    You SERIOUSLY need to remake this video from the opposite side. You know, where you're doing all the work.. I can't see what you're doing.

    What size wrench/socket for the caliper bolts & caliper mount bracket? What's the torque spec for the caliper mount bracket to knuckle? - thanks

    So I have a good question that might have been done off camera I have an 2002 Yukon Denali I am planning on replacing my brakes so my question is with doing the decompression of the calipers do I need to still bleed my brakes as well once everything is completed?

    • @leeisenberg
      @leeisenberg Před 4 lety

      No, not unless there's a good reason to bleed the brakes. Just make sure there's plenty of brake fluid in the master cylinder reservoir, sometimes it pushes the level up & can make a mess if they were worn out & fluid topped off.

      If its an ABS system you want to open the bleed valve up so its doesn't reverse flow when compressing caliper

    I have a question for you. When changing the front brake pads Do you always have to change the rotor also with the brake pads? I have a 1998Yukon GMC the step you showed me on the video Do I follow the same steps when change my brakes?

    • @amsautomotive
      @amsautomotive  Před 8 lety

      +tmyeshia72 It is always a good idea to replace or turn the brake rotors when replacing brake pads. The steps on all brake pad replacements will be similar to the video.
