- Aaron Rodgers is out with an ankle injury and on the replay it certainly looked like a pop in the back of his calf

Doc put the tie on as soon as he saw Rodgers land on the turf
Facts 😂
He was watching with the tie on. He's a professional physician. 😊❤️🩹❤️❤️🩹
He watches the games in a nice shirt and tie, but he never puts pants on.
Aaron Rodgers lied about covid vaccination and thinks its not real. Maybe we think he's faking the injury?
Just like how you quick to comment for cheap internet likes
I'm a Packers fan, but just as a football fan I feel robbed. I can't imagine how the Jets are feeling, I really wanted to see what it would look like with Rodgers. Hope he's able to comeback this season somehow.
It’s alright bc the bills are the bills 😂
but we might not get that 1st and it'll turn into a second
@@ChiefHandler444winning and the jets can never be in the same sentence it’s why they got Rodgers bum ass
@@JohnE9Xactually it’s a 2nd or nothing based on playing time, so trade is done now and no Jets picks next year

As soon as I saw this, I knew exactly where I was going for the explanation. Doc Sutterer always delivers.

THANK. YOU!!! As a med student, this in depth analysis is soooooo good, more so just knowing HOW you think and what you’re looking for is just so mind boggling
As an athletic training student that is currently in a lower extremity evaluation class, this lines up perfectly with what I’m learning. Thanks Brian.
Good luck getting a job.

@gmo9023 here
Any aged football fan knows right away its probobly the heel that torn. At best a bad sprain.
Keep paying attention kid!
This sucks so bad for Rodgers and Jets fans. I wanted to see what they can do this year

Feel bad? Greatest gyms and doctors to do with and he making over $200 now to just show up and tell zack Wilson what he would of done in that play and just coach. Feel bad for him hahahhahaahahahhaha
I ruptured my plantaris in July and it was terrifying at the time, because it feels exactly like what has been described to me as an achilles rupture. Thankfully 3 weeks later I was able to do most everything normally again. I still get bad swelling for some reason, but no pain.
As a Jet fan, I'm hoping that's what happened to Rodgers. So I guess even tho it's way less extreme then an Achilles tear, it's still painful and would require and walking boot?
You get swelling because of the scar tissue. Go try to break it down and you’ll notice a difference
Wow, the Dr. nailed it without anything else but TV footage. Incredible.
Heys part of the paid scripted rigged NFL.
Thank you for being so quick with this analysis!

Had to come back and mention that I told my fantasy group to watch and take your video seriously and vouched for your diagnostic analysis. You still don't fail Doctor.
Great video! I hope he has a speedy recovery, AND you make an update with the bio-digital anatomy model! That’s the best part!!!!
shout out to Brian for getting this video out in record time
My man, this a a niche that you absolutely nail. Halftime just started and analysis already up. You're gonna be linked on so many threads. Keep up the great work.
It is nice to be able to link a Dr. opinions.
So quick and efficient release of this video! Legit woke up (Europe) and saw Rodgers possibly tore his Achilles and was waiting for this video to come out as had no doubt it would be posted!
he had aaron rodgers injury diagnosis before the doctors on the field! doc watches games in that office to make videos ASAP! amazing work! HAHA
The speed with which you run into your “studio” to make these high quality videos is awesome. Speed. Quality. You are the GOAT of sports injury videos.
Thank you on explaining scenarios on this injury play. That was quick! I was wondering what your thoughts were & thank you doctor
I am a new subscriber, your detail to this injury is incredible.
Great analysis from a fellow (ER) doc. Mechanism of injury almost always gives the diagnosis.
The Doc needs to make a video once in a while grading himself on these quick takes, like a "was I right?" video
lol right because they docs said all the tests were negative. aaron pulling a diva because hes upset his o-line cant defend him. he looks like peter griffin. ahhhh ahhhhhh ahhhhh ahhhh

