the "frog and the booking pot" analogy. Maybe a couple demonstrations, then it becomes theatrics. I got upset when he poured syrup and whip cream on the Bible. I was embarrassed and felt guilty(even though I read my Bible I felt like I should read it more).
If your child’s middle school teacher was so passionate and enthusiastic about your child’s learning that they used real life examples to illustrate concepts, principals and ideologies, would you protest their tactics and question their teacher certification? He may not be your cup of tea, but he’s somebodies that’s being exposed to Christ’s teachings. Pray for the “unity of the faith” that brings us all into a love for others that come from a pure heart.
I’m so torn about him. He was the first pastor I listened to after being saved, nothing online or Christian led me to be saved it was the world and what o read in the Bible as teen about these times. But I found him, and I shared his ‘Things You Love That Don’t Love You Back’ sermon SO MANY TIMES. It helped me bring people with me to a local church and it’s been an incredible journey. But I also understand whats being said here. I go back to his channel here and there to listen, but I think he’s definitely for a younger crowd, a generation a lot of us can’t relate to, and I pray God irons him out for the youth or shows him a different way to spread the Word.
I’m not even gonna lie that whole spit on brother still haunts me up to this day. Before then I’d been treading lightly around his sermons and then the floodgates of spits opened n i was like no thank you sir.
As a believer who has followed this man’s teachings in my down time, in addition to attending my own home church, I’ve found that not only does he hear from God, but his obedience to share the way he shares goes back to what the body needs to project…Transformation and Transparency. The latter is where offense rests on people and they always tend to point fingers at the way someone is doing a thing. You don’t know how God is teaching and instructing him to preach His Gospel. The God I know is not in a box, and He speaks to us according to how He uniquely designed us for His work on this earth. Instead of selectively picking snippets, go on about your way and have a nice day and stop judging him on what you think he should be doing or saying when it comes to the calling that God has for him. He has one for you too, and if people would stop riding other people with opinions, they could see what God has for their own life and produce their own fruit that God desires for JUST YOU.
@@Easyreel It’s just the Real Truth of the matter. People will form their own opinions about others without outside help. And it’s up to those people to be led by the Spirit (if they allow Him) to follow Pastor Todd’s teachings or someone else. Pastors are one of many vessels used by God to teach His Gospel. And there are countless others who are obedient to God’s instructions as well. It just baffles me that people’s mindsets are the way they are. But His Word talks about this very thing. People gotta decide what they’re really gonna do for their lives.

