Bone dogs are good in combat without mods, because they attack quickly and hit an area. Dont really want packs on them. They also eat cut off limbs, which is surprisingly helpful.
id like to see some more personalized, geared companions where some are labourers, fighters, ect. Instead of like 20 companions who of which i only know cabo
I think since its only the early stages of the game, he just needs to scale for a while like this, when his guys can actually fight he can create builds i suppose. What you are saying is like "...c'mon man you are playing nasus jump on that riven man, stop fighting with minions!" ^_^
I like listening to you explain what you're currently doing and why so I feel in longer videos you can discuss those better. Having never even heard of most of the games you play it's enjoyable to watch because you're explaining things as you do them unlike most you tubers who assume you know everything about the game already.
I like the vids between 10-20 min, for the longer ones i really have to commit in my head which stops me from immeadiately watching it upon coming out. But the content itself is awesome! Keep it up!
I say, so long as it does not go over 30 minutes and you have a good topic/goal per episode that you try to achieve so it does not feel dragging. Its fun to see constant progress in this game.
Man these longer episodes are great. I actually enjoy them a lot. It may take you longer, but hey it's entertaining. And it does sound like a cheesy mechanic, but hey whatever works man. Keep it up.
I don't like the use of exploits in Kenshi, it's a pretty easy way to ruin the fun of the game. Also, if you don't like to read the books, put them on screen for a few seconds so people can pause and read them if they want to. Great series, love the longer format. It feels a lot more chill and less manic.
I love the longer episodes, because I know what are the all actions that you are planning to do, lot of things happen during them and overall they aren't many things that we missed between shorter episodes. Keep up the good work :)
try getting some archers and heading to some of the old ruins filled with spiders, you can lure them out slowly and have archers slowly kill them while you control a faster character to keep its attention and dodge attacks, most ruins have fat loot for early game
i like these longer videos, maybe its just me but they are very relaxing and at the same time entertaining. Your commentary and voice is also really calming so that helps. I am a big fan of the longer style videos. Cheers bro
Fuck dude you already got me to buy M&B now you're getting me on the verge of Kenshi. Also I definitely enjoy the longer videos, especially in a game like this that's slow so we get more content out of the session
So games like morrowind teached me few things- if there is a way to exploit something you do it, you do it and you dont look back, enemies aint goona pull their punches and you shouldnt cut yourself of ways to survive in this savage world. Also the longer vid the better, love your voice man.
I like the 30 minute format, but maybe a 1-2 min intro of "previous, we did blank" and that is super quick recap. That will make watching mid episode much more enjoyable if I don't chain watch.
south west of worlds end is a river, and if you swim halfway down the river there is some ruins, the armor king is in those ruins, and he sells the best gear you can buy anywhere on the whole map. If cabo is above 50 in stealth, lock pick, and thieving you can steal a bunch from him and deck out your party
You can cook meat of a fire, you can build it in thr building menu. You can see items by pressing alt key. If you get closer in the map, pressing +, you will see the location of animel nests and bandit camps.
You can make your videos as long as you like. I watch lobosjr's youtube videos and they start from 3h to 5h and i just sot and watch them little by little or just do it in one go. So yeah even tho im saying this as someone who is new to your videos and stuff i for 1 love it. Keep up the good work.
yo first of all im all for longer vids, makes it not quite as fast paced, and gives me more time to enjoy the game your playing ^^ also in case you are looking for another game to play i would recommend Kingdom Come: Deliverance, its a super in depth medieval RPG with a quite decent story and a glorious combat system :)
Advise when you try to steal things in a shop, if someone is sleeping in the floor you are trying to steal things (in chests/containers) you can knock em out and go to steal them. The chances will go up and your assassination/thievery skill will go up
Lowkey depends, I like longer videos as long as it means more content, and not less editing, but I love ur Kenshi series in general so I guess I'll stick to w/e you post
hey trm, check out the shinobi thieves guild. i dont know where they are spread but in the desert parts they reside inside of major towns inside of an unsigned building with a guy standing up front. After you pay the initial fee of 10k, they let you in their safehouses. There one can find, among training dummies for melee attack/lockpicking/assassination, a shinobi trader that sells more or less random items daily, but, since it's fenced goods, he sells it for half prize. You save the 10k after just buying 4 of those nice thieves backpacks!
For your information, bonuses and maluses are just how fast a character can learn that skill. That character can be a master at that skill, but it may take them longer than others to get there. So, a Shek medic is actually pretty decent since they start out with a pretty high base stat that can be increased over time.
A rip for the future, try to join the Shinobi thieves and get your assassination leveled up there with Cabo,as well as lock-picking. After that when you enter houses with a person sleeping in them you can knock them out in their sleep and loot goods for 100% whilst in pause to have sufficient time.
