My brother got into an accident last week and was being kept alive by machines and couldn't wake up. I prayed for God to wake him up but a few days later he died. I know that my faith is being tested in these hard times but whatever comes my way it'll never ruin my relationship with God and I'll never stop praying and talking with God. 2 days ago, I prayed that God would keep me awake during my shift at work. I didn't specify how I wanted to be kept awake. Soooooo, several residence, who normally sleep through the night, kept pressing their call buttons for help. Before I could take a proper breath to sit down, my 8 hour shift was over. 😂

Same with me. We had a long drive home from vacation and I was struggling to stay awake. I kept praying for the Lord to help me stay awake and make it home safe. A little while later I heard this awful scraping sound coming from the (rental)van and had to pull over. Turns out The splash guard had fell down and was scraping the road. We had to call the rental company and they told us how to fix it and not to worry about being charged. After that I was wide awake & we made it back home safe.🙌🏽

An immature Christian without a solid foundation may think following Christ is all answered prayers. By Kanye’s logic he turned from sin, got saved and was worshipping God. Yet his marriage fell apart, he had public battles over his children, his business ventures got pulled etc. Those are just the things we know about who knows what he struggled with privately. Sounds like no one told him to expect warfare or what it means to have a relationship with Christ, to seek God and not His hand.
When I heard he was hanging out with Marilyn Mansfield and seeing pics of his new wife semi naked in public I knew he had fallen away.
I think there’s a real battle for his soul and he needs our prayers, true deliverance and mental health support.

let’s not jump to conclusions! My dear family!.. body of Christ. not everybody has the same christian walk struggle that everyone else does. If any of us have felt like God didn’t show up, while think its okay to keep a certain sin, we should be able to relate to what Kanye is going through. He went through a massive public spectacle that he put himself through because he didn’t follow God’s laws. Maybe God did not deliver him the way he wanted to be delivered but what he doesn’t realize is that God continues to allow Kanye to be successful, Kanye didn’t make it all alone, God allows it. God also allows everyone to fall in willful disobedience, that he might bring us to repentance. Just because he’s struggling to understand the way that God works, doesn’t mean that he was never truly embodied with the Holy Spirit.

I believe that he’s going through a process just like everybody else in their walk with Christ. The problem I believe with Kanye that he has less of a community to guide him through it and he has an insane amount of spiritual warfare against him. I could just imagine the witchcraft that came against him. No matter what we need to continue to pray for him.
Prayer is literally how we talk to God, fam. If you don't want to pray, you don't want to commune with him. Prayer isn't just for receiving blessings. It's how we turn to him for strength to endure and truly grow.

I feel Jesus was testing his faith and when it got difficult Kanye couldn’t stand the storm and went back to his old ways.

When you say Jesus is King and you proclaim it boldly then you have to surrender and let Jesus be the King over yourself.

Kanye's main issue is his pride. His pride in his work, his pride in himself.
When you pray you have to humble yourself knowing that everything you do, even your ability to speak is a gift from God. He calls himself a genius but where does his gift come from?
The bible says we don't even know how to pray and what to ask for. The Holy Spirit reveals it to us.
Kanye's prayer can't be answered because His pride is the main obstacle getting in his way.
He is setting himself up for failure.
You shouldn't even be praying knowing you are antagonizing everyone around you.
In Matthew 5, 23-25 Jesus is very clear about the prayers and offerings that are pleasing to God:

“Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. His prayers not answered are him paying the last penny of his deeds literally and figuratively speaking.
Now that his prayers were not answered he reverted back to his old ways and said he took matters into his own hands. What he does not know is that his method may work for a time but they are not a permanent solution to his issues. They will keep coming back unless he repents ( he changes directions).
When Kanye released his “Jesus is King” album I was in a low place. I was so far from Jesus. Funny enough Kanye’s transformation, or so called transformation was a huge first step for me to also return to Jesus. I thought “If Jesus can change someone like him I need to pay more attention”. My life has completely changed, and now it doesn’t matter what others say, or Kanye says, I cannot deny Gods hand in my life the past few years. Part of my major transformation was complete submission to Gods will, no matter what. God can use anything to speak to you, I can only hope and pray that Kanye comes to the same understanding and submission, because that’s what makes the difference.

However, when @sheykalogen9699 says that the walk is not an easy walk, they're not talking about becoming saved, but the Christian life. Yes we are saved when we accept Christ and confess he is lord, but we will go through trials because we live in a sinful world, we will struggle with temptations that we will face in this life because we live in the human flesh. That's why we need Jesus in the first place and why need to follow him and trust him in our highest peaks and lowest valleys.

When I was married, I prayed for children...years and years, tears and tears 😭...wondering why my husband made it so hard to have a family with his excuses. I wondered why God could not change his heart towards me...why didn't God want ME to have kids...this is what I thought. After 9 years of marriage, I found out my husband was an adulterer and was not even a christian, but was playing the role of one. 😮 God saved me from a HUGE MISTAKE even revealed to me in dream a week before I found out WHO HE was that he was purposefully wasting my time and denying to be with me so that he won't have kids at all. God knows what is BEST for us, and this is why we need to trust Him and not our own understanding.

I believe “faith without works” is saying faith=belief and works=obedience. Can’t have faith and evil works and expect God to move…
Our good works aren't our own, they're God working through us - works that He ordained beforehand (Ephesians 2:10). We try to follow the love because we love Him, but the law is a curse that can't save us, Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law (Galatians 3:13) - we are only saved by His grace through our faith in Christ & His finished work on the cross (Ephesians 2:8-9). 🥰

@@angiew2324 yes I agree our works don’t save us. But the believer is required to most importantly have faith and to do good works. God will provide the seed but in order for the seed to grow into fruit we must plant it. There is work to be done on the believers part. We are in a relationship with Christ, it takes our faith and works to keep this relationship going. Jesus didn’t come to abolish the law but to fulfill it.

you preaching today nick. i loved the message, because i’ve been praying alot because i have a court case for my daycare license. i’m asking that Gods will be done and if He wants he can move on my behalf, and i win my court case by the grace of God. i’ve asked God in my pass to take a man from me and help me. the relationship lasted 7 years. everything came to a head and in one day it was all over. after two years i was really sad because i lost my unborn child and him as a companion. than i remembered i prayed for this. God reminded me i answered your prayers so what are you crying about. Recently i remember the dream of him with other women. i remembered the dream God showed me he didn’t care. in the end he didn’t truly care, and now it’s over and it’s over. Kanye tripping i fear only God because i don’t want to Go to Hell for eternity. ima pray for Kanye he stop trying to lead people to hell.
