- If you currently own this newer version of the Oxelo Carve 540, you will know that there are only one set of holes for your trucks.
And then you will know that riding it and turning feels like you are driving a lorry.
In this video, i go through how I shortened the wheelbase on my own. Not sure if this is the right way, you can let me know in the comments.
Riding on the shorter wheelbase is quite the improvement! but that is fore another video.

I watched your video and decided to do the same. I brought both front and hind trucks closer together, the wheelspacing is just a bit larger then that of a shortboard. I also placed an angled riser on my hind truck to increase its turning ability. I tell you 4 extra holes and a wedge makes all the difference. Also the tail is now actually long enough to ollie onto curbs.
When i made the holes i used a special drill bit to make dentations for the screws to sink in. Cant even tell i added them to the board.
Great idea, much thanks, i don't think i can make the board perform any better, it turns super tight, good enough for doing infinity loops.
Absolutely love it! What a great idea to move the hind tucks forward. That set up should really turn now.
Heck yeah I bet it Turns Alot Better. Shorten that wheelbase by 3 inches Approx....

Followed your guide and shorten the wheelbase of my oxelo too. BTW - advisable to try 70mm wheels for this board? Thanks for making these videos.
Good job! I tried to drill holes using trucks base. Ended up having a bit shifted holes. But practice makes perfect :)