I heard his Patreon Members got this video yesterday.
I swear you doc are the bomb. We all rush to your page once an athlete gets injured
Great explanation doc! Appreciate your clear and understandable response on this injury. Keep up the excellent work!
After what happened to KD, any time a player goes down like this following an earlier calf injury, I automatically assume it's the achilles. He also had that trademark "thousand yard stare" going on, like "come get me"
He looked completely dejected on the cart. Players just know when it’s bad.
He looked dejected because he was told to fake the injury.
As you can clearly see he stands up, shows zero sign of pain, looks at the sideline, then sits down and pretends his way to a stretcher.
It’s comically obvious…
@@lucaschudleigh7193 you trollin' 😂
@@lucaschudleigh7193 LMAO it's a multi billion dollar business with contracts detailing all sorts of things. You think it's some deep secret thing why Rodgers is out for the season? They have these players under a microscope and know if they can play or not because they have some of the best doctors working for them because american football is brutal as hell on the body. He's going to undergo surgery for the achilles tear because there is no other option.
I knew you'd be on this quickly!! With the air boot, I'm guessing your first thoughts are right!!! Hope it's just the muscle and not the Achilles!!
Thanks for the video, as always!!💜
I hope you're right, but the Jets coach said at the press conference, "it's not looking good." So we'll see what the MRI reveals tomorrow.
I subscribed to you as soon as you got it right about the Zach Wilson preseason injury last year. It's unfortunate another a Jets QB gets your video diagnosis, but I personally trust it. Thank you Doctor.
The title of this changed from "i saw a pop" to a definitive virtual diagnosis? 🤔
Great work Doc! I think the NFL knows about you and your videos. They were talking about doctors making “guesses” on CZcams. But you’re right almost all the time! Awesome stuff for us fans

I love your timing Doc you meet the demand perfectly. Blessings.
Rodgers has had calf injuries in at least two seasons that I can remember. In his 2014 MVP season he played through a pretty bad calf tear.
Rodgers been injured prone his entire career, 2010, 2013, 2017..he got injured week 1 in 2018 and yes even in 2014.
@@shaochiavanghe’s normally just been tough and played through any injuries he could, but yeah. He’s almost always had an injury most seasons. His MVP seasons were the exception besides 14, but that injury was late and likely why they didn’t get to the Super Bowl quite honestly.
A calf and Achilles is different one is painful but able to play through but Achilles is something that could end his season
He was much younger in 2014 too.
Bro that was 10 years ago
It's impressive how QUICK you get these videos up!! I feel pretty confident that it's an achilles rupture, especially because he was dealing with a calf strain during training camp. (I'm a PT by the way)
he would not have walked off and would have been using people's shoulders or crutches to walk I think, especially once he was headed into the xray. Also, you don't xray an achilles injury, you would know well before an xray if it was an achilles that went.
@@DanielMustang47kobe made two free throws and walked off with am Achilles injury
@@DanielMustang47you get a x-ray to see if you have a more structural damage and if it shows up there but it's just procedure but a MRI is needed for sure and you can walk with a rupture. Kobe shot free throws and walked back to the bench with his and KD only needed some help but was able to do it as well.
@@DanielMustang47he was carried and carted off the field... wtf are you talking about?
@@InfiniteKhaos nah he walked off the field. He was carter from the sidelines, but was seen walking again thereafter. I do stand corrected though, seems he tore his achilles
Quick, unbiased, and educational! Great channel and great video doc!
Great stuff Doc....thank you for sharing!
Plant. Dorsiflex. Pop. Ouch. I was wondering about the commorbidity of an eversion type ankle injury as well. But Liz Franc makes perfect sense, too.
I see you doc! Getting us those live injury updates!
torn achilles spot on
As always, thank you doctor for your videos and explanations!!
Wow man! This is the first time I have been introduced to your channel. Damn good first impression! Lol. Seriously, much RESPECT for your knowledge and such a quick post after the injury. I'm just so impressed 💯 !... p.s. booooo injuries
Was scrambling to get to this video. Thank you 👍🏼 also great work
I was looking for this channel as soon as this happened. I Subscribed.
Good point on the Lisfranc injury. Im also noting the extreme, uneven load borne on the anterior ankle from 1st step after rupture- his ATFL complex got so compressed😮
Really praying the mri he gets tomorrow doesn’t shows Aaron Rodgers tore his Achilles. Not a jets fan but i have love and respect for all players and teams and don’t want to see a legend like A Rod go down after 4 snaps into an extremely hyped season. The jets have all the pieces and just needed a qb.. its Truly sad.. if you’re reading this plz say a prayer for him..