We all tend to forget the biggest biggest win when it comes to serving God: 1. When you are under the authority of the Lord, you don't have to explain yourself 2. And ambassador of the Lord has no opinion, he just carries out his assignment * Preach the word of God, and only the word off God
Last fall, God gave me sight into the church that I was attending and not all churches are being ran by God‘s people. My eyes were opened to what really was going on spiritually in that church, and he let me know to get out they may say they’re biblically sound, but the enemy knows how to twist words And deceive.
Once I got back into my faith I would watch him and others like him, but there was a sermon I heard from a pastor out in Atlanta named Pastor Johnson, he had a great warning and was to Watch out for those who make their throne taller and bigger than Gods! Watching preachers who stand for over an hour preaching the word not sitting down, drinking , not worried about hurting “feelings”! But quoting the Bible from pure memory. Challenging their church, etc…no gimmicks! As the world gets weaker our sermons, our leaders need to be STRONGER!!
It saddens my heart how people continue to take clips from this beautiful hearted young man's sermon's just to try to bash him and speak ill of everything that he does, what's even more sad is the fact that no one ever point out all the loving things that he has done like bless families with homes, money, cars, things for their children, he has paid bills such as school loans, car notes, morgages, hospital bills etc....many pastors abuse the word love by only speaking about it but never actually show it by expressing that love to needs of the members they pastor, then here is a young man who shows so much love and care to strangers all over the world by sharing his wealth to bless others, and all these people do is try to tarnish his reputation and attempts to be who God has called him to be! And what's worst is that its mostly the people who look like him...typical ungodly crabs in a bucket...this young man has done nothing more then try to be an example of what young and godly looks like, by loving God, loving his wife and children, striving to be physically fit and healthy, building wealth and taking care of his family, he is wise and he preaches the Word of God! But of course the world hated Jesus and the world will hate God's children as well, but no weapon formed against him or his family wiĺl prosper, he will continue to be blessed and the more people hate the more God will continue to elevate him!🥰🙏🏾💯💛💪🏾
My grand daughters showed Mike Todd video to me and the video I watched was good. So I started listening to his "sermons".....You have to understand I was brought up in the teaching of Christ from a kid on up. My Mother was saved and she taught me to. So, if you come to me with anything other than God's Holy Word, try to change it in any way....I know. After the 3rd sermon I was concerned. And I talked to my grand daughter about it. We have to be so careful. You cannot put a "Pastor" on a pedestal, cause you end up praising him and not "God". He is human just like we are, and can err just like we can. Be careful young people who desire to seek out our Savior Jesus Christ. I have found another Pastor who is in his 40's and this young man has no theatrics, he comes from the Word of God, period! I pray for his protection, for his family and church members. It's called "2819 Church"! Pastor Phillip Michael Mitchell. You won't be disappointed. God bless you all!
My testimony: After being an atheist for 8+ years, and "married" to another female, I got the urge one day to say out loud "IF there is an Almighty God that does NOT wish us pain or sorrow, please bring me truth, I wish to know you exist". Then God immediately started bringing me the answers I had been searching 8-11 YEARS for! He did a great job pulling in a generation during Covid. Many souls were saved. As time went on many people got to a point where they no longer needed the coloring book version and wanted the “meat”.

Although people were led to be saved, rather led away from this teaching, do to this heretical teaching, it doesn't make it true or right. A "baby Christian" under this kind of teaching will not make it in. They're not getting anything they actually need to spiritually grow, Or to be saved, or to maintain salvation. This kind of teaching isn't for anyone, baby Christian or mature Christians. Paul put things in simpler forms for those new to Christ but he never entertained or put on shows because this is life or death.
@Hephzibahh my thoughts exactly. I hope for his sake he got saved himself. His lifestyle and preaching scream prosperity preacher. Being able to quote scripture and giving a motivational speech, does not mean you are a preacher or a child of God. The devil knows scripture too.
I used to love watching him preach. He was one of the ones I consumed weekly. And then one day I woke up and couldn’t stand his sermons anymore. The Holy Spirit within me was so so grieved anytime I tried to watch his sermons. Now, a couple years later, I can see exactly why I was becoming so grieved.
It's kind of confusing for me. I really can't find anything wrong with what Todd is saying in his sermons. Message seems pretty accurate. I tried not to be critical of the props and such because I like to avoid having a control spirit and thinking that things can only be done in one traditional manner. But even when I was trying to keep an open mind, certain things bothered me a bit. The Easter play started me to becoming skeptical of him.
The more I read my Bible and spent time with God the more I realized that what he was preaching was not ALL of God, only bits and pieces. If sermons constantly cause you to become comfortable in your sin rather than convict and correct that’s wrong. As the shepherd of his sheep he should be teaching them to live Holy and put God first. With him I see a lot of “self” first and that’s a trick from the devil.

Same... like her, I started watching Transformation Chruch right before, during & about a year after Covid. The crazy faith series was powerful & the reason I watched weekly. The Holy Spirit was pulling me to find a local church. In a sermon, he looked in the camera & said "you need to be in a local church" in THAT moment the Lord spoke to me through him...a few weeks later I found & joined my current church. No theatrics... the word is being taught & I've grown so much!
I agree. I was tuning in during the crazy faith series and way before then (relationship goals). There was an anointing that was tangible but ever since the whole Easter thing last year, it just seemed to go downhill. Praying for him.

