There is a mod to increase the gates HP you should check that out. I think the capture mod is great. More interesting to see then going to a BAR and pay 3k cats.
He does not need that mod. He doesn't know that the way he built those walls will make his turret guys be unable to target the enemies hitting those walls. All you need to do is build your walls in a U shape around the walls for maximum carnage and have 1-3 guys repair the walls although the turrets will be so op they would rarely even do 2 damage to your walls. Little bit salty though that he despawned all those enemies which would had made a very good episode watching his whole crew get fked. I'm gonna try out the capture prisoner mods. Although, if the mod is broken where I can hire anyone with extreme ez I will simply uninstall it.
I think he should get the gate mod, i got it because gates shouldn't be destroyed that easy, plus the mod comes with different levels of health increase.
@@sequanmartin8336 The thing is if you build your walls in a U shape with the wall you're wall won't really be damaged that hard. For example 3 of my double turret guys can clear out a big group of Berserkers with stats of 50+ in a time frame of 10-30 secs. If you need this mod you are clearly tbh building your walls incorrectly. I have maxxed out research by the way. Didn't bother to build a base until I had lab level 6. I might have to take a picture to show you guys how to build a proper defence that even an army of bugmasters won't be much of a threat.
The recruitable prisoners mod is really good if you want big armies. Only problem i have with it is that certain enemy types like ninjas all have the same dialogue tree, meaning that all you have to do is pick the exact same responses everytime to get a really good recruit. I did this with faction leaders like Oni of the Sand Ninjas, Dimak of the Black Dragon Ninjas, etc. It's actually kind of broken

I'm on my first playthrough of Kenshi atm, got into it because of your videos. Now that you have an outpost you can hire mercs to gaurd it for you, VERY useful for defending early. I recommend getting the longer contracts mod for them. Same daily cost, but you can hire for longer. It gets annoying having to renew every few days. Loving the videos btw!

Its OP when you learn more about the recruitment mechanics. Even if you limit the strength range of recruitment at dust bandit boss level, its still OP.
one mod that i wouldn't mind you doing a second playthrough with would be the zombie mod, where as hordes of hordes are released upon the world... meaning if you are unlucky enough you won't be safe in your home in heng. it makes the game a bit easier early game (easier to train your guys since they are naked and strictly unarmed) and you can kidnap them and sell them, unless you are unlucky enough to get knocked out all alone where they eat you while you are unconscious. they are based off a similar faction in the game, that linger within the fog, meaning even if you dont have the mod installed... good luck :)

lissen make a air lock in your base make walls that connect to you wall with the gate and extend them with a new gate and put turrents on the wall facing in so they shoot at the raiders that come into your airlock
You can alter the height placement as well as rotation of buildings and objects in the build menu (check the controls) as it is different on my keybord. Thus you can build walls on a hillslope properly. In hard cases you can also enter edit mode with shift F12 and then place stuff, you have to click fix issues and redo the navmesh which is also available in the menu. Since this is technically cheating I wouldn't recommend it unless some things simply dont want to fit although they should.
it was not caused by the reactive world mod. the reactive world mod creates 17 different cannibal factions that fight each other. You removed the mod and it removed the tribe you were fighting and ultimately my respect for you.
Pro tips: 1. Don't apologize in videos. Especially not about past videos. Why? Because it's not content. New viewers (potential new subs) have no context or interest in it. Most old viewers haven't read more than the top 3 comments on any other video anyway, and even if returning viewers didn't like something, they're only here on this video because, whatever those issues were, it didn't stop them from coming back for this one. If you did something Jake Paul awful IRL on a video, that'd be worthy of apology--made into its own separate vid. Outside of that, just don't. 2. lol mod popularity on steam workshop tells you absolutely nothing about whether that mod OP. Lots of people like to play OP mods. (not saying the particular one you talk about is OP though. Just saying that your reasoning is flawed there. No big deal.) 3. Instead of trying to convince us that some mod you're using isn't OP, just tell us what the mod is, why you wanted to try it, and how much you're enjoying it so far. Opinions on whether it's OP will vary, so trying to make arguments about it mid video is kinda silly. We're here to see you play the game, hear you talk about how play is going, and most importantly feel like we've kinda got a long distance friend who's interested in the same game we are. Fill that last need consistently and other mistakes don't matter much. Best of luck with the channel and the series!
Loving the Kenshi vids, but you left out a lot of stuff between this video and the last one, it might be just me but missing out on what’s happened makes me lose a bit of interest. A simple edit where you recruit them all/when you farm for the money to buy them would be nice and doesn’t take too much time of the vid

The moment you start recruiting (high) paladins, you pretty much won the game. So yeah very OP mod.

NPCs will only break down your gate but when they break it down it doesn't destroy it it just opens the door you can repair it when The Siege is done

You only need 2-3 people to work the mines process to Stone and store the building material
use the prospect button to see the amount of stone, water, fertility etc. around you
