Thank you for your insight. I would appreciate if you could shed more light on this APP. 1) Is this APP better than GRAB? 2) When you make a booking with PassApp, do you need to indicate your pickup location or do you only need to enter the destination you want to go to? 3) Would you advise to book a tuktuk using this APP upon arrival at Siem Reap airport to the hotel, or is it advisable to arrange airport transfer in advance before arrival? I reckon that the advance pre-arrangement might be more expensive than booking it on the spot at the airport? Thank you.

Hi, thanks for your comment. Great questions, I feel I should answer. 1) I've used both, they're both fairly close in costs, I think it boils down to the individuals taste on the interface style. For some reason I've stuck with passapp and very comfortable with the app style. 2) It automatically detects where you are when booking, however the GPS may be a bit off so I usually move the pickup location manually to my exact location if its incorrect. 3) I would suggest booking when you land. It literally takes just a few minutes for driver arrival. Worst case is 15minutes wait because driver was stuck in traffic during holiday, which is the longest I've had to wait and I've used this app daily. There's usually plenty of drivers especially in the main cities such as Siem Reap and Phnom Penh.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my questions. I guess you booked the tuktuk from the old airport? With the new airport an hour from the city, I am wondering if it's still advisable to book it upon arrival.@@quanthachjourney

good question, I don’t think bolt is available in Cambodia and if they are I really have never seen any driver using bolt here. I do notice they have great feedback for other countries such as Thailand