I agree with you Nick! I was listening to Mike Todd when I was very early in my walk I wasn’t even living right at that time but I listened to him everyday on the way to work. Definitely “milk” but I appreciated the way he taught because when I finally started reading the Bible I could recall how he broke stories down in the Bible and so reading it made sense. As I grew in the word I searched for the anointed Word stumbled upon Stephen Darby which convicted me heavily and then started being more serious about my walk with Christ. Praise God 👏🏽

Went to another church where the pastor was teaching that 1 Cor 7:36 was about a father having authority over "his virgin daughter's body"... Oh that one didn't go over well at all for me... But the Deacon I talked to about it blew me off.

And another one I attended for several months and thought was going to work until they told me I had to fill out an application to volunteer and the criteria was that I had to believe in the pre-trib rapture... Not the Trinity, not virgin birth, not Jesus resurrection... Nope, I couldn't volunteer because the pastor didn't want me to "confuse the children".

And when I was seeking a home church (in Manhattan or the Bronx), it was hard to choose because several seemed to come up to standard. There was one however where, from the pulpit, the Person of the Holy Spirit was referred to as "it." I didn't choose that one. May the Lord encourage, embolden, and enable you not to give up and to faithfully keep your standards high! I know what it's like to be "between churches." You have a longing for in-person bible-based sermons and for fellowship with other parishioners. I hope and pray that you will find a more than suitable home church for yourself, and maybe your family too.

I've pastured a church for 17 years . Honestly, one of the greatest things I had to grow in was when ppl left the church. Many of you are not pastors and do not understand how difficult it is when you have poured so much into ppl. I had to grow in to being able to handle it better, and so does Mike Todd.
When you are talking about staff/leaders in your church, there is nothing wrong with asking them to be honest why they are leaving. Especially when he said that they go afterward with Instagram post. God told them to make IG post about it, but you could not sit with me as fam and be honest. The word of God tells us not to lie to one another, be truthful and honest.
Members expect all of that from their pastors but not from themselves. Then, they expect their pastor to handle it all perfectly.
I agree with you that using all those props is not preaching the word with power. But listen members need to be just as stand up, honest and truthful about leaving as they expect their pastor to be. If a pastor would put someone out of the church like Paul did without explanation y'all would blow a fuse. I always question why some Pastors, such as Mike Todd, who claim to know the Word of God and teach it equates “fruit” to material or financial gain. The Bible teaches us what “Fruit” God is talking about.

He could be actually using the bag & fruit to describe spiritual fruits as well as possessions. That aspect of the sermon covers both meanings. For a true Believer, they can discern the deeper meaning of that interpretation & for a "baby believer" they can begin to understand their walk with Christ. It reaches both or all in different ways. It is up to us to have our own walk with Christ. In this insane world today, to reach everyone the same is impossible. Two things can be the same at once. He isn't hurting anyone. People who know better, can do better & everyone starts somewhere. The fact that it isnt pushing more negativity within itself is a good sign, period. Once someone's "spiritual walk" grows they move on to higher teachings. THAT is proof of the channel we are on & indicative of the true meaning & message of Christ. It's what makes sense. Our world isn't full of scholars, esp religious ones- so reach people where they are at! We can't fault the messenger. If a person's true mission is to find TMH, they will. 🙌🏽 OneLuv y'all, just my perspective. 🙏🏽

Jerry Flowers is also a younger pastor that uses s lot of metaphors and illustrations to bring his messages to life. But when i listen to him, not only do i understand and remember, there is NO grating of my spirit, no red flags. I never ask the question " was this all for show?"