If you ZOOM IN in the MAP you can actually see the little villages and other locations you passed , when the map is zoomed out, you can only see the big cities
Hey TRM, Some Tips/Feedback: 1.) I think if you did longer Videos no one would mind, especially if you uploaded a long video and separated them into parts. 2.) If you Shift + Left Click on Medic then Rescue, Your party member or members will auto heal themselves and others (if they have medkits) and if you have a bed the rescue option will have them put the unconscious person to bed. 3.) If you Go into Squad and then click the AI Tab you can have your party share food automatically. 4.) If you Shift Right click mining your units will continue to mine as long as their inventory is empty and will auto haul the load to any storage unit if any are nearby. 5.) When you get bored with Vanilla check out the mods. 6.) Get a Thieves Backpack for our guys Cabo
Nah, the cheesiest mechanic in Kenshi is to put someone in your party on block then dismiss them. This will put them permanently on block, so when you attack them, the only thing they do is block. After you attack them, they will hostile you immediately on getting back up (after you beat them down) but they will still only block, never doing damage, so combine this with a prisoner cage to make them actually heal up instead of just getting conscious and attacking.
I always play with a 2nd squad of two people that sit in a house and research / craft / sell. You can automate research and crafting using the jobs system but selling whatever you choose to craft is manual. I crafted and sold leather armor, as you make it you make better and better quality and you'll start to make thousands for a leather armor-piece.
You should train str for at least 30 mins offscreen. It should be around 25-30str when done. Encumber then til 80% then get them to carry a dead or alive bandit, animals, etc. each pawn. Put them to bodyguard a patrol guard of any settlement that wont rest. That should do it.
Dont sell the skeleton repair kit u can use it to fix a mechanical spider and those things r op jus go hire another group and fight the spider and injure it so you can repair and recruit it
You can do another exploit with your own pack animals. If you have a person that can run quite fast, you can pick up an animal that moves slowly due to weight or whatever and move them at almost the max move speed of the guy carrying the animal.
yo couple of tips that you might already know: keep a backpack full of ore in your inventory (not on your back where you usually keep the backpacks) to train your strength while you work running around, plus while you do that I found helpful to buy a bull to 1) keep items I usually had to drop due to lack of space and 2) put heavy items and backpacks on it to get maximum movespeed for your characters to run away when you need it. This game is really good even though stealth and stealing in general looks kinda bugged sometimes and I am a big savescum lol
You need an athletics trained companion with running skeleton legs to outrun them in vanilla, but there's a mod that makes the spider reasonably fast instead of OMG can't outrun them even with 40 athletics.
Train a runner and a few archers. Have the runner kite the robots while the archers fire from afar. But imo just train martial arts to about 50 by fighting hungry bandits. Because dodge gets trained with martial arts, you end up never getting hit even against large groups. And since you're in light armor, you can usually run long enough to thin out the group, then turn and attack.
When i dont know the game (kenshi in this example) i want longer episodes so i can watch and learn about game mechanics thorougly. But when i watch a game like warband i like shorter and more dense episodes
I actually prefer longer episodes
On my mother in law
I sincerely prefer longer. around 30 to 1 hour are the perfect spot for me
You are so underrated keep up the good work
I came for the league content, I stayed for m&b and kenshi. I actually turned on the bell because i love this series. Keep up the good work man
I like the longer episodes, and have fallen in love with Cabo jr.
Imo a 15 to 25 min video is perfect, its not to long and not that short
hans Peter-Jürgen Especially when you’re getting shit done in a edited video.
@@travisturner1186 Kinda like my penis
That's gay
thank god trm...i thought no upload for today
Had me tweaking too
Keep the videos at ~20 minutes. They're long enough to satisfy irregular uploads, but short enough to satisfy regular/daily uploads
Buy Bulls to carry things, and some bone dogs cause when they grow up they become beasts
I can never find back packs for bone dogs. Its always bulls and guar backbacks
Bone dogs are good in combat without mods, because they attack quickly and hit an area. Dont really want packs on them.
They also eat cut off limbs, which is surprisingly helpful.
@@Marth667 there isn't one in the vanila because it has a mod for It.
@@CaptainLekirk Well I have a whole squad of dogs up to more then 10, I strongly desagree with you
They eat like beasts though. Damn
25 min holy moly, you could upload 2 hours straight and i'll watch it all in one go!
Keep it up, gonna definitely buy this game cause of you.
trm by clicking the arrow above your stats on the left you can see your speed and other stats related to what your character is doing at the time
this
I think most of us prefer the longer type videos where you explain your thoughts and show more
id like to see some more personalized, geared companions where some are labourers, fighters, ect. Instead of like 20 companions who of which i only know cabo
yeah! some with heavy armor and long reach weapons and others with light armor and fast weapons, or martial arts.
That would be awesome.
I think since its only the early stages of the game, he just needs to scale for a while like this, when his guys can actually fight he can create builds i suppose. What you are saying is like "...c'mon man you are playing nasus jump on that riven man, stop fighting with minions!" ^_^

