Judging from the PSP's manifesto along with some of the candidates for the upcoming election, it portrays an objective party worthy of the people's votes. Their approach is non-provocative and practical, which is what Singapore really needs at this point where transparency and accountability is lacking along with policy implementations based on assumptions from an "ignorant level".
PAP ruling is still very necessary for the sustainability and growth of the country, but it's about time to bring real matters / issues that truly resonate with Singaporeans who are on the ground to the Parliament.

Form a coalition as a common front to fight the powerful PAP regime.TCB can be the leader with his wealth of political experience and popularity from Singaporeans.A change of Govt. is long overdue. It is not mission impossible.Malaysians created a political tsunami led by the revered 94 year old politician, Tun Dr. Mahathir.. Nobody expected the BN party to be trounced.

WP has proven they won't form coalition. This GE will be no difference. WP will ensure so won't form a coalition. This will benefit PAP. WELL DONE , WP, a real opposition party that is heavily criticised for its lack lustre timid performance

This can happen only if Singaporeans, young and old must support TCB and his team.Just like Dr. Mahathir, he came out of retirement to save the country. Singaporeans must remove the fear of change if they want a better Singapore. No use grumbling and complaining.Cast your vote of change at the ballot box. There is no other way.Be brave like the Malaysians and the Hong kong protesters fighting for democracy.

Dr Tan and many professionals and captains of industry ( in waiting ) can only do better. Give PSP the chance to prove their performance. People need not fear of a collapse in the economy or life get worst than it is so bad as today. There are ample safety net to keep the giver meant working at status quo. Perhaps a chance of leadership with fresh mandate and prudent ideas and plans may be make life even better. Look at Malaysia, even with a total debunking of the incumbent the economy kept going and was moving in a right direction to quell corruption, inefficiencies and suppression. People became happier.

There’s already a political divide Hsien Yang joins your party. LKY built Singapore to where we are now. My life, job and future are secured and in PAP good hands (too huge to list) and to bet on you, it’s obvious a big NO. Your agenda must be clear and for the good of Singapore, not just to argue, question on what PAP did.

  • @tanjames9849

What IF the opposition rules Singapore?
Will they bring Singapore to a greater height or will Singapore falls into oblivion, abyss & destruction. Criticism is easy. Saying without substances have no value. Is Singapore doing so bad that we need drastic changes? Judged base on intelligent analysis & logic not merely on emotion and anger. Getting a wrong Team to lead Singapore is liken to ‘Out of the frying pan into the fire’ scenario.

How well Mr Tan did for his constituency when he was in PAP and other public social endeavour previously, will reflects how well he can manage Singapore. This applies to any professional figures as well.
Remember one vote for a team not just one person.
I won’t vote for one that I see her/him only once, during voting time. This applies to PAP as well.
I WILL vote for one that’s capable. Oppositions included.
Good to have constructive discussions but don’t quarrel over it and goes overboard.

We need to go back to the basic of a more caring society. Are we going to allow the PAP continue to squeeze the ordinary Singaporeans and bleed us ? Every vote counts and matters. Let's us vote for a better future ! Support the party can truely reflect and represent our voice. A caring, responsible, accountable government. Create better job opportunities for locals and stop emphasizing foreign talents. Yes, we need foreign talents but should not at Singaporeans ! How many of new job created is meant for Singaporeans or more for foreigners ? We want a party for our children and grand children !

Nevertheless, my comment, or in your case, "story", is still readable and "attractive", if you compare it to that "Tall Order" story book.

If PAP still win 60 seats and above. Meaning singaporean like their policy, If not, This time round the PAP should not win the more than 60 seats. Especially this time round, there are so many opposite party. I believe singaporean does not not want to have such high cost living in singapore. They earn million but we singaporean earn?
