As the Trump family gears up for another election season, tensions rise between the First Lady and First Daughter. Melania Trump and her step daughter, Ivanka Trump, are only twelve years apart. Although there are some similarities between the women, such as their past careers in the fashion industry, they often don’t see eye to eye when it comes to business and politics.
Since entering the White House, Ivanka has been appointed to a high ranking position as an advisor to the president. In this role, Donald Trump’s eldest daughter has taken on many of the roles and projects traditionally tasked to the First Lady. While Ivanka has a mind for business and public relations, Trump’s wife is more content to focus on raising her son, fourteen year old Barron Trump.
The media has portrayed the relationship between Ivanka and Melania to be strained. Is this really the case? In a recent tell-all book, a former employee and friend of the Trump family has revealed alleged secrets about the Step-mother/Step-daughter pair. The author claims that Ivanka has worked to achieve the top female spot in the Trump administration, while Melania has attempted to retain her position through various campaigns and projects for women, education, and young people.

To be impressed with Melania doesn’t mean one has to be against Ivanka. These are 2 completely different women in completely different relationships with DT. Ivanka was raised with ultimate privilege. Melania, coming from a different land, appears most humble & is extremely impressive with her class, style, intelligence & the fact that she speaks 5 languages.

As a child of divorce and having a stepmother, it is not easy at all to deal with a stepparent or step siblings; especially when they are power and control hungry. Melania knew this when she married Donald Trump and sure she loves him but it's not an easy road by any means. She has no choice to but accept Ivanka and try to get along with her since she is Trump's child, she will always be in Donald Trump's life whether Melania is or not. Ivanka and Melania both need to respect each other's roles in Trump's life and both try to be civil with one another which they appear to do. Melania will never be Ivanka's mother but she can be a friend to her and they can support one another.

That is always and a constant situation that later wives would consistently have to bear and endure and may become a point of contention from time to time with the children of the previous marriages. So, Melania has to grin, sigh and bear it being the third wife. Trump's and Ivana's DNAs are imprinted and run in Ivanka's blood whereas Melania's has none of that.

Kudos to Milania for not having to be in the spotlight and being content with being involved with the raising of her son. I have a lot of respect for that.