It seems like I can feel when a Minister has spent time with God. No matter what their preaching or teaching style. I believe Pastor Flowers is the real deal.
I found Mike Todd back during the pandemic in a dark place in my life and a past relationship. That’s when relationship goals series came out. It helped me hold on to a toxic situation until I realized it was time to let it go. It helped me get myself together in my singleness and my relationship with God. However, the more I started studying the Bible and attending my physical church, I started getting irritated by the elevation of his theatrics, then I started feeling convicted when it came to listening to him. I cannot remember the last sermon of his I listened too, but I realized he wasn’t theologically sound and his teachings were very self serving like new age. So now I don’t follow him on anything and I haven’t looked at that church in years. I also hated how he always mocked the Christians that were trying to live their lives based on theology of the Bible and not just the feel good part of it.
If only people could FEAR GOD they would never dream of playing in the house and the Lord

I remember when he first came out. One of the first sermons I saw was about David. This brother was so on fire, and straight biblical.Then he began to be invited to different shows, megachurches, and platforms.... and here we are today. I pray the zeal, humility, and thirst for the Lord return to him. There is quite a difference in then and now.
This reminds me of the world. We ask the Lord for microwave meals. However, we all know that a slow cooked meal on Saturday to be ate on Sunday just hits better. So, the question is did he desire the fame over the Lord? I don't know because I don't know him, but I can say it's an obvious change.
So, I am sitting here. The cutting of the hair is not even symbolic to what he is preaching on. Cutting produces hurt, but you're getting faded up? He is not getting cut like Mister by Celie on "The Color Purple". My goodness gracious.

What I got from him saying, in a sarcastic manner, that his former staff member left because "God lead them somewhere else" just screams that he thinks he knows better than God...and that is a massive problem

I heard hurt and pain when he said that. Whether he’s teaching a doctrine of devils or not he is most likely under a delusion, believing he’s right. He needs prayer and I hope God shows him what he may be doing outside of Gods will. Because I’ve been lost before and it was awful. Plus the confusion I was under was only removed by the grace of God. Praise God, his mercy endures forever. Hallelujah!!!! God bless!

I agree with the girlie who used to listen to him. I started listening to him in 2018 right before Relationship Goals blew him up & it was good, sometimes great but the 🚩🚩🚩🚩 started to poor in. The Easter sermon did it for me THEN I gave him another half of a chance & it was “Fun Month” when he doesn’t even speak because he’s goes on vacation. The next series after that was on money..I haven’t listened since.
Now I understand why whoever ran from the church ran and quickly. Don't look back. Just keep running for your salvation. Glory are always to God. Don't make the body of Christ fall into temptation but fill them with the word of God. Pray for those who leave and rejoice if they come back. Don't make the Church about you, it's about the body of Christ. We are all part of the body of Christ, it's never about you.

I pray that Pastor Todd will allow God to prune him so that he throws away anything that is not the will of God for his life including if necessary, stepping aside from pastoring a church if God hasn't called him. However, if God wants Mike Todd to continue serve in ministry I hope and pray that he will serve in a way that will bring glory to God ❤

I listened to most of the message and his illustration made no sense. He just matched up cut in scripture with “hair” cut. A hair cut shouldn’t hurt and if it does it’s because the person doing it was unqualified or you wouldn’t sit still. God’s cutting and pruning us does hurt because He’s pruning the flesh, things that shouldn’t be there, and expanding us. A hair cut is a treat meant to make us look good. Being cut by God isn’t a treat, the spa, and seldom comfortable. He’s also revealing he doesn’t know what bearing fruit is. Fruit isn’t solely measured by outward success. Any Old Testament prophet is proof of that. His illustration just made it seem more like he’s pressed for time and really needed a hair cut so he worked it into the message.