As a ruptured Achilles survivor, I can say it absolutely suuuuckssss. Out for a year.
RIP Aaron Rodgers. He had a great career.
Best career. Will go down in history with the highest passer rating of all time (unless mahomes gets his shit together)
Thanks for this! Very informative!
You provide a great service to fans. Thank you.
Achilles tears always reminds me of Lawrence Taylor in the early 1990s. He came back a year later, played one season and called it quits, saying he could no longer play at his previous level.
Same for Kobe Bryant...
Dominique Wilkins to 😮
This injury reminds me that we always expect something that isn't promised and in a quick moment it can be gone just like that
Hi Brian! This is Terri Gosnell from RHIT! (I'm still in the Grad Studies office.) Looks like you are now a doc! I was searching slo-mo videos of Aaron's injury and when I saw yours, I said, "I know that guy!" LOL! I've been a Packer fan forever and a fan of Rodgers too. We sure hated to see him go out this way. Great to see that you are doing well!
Appreciate this quick upload and walkthrough. Jets Nation has their fingers crossed.
He dealt with a left calf strain in training camp last month, so perhaps there was something still weak/compromised in that chain.
Hoping for the best case outcome and a healthy recovery.
Good eye Doc. I'm a strength coach and your understanding of biomechanics along with your concise explanation is spot on.
Bro your amazing I didn’t even notice that I thought he just didn’t wana play behind that oline 😂
Your analysis is appreciated - thanks
The jets head coach just said that it may be an achilles tear. Really appreciate the analysis. Some people in the comments are tryna act like they know more than you.
Thank you for what you do - Jets fans 😢
As a packers fan all I can think of is 2018 week 1 it’s the same foot/calf and people forget he played almost that whole season on a severe mcl sprain and it’s been 4-5 years since then
That was a fake injury he used for attention and excuses
New to the channel, great explanation, thank you!
Do you do NHL injuries as well?
You know how the NFL has the rules expert during broadcasts to explain the rules in detail? Dr. Sutterer should be there to explain these types of injuries. Great channel.
The reaction and the fact that he couldn't walk on it made me think it was an Achilles pop. Like he stood up and then was like "oh shit, my leg is gone".
What a bummer. Hope he recovers quickly.

Wow once again right on the money good work Brian
Thanks for everything you do, Doc! Tough news for Aaron, I was still rooting for him as a Packers fan.
I first watched your videos when the whole Damar Hamlin was happening in real time. You were so accurate. Now I always go to your channel when things like this happen, for the accuracy.
Then I watch SC and see the coach make an announcement on what you had already diagnosed.
He was not accurate at all in the Hamlin situation.
Spot on
Thank you for this detailed description of Aaron Rodgers' injury. It's my sincere hope Rodgers will recover quickly, although the Achilles tendon can be a difficult one to heal. However, your explanation about the supportive muscles in the lower leg helps me to understand the complexities of the injury.
Thank you again for your thorough and detail-oriented explanations. I found them to be very helpful.
Just curious: where did you attend medical school and where did you complete residency?
Good call !!! Thank you...
Damn speedy recovery Aaron. I feel pain for the jets organization and fans. Prayers up 🙏🏾
These QBS still haven't learned anything from Kurt warner get rid of the damn ball
facts take the sack or throw the ball away!
No sack just throw it away live to see another down
Dude was on point here. NICE WORK!!!
Thansk for the video Doc . Hope he recovers soon😪
I'm NOT a doctor, but I watch a lot of sports --- and this is a ruptured Achilles tendon!
All three of these athletes were temporarily out with what was called a calf sprain! Kobe, KG and Aaron!
And once all of them came back to play --- POP goes the Achilles!
And it may be karma catching up to Aaron!
And if I was the Jets, I'd say nice knowin' ya, but see ya never!
Cut your losses now and go get Kap!
He gotta be better than Zack!
Lightning wishes it was as fast as Brian is with his uploads.

Thanks for the info Doc!
Wow……this Doctor is amazing? I have a sciatica issue doc, can I send you a video? All respect!
Almost live commentary. Good job. As a Cowboys fan, I guess we'll not have to face him next week.
But you'll still have to face that defense.
Breece Hall breaks on the first run of the game and they immediately abandon the run so Rodgers can throw 🤦🏿♂️ if they would have ran the ball at least one more time Rodgers wouldn't have gotten hurt running for his life 🤦🏿♂️
i also dont know why rogers kept trying to extend the play by running he is too old for that, should just take the sack or throw the ball out of bounds
Thanks, for explaining Dr.
My guy was on it.
Saleh just said to the media that it’s an Achilles injury.
Rodgers didn’t even get 4 plays in, Tough
Rodgers should of Retired when he was ahead of his career
