      Girl same! Who has a spare $500 plus spare to buy a new machine these days? Not me! This video fixed my machine. I was so upset thinking “how am I going to afford a new machine” but it was just the filter. I could t understand the directions either, I needed to be shown. This video is everything

    Drain hose trickles instead of draining quickly like it used to. Guessing the hose or something else internal got clogged. Any good remedies to clear a slow drain hose? If I unscrew the cap, a lot of water comes out and since it's so low to the ground, it's impossible to put any sort of bin in front to catch the water. Using a rag takes forever to mop. Such a pain! I will be switching back to the conventional style front loader soon.

    I'm curious how you got the water from the drain (not the hose) when it is lower than the pan you were using?
    Also, with the drain so far back of the front and having holes between itself and the pan you've chosen, how does the water not spill?

    What do I do if the cap won’t unscrew

    • @abtelectronics
      @abtelectronics  Před 3 měsíci

      @idkwtnt5289 If you haven't unscrewed that cap in a long time it can be difficult to remove. If you feel comfortable, you can try using channel lock pliers and put a towel over the notch that sticks out of the cap, but doing this can cause damage to that cap so be extremely careful with how much pressure you apply.

    My drain tube on the bottom front of my washer no longer drains the water. Water only comes out when I clean my filter. Do you think I pulled my drain tube out too far and disconnected it?

    • @lancebeden5039
      @lancebeden5039 Před 4 lety +3

      I had the same problem, ran a wire up the hose, unclogged it (lots of sand) but think I poked a hole in the rubber hose, so be careful.
      Now I need to take apart the washer to replace the rubber hose - not a big deal except for the heavy dryer on top of it...

    Daft video. How does this help when you have about 10 litres of water in the drum. Minute you undo that filter it will flood everywhere. Notice they don't show that bit as it can't be done this way at all. Did one today was utter mess and stank. Best way is wet dry vac and a cut down ice cream tub. Cut front down. Slide under machine. Place wet vac hose in tub. Open filter slowly. It will piss out trust me.

      @abtelectronics  Před 3 lety

      @Erin Ruma. Not all washers have this feature. If it doesn't have a pump drain then there isn't anything to worry about. It's mainly found on LG washers. If you purchased your washer from Abt you can always contact our support staff at 800-860-3736 for help. We have lifetime technical support on any products purchased from our store. Thanks for watching!

    I absolutely despise front load washers.
    You have to clean around the rubber part too as well as draining it.
    Like I want 2 more extras chores to do 1 chore.
    Not to mention it takes forever to do a load.
    Terrible invention.