He could be actually using the bag & fruit to describe spiritual fruits as well as possessions. That aspect of the sermon covers both meanings. For a true Believer, they can discern the deeper meaning of that interpretation & for a "baby believer" they can begin to understand their walk with Christ. It reaches both or all in different ways. It is up to us to have our own walk with Christ. In this insane world today, to reach everyone the same is impossible. Two things can be the same at once. He isn't hurting anyone. People who know better, can do better & everyone starts somewhere. The fact that it isnt pushing more negativity within itself is a good sign, period. Once someone's "spiritual walk" grows they move on to higher teachings. THAT is proof of the channel we are on & indicative of the true meaning & message of Christ. It's what makes sense. Our world isn't full of scholars, esp religious ones- so reach people where they are at! We can't fault the messenger. This pastor Mike message actually blessed me and God spoke to me through it. His style isn’t for everybody and that’s okay. But WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE. He preaches the word , and it actually blesses people. Jesus used ALOT of metaphors and that was HIS WAY. Let God express himself in the way He wants to. That’s one of the reasons God uses different people. All fruits don’t look and taste the same and all fruits aren’t liked by everyone. Doesn’t stop them from being FROM GOD

The thing is, no one is above judgement as believers. We are told to righteously judge. To help our brother and sisters, hold them accountable (in love).
The message that Pastor Todd gave, being fruitless, is a good one. However, it’s apparent of his ego. The theatrics of the message negate the message in of itself. Not to mention some theology issues that come up. Like when he was mentioning LGBTQ community and stating he doesn’t know why “people are born gay? Or attracted to same sex.” He should know the answer, the answer is sin. I could write more, however, I don’t want to derail.
I watched Transformation Church during Covid. I started with Relationship Goals and then Crazy Faith. It gave me community when I truly needed it. However, after Crazy Faith. Things just kept coming up. The antics went up, the attention moved from God to Todd.
Understand, that God can use ANYONE to get HIS message across.

I wholeheartedly agree, his style is not for everyone but souls are being saved. God is still using him so I don’t understand the judgement. They make this about him when we should be receiving the message. I’ve never thought or felt like he was making a mockery of God, I feel like he teaches visually so that people who don’t understand can. In regards to him “shading” one of his staff members, y’all don’t know their relationship so y’all don’t know why he said it that way. If he ain’t for you than that’s what it is but if souls are still being saved then clearly he’s still for God & that’s all that matters.

You don’t need to give an explanation period. Last year I worked as an Assistant Production Directorate a pretty big church in Atlanta and eventually I just felt like it was time for me to go. Ofc they made attempts to talk bad about my name, however I felt like I couldn’t be there anymore.. couple months later I was struggling with getting a new job that paid as well and My mom kept telling me to just trust in God.. long story short, I’m not working in data networking (something I studied in college) make more in a week I made in 2 at the church. When God says it’s time to go, ITS TIME . No matter if you have a plan or not.

We as believers have to pray for people like him. I use to love him and his sermons but after sometime I realized something was off. I pray that he returns back to the root of what exactly God has called him to do. We can’t allow the facade of “being in the spotlight” to overshadow the glory that God is due. We are the vessels for His will and He should ALWAYS get the glory.

NEW SUBSCRIBER HERE! Just found you yesterday! I agree, preachers like Mike Todd are good for young Christians who are still babes in Christ. The "milk" is good for now but as we mature we will need more sustenance to continue to grow in our relationship with God! I have been a Christian for years and now LOVE to get into deep studies on the Bible and learn more than what I would consider surface level. There is always more we can learn from the word! It is living and active!

I feel you about being led away from TC. I watched faithfully from 2021-2023 but a shift occurred and God led me to deeper teaching.
If your child’s middle school teacher was so passionate and enthusiastic about your child’s learning that they used real life examples to illustrate concepts, principals and ideologies, would you protest their tactics and question their teacher certification? He may not be your cup of tea, but he’s somebodies that’s being exposed to Christ’s teachings. Pray for the “unity of the faith” that brings us all into a love for others that come from a pure heart.

I’m so torn about him. He was the first pastor I listened to after being saved, nothing online or Christian led me to be saved it was the world and what o read in the Bible as teen about these times. But I found him, and I shared his ‘Things You Love That Don’t Love You Back’ sermon SO MANY TIMES. It helped me bring people with me to a local church and it’s been an incredible journey. But I also understand whats being said here. I go back to his channel here and there to listen, but I think he’s definitely for a younger crowd, a generation a lot of us can’t relate to, and I pray God irons him out for the youth or shows him a different way to spread the Word.

