Sabres fans should be very ecstatic that you got both Sam Reinhart and now Jack Eichel. Sam Reinhart was bar none the smartest player in his draft. While he's not the most dynamic and physically gifted player that will pop out on your TVs, Sam beats you up with his mind. He has an uncanny ability to make everyone around him better. He also makes things look a lot easier because he's always in the right position, to make the right plays without doing all the fancy schmancy stuff. If you watched the World Juniors when Canada won gold, the best line on that team was not McDavid's line, it was Reinhart, Domi, and Duclair. Is it any coincidence that Reinhart centered that line and they happened to be the best line? Nope. Sam and Jack will lead Buffalo to new heights. Get ready.

Hey guys, just got back, how'd this work out? Did we win any cups?
Turned out to be a very good 65-70 pt winger. We really needed him to be that top 6 centre though. As long as they find one asap it won't be the end of the world. Draisaitl would have been nice but that's fine. It panned out. Just glad we didn't take Bennett. The flames should look at it tho like at least we didn't take dal colle. That one was the bust of that draft. A lot of the better players after the top 3 went a little later on in that round.

Draft combine is useless. I mean last year, a guy couldn't even do more then 5 pull ups and I am sure he's a heck of a player. He ended up being a top 5 pick or something
