A cover and major hit from the 1960's musical "Hair".. which you have done a few covers by others already. This band was a family group which still tours today on the oldies circuit (those left from it that is) The musical was an anti- war statement for it's time. But it spawned some great music..Thanks for another fine reaction..
I went to see the Broadway show Hair in the late 60’s. Great show. There was also the movie Hair in the 70’s it was great

That's a good one, but the best one of theirs is Flower Girl
This song was from a Anti War Musical (and later Movie ) of the late 60's called Hair. It caused quite a bit of controversy due to nudity and profanity. other songs from this were, Aquaries/Let the sun shine by 5th Dimension, Easy to be hard by 3 dog night, Good morning starshine by Oliver (and Strawberry alarm clock) .

The Cowsills got a lot of airplay and several of their songs are on my internal hard drive. I can "listen" to them whenever I want. They had great harmonies and were actually fairly accomplished musicians. John the drummer ended up playing with the Beach Boys. This was intended to be a mild parody of the hippie subculture. I noticed that they never mentioned afros, in style at the time. Now it can be told..the Cowsills were racist! :) Kidding. Not too many rock bands had the balls to have Mom on board