As a believer who has followed this man’s teachings in my down time, in addition to attending my own home church, I’ve found that not only does he hear from God, but his obedience to share the way he shares goes back to what the body needs to project…Transformation and Transparency. The latter is where offense rests on people and they always tend to point fingers at the way someone is doing a thing. You don’t know how God is teaching and instructing him to preach His Gospel. The God I know is not in a box, and He speaks to us according to how He uniquely designed us for His work on this earth. Instead of selectively picking snippets, go on about your way and have a nice day and stop judging him on what you think he should be doing or saying when it comes to the calling that God has for him. He has one for you too, and if people would stop riding other people with opinions, they could see what God has for their own life and produce their own fruit that God desires for JUST YOU.

@@Easyreel It’s just the Real Truth of the matter. People will form their own opinions about others without outside help. And it’s up to those people to be led by the Spirit (if they allow Him) to follow Pastor Todd’s teachings or someone else. Pastors are one of many vessels used by God to teach His Gospel. And there are countless others who are obedient to God’s instructions as well. It just baffles me that people’s mindsets are the way they are. But His Word talks about this very thing. People gotta decide what they’re really gonna do for their lives.

Last fall, God gave me sight into the church that I was attending and not all churches are being ran by God‘s people. My eyes were opened to what really was going on spiritually in that church, and he let me know to get out they may say they’re biblically sound, but the enemy knows how to twist words And deceive.

Once I got back into my faith I would watch him and others like him, but there was a sermon I heard from a pastor out in Atlanta named Pastor Johnson, he had a great warning and was to Watch out for those who make their throne taller and bigger than Gods! Watching preachers who stand for over an hour preaching the word not sitting down, drinking , not worried about hurting “feelings”!
But quoting the Bible from pure memory. Challenging their church, etc…no gimmicks! As the world gets weaker our sermons, our leaders need to be STRONGER!!

It saddens my heart how people continue to take clips from this beautiful hearted young man's sermon's just to try to bash him and speak ill of everything that he does, what's even more sad is the fact that no one ever point out all the loving things that he has done like bless families with homes, money, cars, things for their children, he has paid bills such as school loans, car notes, morgages, hospital bills etc....many pastors abuse the word love by only speaking about it but never actually show it by expressing that love to needs of the members they pastor, then here is a young man who shows so much love and care to strangers all over the world by sharing his wealth to bless others, and all these people do is try to tarnish his reputation and attempts to be who God has called him to be! And what's worst is that its mostly the people who look like him...typical ungodly crabs in a bucket...this young man has done nothing more then try to be an example of what young and godly looks like, by loving God, loving his wife and children, striving to be physically fit and healthy, building wealth and taking care of his family, he is wise and he preaches the Word of God! But of course the world hated Jesus and the world will hate God's children as well, but no weapon formed against him or his family wiĺl prosper, he will continue to be blessed and the more people hate the more God will continue to elevate him!🥰🙏🏾💯💛💪🏾
My grand daughters showed Mike Todd video to me and the video I watched was good. So I started listening to his "sermons".....You have to understand I was brought up in the teaching of Christ from a kid on up. My Mother was saved and she taught me to. So, if you come to me with anything other than God's Holy Word, try to change it in any way....I know. After the 3rd sermon I was concerned. And I talked to my grand daughter about it. We have to be so careful. You cannot put a "Pastor" on a pedestal, cause you end up praising him and not "God". He is human just like we are, and can err just like we can. Be careful young people who desire to seek out our Savior Jesus Christ. I have found another Pastor who is in his 40's and this young man has no theatrics, he comes from the Word of God, period! I pray for his protection, for his family and church members. It's called "2819 Church"! Pastor Phillip Michael Mitchell. You won't be disappointed. God bless you all!
