- Welcome to Movie Shortens. Louis Bloom is jobless and also a robber. He wants to try something new, but no one is willing to give him a chance. He watches an accident one day, and seeing two men arrive and record the entire incident. He learns that the tape will be sold to a television news program. As a result, Bloom decides to become involved. He buys a cheap video camera and a police scanner and soon finds himself dashing to accidents, robberies, and fire scenes at night. He strikes up a relationship with Nina Romina, the news director for a local Los Angeles television station. As the quality of his video footage improves, so does his pay, and he hires Rick, a young and unemployed worker, to assist him. The more successful he becomes, however, it becomes clear that Louis will do anything even with evil purpose to obtain visuals from crime scenes.

Thanks for watching!
Loved this movie. It shows the real world where people would do anything to climb up even putting others down in process.
As much as I agree that there are are people out there who are extremely selfish, I don't think you should ever get "real world" analysis from movies.
@@okdarius for me, i like the idea that nice guy would never be that succes, every millionaire is an asshole in real life
He really killed his employee for his company broo
He also made rick the bait right?💀
He should have been arrested after he went into an active crime scene and contaminated it by running thru the house like that.
Yes thats exactly what i thougt
He said he was seeing if anyone needed help but I do agree because he left the scene.
@@rictaracing2736, At the same time, going in to help but holding a camera the entire time and never really showing you trying to help while filming should make police seriously question him and at the very least be able to confiscate the video as evidence since he contaminated the crime scene and his video could be crucial evidence for the investigation.
Although it was a super intense and pretty good movie, it had so much over the top aspects that made it hard to buy into. Having said that, I could probably see this happening in real life and someone being able to get away with what he did.
@@JacksonHoulihan I agree! Well said :)
Hur hur smol pp.
I was waiting for him get his karma, but he didn’t. Painfully realistic ending I guess
Good
It's interesting to see a depiction of a psychopath in a movie who isn't a "brilliant and charming" serial killer.
I was in the subway on my way to a meeting when a man jumped in front of our train. The train didn't hit him and we all got off the train to see what was going on. I am a medical student so my instincts kicked in and tried to push past the crowd. I wanted to know if I could do something. The man was just laying there signaling the train to run over him. He obviously didn't want to live anymore . Luckily, there was a subway employee there trying to talk with him. Now, I look around and see people taking out their phones and filming him. I was furious! He was in a very bad place mentally what if he got his treatment and regretted this in 6 months? Now the footage is everywhere! What if this was your loved one? Would you want them people to film instead of helping and talking to him? I felt like I was trapped in those weird movies just like this one where it feels like they are exaggerating, but I assure you there are people for everything! Please respect people's privacy this is exactly what they did to Princess Diana, Kobe Bryant and so many more. Respect people's privacy. Put down your damn phone and call for help. If that is already done and professional people are there, get out of the way!
Exactly!Please respect others privacy
Or film it and make some money.
Very true man. This is why I hate people.
In public there is .. None
I know that clinically diagnosed sociopaths are not all this bad but it still scares me. The manipulation, the disregard for others for his/her own benefit, the lack of sympathy, and the tunnel vision, pinhole vision rather, with their goal is terrifying for me to imagine that there definitely are people like this.
They are more evolved. Lucky them.
@@algorithmicalychallenged.291 they are outcasts

Are you told the truth? How would you know?
A person like this should never get praise.
One of the best Jake Gyllenhaal movies. One of the best movies about LA too.

Why do you people always have to blow-by-blow the plot? Ignorant. You can tell it in a few sentences.
