Girl same! Who has a spare $500 plus spare to buy a new machine these days? Not me! This video fixed my machine. I was so upset thinking “how am I going to afford a new machine” but it was just the filter. I could t understand the directions either, I needed to be shown. This video is everything
Awesome thanku so much....my clothes got stuck in the hostel....would have taken days for the customer care guy ti respond....did it my self in 10 minutes ..now it's working again 🤗🤗😍😍😍
Drain hose trickles instead of draining quickly like it used to. Guessing the hose or something else internal got clogged. Any good remedies to clear a slow drain hose? If I unscrew the cap, a lot of water comes out and since it's so low to the ground, it's impossible to put any sort of bin in front to catch the water. Using a rag takes forever to mop. Such a pain! I will be switching back to the conventional style front loader soon.
I'm curious how you got the water from the drain (not the hose) when it is lower than the pan you were using? Also, with the drain so far back of the front and having holes between itself and the pan you've chosen, how does the water not spill?
I just have tons of water coming out of mine and it’s too low to the ground to place any size bucket ?? My kitchen is fairly flooded and tons of water in my washer still 🤔
I just purchased a condo, where the laundry machines are in a closet. The closet has a really bad smell, could it be because this filter was never cleaned?
@idkwtnt5289 If you haven't unscrewed that cap in a long time it can be difficult to remove. If you feel comfortable, you can try using channel lock pliers and put a towel over the notch that sticks out of the cap, but doing this can cause damage to that cap so be extremely careful with how much pressure you apply.
My drain tube on the bottom front of my washer no longer drains the water. Water only comes out when I clean my filter. Do you think I pulled my drain tube out too far and disconnected it?
I had the same problem, ran a wire up the hose, unclogged it (lots of sand) but think I poked a hole in the rubber hose, so be careful. Now I need to take apart the washer to replace the rubber hose - not a big deal except for the heavy dryer on top of it...
Daft video. How does this help when you have about 10 litres of water in the drum. Minute you undo that filter it will flood everywhere. Notice they don't show that bit as it can't be done this way at all. Did one today was utter mess and stank. Best way is wet dry vac and a cut down ice cream tub. Cut front down. Slide under machine. Place wet vac hose in tub. Open filter slowly. It will piss out trust me.
@Erin Ruma. Not all washers have this feature. If it doesn't have a pump drain then there isn't anything to worry about. It's mainly found on LG washers. If you purchased your washer from Abt you can always contact our support staff at 800-860-3736 for help. We have lifetime technical support on any products purchased from our store. Thanks for watching!
I absolutely despise front load washers. You have to clean around the rubber part too as well as draining it. Like I want 2 more extras chores to do 1 chore. Not to mention it takes forever to do a load. Terrible invention.
Thank you so much! Single mom here. My Washing machine wouldn't drain and this completely fixed it. You saved me from so much anxiety. ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so so very much. I am a single mother who struggles to understand instructions, I need to be visually shown. Thank you so much
Visual teaching is how everyone learns the best since the beginning of time. Don't let people make you think it's weird. You're doing fine.
@@Gairuntee thank you so much. I appreciate that so much 🦋
Thought I needed to go the launderettes today, turns out was just a clogged filter! Thanks so much for the video!

Happy to help, anusha reddy! Thanks for watching!

Absolutely useless for those with no drain hose since we already know how to empty it onto our floors
Omg yes. Im sick of flooding my laundry
My washer is full off water no drain hose I'm stuck lol
@@N.i.g.h.t.m.a.r.e.z get a Vax or wet hoover to suck it up. This video is totally useless I agree.
Get a cookie sheet with a lip around it and shove it under there!

Same thing happened to me just now, not sure whats wrong
Same here. How long did it take you to fully drain it?
My washer wouldn't drain so I tried this and it's worked 🎉
Wow, makes it worth it just to buy a washing machine with the filter accessible at the front of the unit.
How often should you clear the water from this pump?
Collette McKee I do it once a month. I just did it and forgot to tighten the filter properly and flooded my laundry room. So... do not do that 😂
Do you need to first empty water from the drum?
This completely worked for our front loader. Thanks so much!
Hi Josh and Samantha! That's great. Happy to help. Thanks for watching!
Thank you this helped !
Thank you - brilliant and clear - I learnt something!
Glad to hear it, Stripylady! Happy to help. Thanks for watching!
❤ Thanks alot for the valuable information.
thank you ... the things I found omg....

thank you for the clear instruction, I lost my instruction manual.
Thank you so much! My washing machine is working again, after just clearing the blocked filter drain! (it did not want to spin beforehand)
How you get into pan with the dam flap in the way . Answer me this women
@whitevoodooman7276 You can see at 0:59 how this is done.
I removed the door/flap. It was an accident, but it made things easier and it popped right back on!
Thank You!! :)
That's a simple thing but how do u get to the drain pump? Do u need to tip washer and access through bottom?
I'm currently clogged with sand. If you solved this a year ago. Hopefully the solution wasn't a new washer.
What do I do if the cap won’t unscrew

Doesn’t show the most tricky/messy bit of actually draining via the filter cap. That tub isn’t going to catch it :-)
my drainhose hase gone into machine , how can i get it out

Well I feel stupid. Thanks for the easy video
My machine hose went inside how can I out this
Such a pretty lady 😊

Deborah was surprised to find all of the used condon debris in her front filter. She will need to call the service man, again.
Thx
The drain hose doesn't drain.
My drain hose is clogged with nasty muddy stuff
@LadyHarley You may want to use a small pipe cleaner to try and clear some of it out to get the water flowing.
I did that and my whole bathroom and kitchen flooded. I must have done something wrong 😫
I will do anything that woman says