25 mins is really good. You actually have a nice commentary and do not sound bored at all.
Keep it up.
Stealing from the Cannibal Hunters was cheesy goodness
Didn't even notice the longer video - I like it. Time flies by fast watching you
I don't care much for the length of the video, as long as you edit the way you did in ep1/2 I'll LOVE it! :D
its so satisfying to watch this, keep it coming!

I love the longer vids as long as it doesn’t chip into your beautiful commentary
I work at night and there is a new episode after work it is the highlight of my day.
I think 25 minutes is perfect, not too long and not too short. And your videos are awesome. Keep up!!

I honestly didnt notice that it was 25 mins. It was well edited and that made the time fly.
I like the 30 minute format, but maybe a 1-2 min intro of "previous, we did blank" and that is super quick recap. That will make watching mid episode much more enjoyable if I don't chain watch.

Love the content
Also loot away on the mercs for hire 👍🏼
Just found your channel earlier, watched your first Kenshi vid up until now. I'm buying this game because you play it.
The longer the videos, the BETTER for Kenshi playthroughs.
Longer episodes, please. I really enjoy them
Oh also don’t underestimate the goats
hello a little tip from me =) You can stack the bandages by placing all used ones in the inventory of the fraction from which you got them.
For your information, bonuses and maluses are just how fast a character can learn that skill. That character can be a master at that skill, but it may take them longer than others to get there. YOOOOO LONG EPISODES AARE AMAZING
I would love for the videos to be longer they’re so good
since the town is smaller, you have to zoom in on your map to see it
For someone just now playing Kenshi these videos are mighty helpful.
Keep the videos half an hour long, makes them quite nice to watch!
for a game like this, around 20-25min vids are appreciated.
If you ZOOM IN in the MAP you can actually see the little villages and other locations you passed , when the map is zoomed out, you can only see the big cities
longer the beta bro i chill after 12h day and watch u jam this game i like that u explain unf so i understand what is going on gj keep it up
Longer episodes are great! You should consider building a base where you could start farming and researching and training your group.
Hey TRM,
Some Tips/Feedback:

Great vid bro. The length is perfect.
Cheese doesn't ruin it as long as you don't actively seek it out I think. :)
If the longer episodes aren't too much work, keep em'!

I am in love with your content. Keep them coming rainman.

You cant recruit mechanical spiders unless you have mods. Repair kits are what skeletons use as medkits
You can't recruit mechanical spiders, repair kits work as first aid kits for skeletons, nothing more
longer episoder is sooooo good. Keep it up
Good job. Keep the longer episodes. If it is possible it is not your problem. I have no problems if you use saves to go back and do the stuff right.
long video good
I really enjoy your videos and yeah being a thief is way too op
You can do another exploit with your own pack animals. If you have a person that can run quite fast, you can pick up an animal that moves slowly due to weight or whatever and move them at almost the max move speed of the guy carrying the animal.
I found that out too. I pick up my overloaded Garru and run with my 2 masterpiece scout legged char wherever I need.
yo couple of tips that you might already know: keep a backpack full of ore in your inventory (not on your back where you usually keep the backpacks) to train your strength while you work running around, plus while you do that I found helpful to buy a bull to 1) keep items I usually had to drop due to lack of space and 2) put heavy items and backpacks on it to get maximum movespeed for your characters to run away when you need it. You don't wanna go to the swamp, the spiders there are fast and strong, none of my companions could ever out run them.
You need an athletics trained companion with running skeleton legs to outrun them in vanilla, but there's a mod that makes the spider reasonably fast instead of OMG can't outrun them even with 40 athletics.
If you decided to search for some ancient stuff be very careful, there can be robots that'll shred you early on.

cant wait to see your first time crossing the Fog area :D
longer vods are awesome, I feel the free gear from your cannibal hunters is an exploit and you should not do it but you do you
Couple tips: You can loot bodies and interact with vendors while the game is paused
Also, taking off your armor increases your stealth
i loved long video. Thanks for your precious work.
Longer 20~ min vids are awesome, they go perfectly with a big ass bowl of pasta after a workout.
When i dont know the game (kenshi in this example) i want longer episodes so i can watch and learn about game mechanics thorougly. But when i watch a game like warband i like shorter and more dense episodes
good advice
the longer the better imo keep up the great work
im liking the longer videos but if they are going to lower quality or be to much of a strain then just keep doing what you usually do
I love the longer videos man
