19:16 My Thoughts On The H6 Flow - Věda a technologie
I’ve been doing builds for decades now and this is probably the best build experience I’ve had in a case. A lot of great engineering went into this one.
I case swapped my build last night and was impressed about how far the case comes apart. It really is great.
How would you rate the airflow and stock fans on it?
@@justevil100same question for you
@@anonymoose2474 It only has the three front fans stock and they run off of a standard motherboard connector for the rgb. My issue with them is that to get the matching fans, they require to be ran off of a USB hub. Airflow is absolutely great. It has the mounting points for 2 140mm on the bottom and up to 3 120mm on the top. I have mine set up 3 120mm front intake, 2 140mm bottom intake, 2 140mm top exhaust, and one 120mm exhaust on the rear.
@@justevil100 yeah the difficulty of connecting fans with this case seems incredibly high for no reason. I'm split between this and the phanteks nv5
I just the other day purchased a HYTE Y60 case and was looking for video reviews and found your channel and have been loving the vids! Keep up the great work!
I have never built a pc before and don’t even have parts yet to build a pc right now but you are a joy to watch and inspire me to build my own! Keep bringing the great content!
I've just actually done a build in one of these two weeks ago.. Very easy to work with for cable management.. So much Airflow...And it looks great if you have it at a Angle/offset display so you get to see all the fans ect...
I'd recommend good quality fan's,it really makes the case alive if you can control your lighting speed/brightness
Actually one of the best cases I've built in a while, especially for the money!!
is the nzxt hub necessary
which fans would you recommend to fill up the case?
@@idkconflict No there's other hubs out there..I've mentioned a idea in a post below for budget stretched.
If you're ok not changing fan colours you can just get one colour and geta cheap connection that goes to your motherboard...1 connection to mono one end and you can have 5 fan's connected the other.. cost about £3
Tried this case myself, couple things to know:
1. The airflow for GPU really is better due to the angle of the side fans.
2. A lot of internal clearance is sacrificed for the side fans' angle, example: top radiator is hard to mount, and doesn't support performance AIOs with thicker radiators.
3. Bottom support for fans is... interesting...
could i mount a deepcool ls720 WH on the top?
The bottom fans seem to make no difference.
@@danijelb.3384 The biggest thing they can effect is positive case pressure (based on smoke tests, but that can of course be changed by adjusting intake/outtake fan curves). With all fan slots filled and all fans running at 100% the case has excellent positive pressure.
Is it possible to insert a 60mm thick radiator + fans on top or in front?
@@singwolf.yes, if not, try to use silent wings pro 4 with removable corners
Got this case for an upcoming build, build quality is superb. Cable management is a solid 8/10. Very similar to the Y60 but offers more functionality which I’m all for.
which mainboard and cpu coooling and which fans do you have? I dont know what to buy
i bought the white version of this case. i love it. the paint job is great and i really love the duel chamber aspect
oh boy....you make it look really good actually. this case has grown on me a abit since release..looks sleek.
Please show more than one game in these build videos. Would like to see how it performs in more than just Starfield
I just built in this case ten days ago and I love it. Very well priced and I also used the same graphics card I the 7800 xt hellhound and it’s a silent beast.
Just purchased a black non RGB one and swapped the fans out for Lian Li ones. Looks awesome so happy with it
so you can buy the non rbg and you can just put different rgb fans, because ill be adding 120 duo fans on them because the defult rbg are ass
@apple2012convas yes absolutely and I flogged the ones that come with it on ebay for a few quid
They was definitely trying to make some money off extra old fans they had in the back 😂
I don't plan on building a pc soon, but watching these video is so satisfying.
I went with the lian li lancool mesh 2 for my own personal rig and it was an amazing case to build in especially with how much space you have to work with without the case being too big (but it is very heavy at 9kg empty) but if I were to build in this there are things that would’ve driven me absolutely insane like the base fans not being daisy chained or how there’s no fan control hub or how you have to open the side panel to remove hard drives
My suggestion to other people when they’re building their new pc has always been the lancool 215 or the 216 and I was kinda hoping for this to change that to have more options
6:46 yes i'm immature, yes this had me rolling on the floor
Hoping you get to review the Montech King 95 soon, most anticipate case for imo in terms of value
thanks for this video i want to get this case but i was not sure about it but now i am
I'd be interested in a build that is souly focused on cooling and performance, would be interesting to play games in 4k absolute max settings with really good thermals.
Oh dude, pair this with Noctua fans, crisp performance, crisp airflow, zero noise, incredible.
I have build one with 2x 140 fans at the bottom and a 360 Kraken Elite on top in combination with the 3 120 in front. Getting very nice temperatures on the cpu as well as gpu. Very easy cablemanagement to.
I want to case swap sooner than later, and this was the case I was considering, great thermals, looks great, currently in an older Corsair Carbide spec-04, great case, but I do like the box glass look of newer cases...GG great vid :)
I build pc's for decades now and the h6 flow is the absolute best case for me. It makes so much fun to build with it. Outstanding case! :)
How good are the stock fans?
@@anonymoose2474 I think the nzxt fans are pretty decent but I have no experience with these fans. I changed them with phanteks d30 :)
Can I ask your opinion on these type cases having the psu behind the cpu area maybe causing more heat to the CPU?
i have the same cpu cooler however mine is the ak620 zero dark, my question is did i install my cooler incorrectly because i have one fan near the ram and not facing the rear of the pc case.
What software did you get for the ram? I’ve heard the Kingston software doesn’t work but I haven’t tried it
One question can I put a GPU holder down there or is there any space for a GPU holder especially for bigger bulkier GPU?
Bought this case at launch in white and it is a stellar case. I have a standard ATX motherboard and the fit is perfect and I think the motherboard you used is E-ATX so a pretty big overhand that no doubt will disrupt some of the airflow from the side fans which are excellent. No issues on the bottom fans as I stuck some Corsairs 140's that I had and it fit my Corsair AIO with the Phanteks T-30's which are thicker fans...Easy to build in, cable management was easy and cooling is great....so is the price!
Can you put an AM4 motherboard for the H6 case?
I feel like USB in the middle somewhere on the side of the front panel would be great for USB location as people put their cases on a desk or on the floor and having it on top or on the bottom would be restrictive in regards to your setup and worse for people with back problems having to bend that far down.
Why aren’t people doing a 7800x3d and 7800xt build😢. Still waiting to see how that build performs
Question: i plan on upgrading to a new motherboard soon, will i have to boot windows again in the bios, and if i do, can i just reuse my current storage devices that already have windows files on it or will i have to overwrite the files when the bios is put in
jumped in to this case from O11 dynamic and i had to remove io panel side fan of my Arctic 360mm aio, because it hits Steel legend MB heat sink. unless that it was a good case when install 2 bottom fans.
im using it right now for my first pc build, it is indeed nice and strangely beautiful 🥰
Hey do I need a different type on psu to fit in a dual chamber case like the h6 flow
i know this might sound stupid but what is the diff between aio and traditional air coolers? like there are some really good ones by deepcool and other brands I'm not knowledgable on this so yah any help would be dope
Had fun building in this case. Go with the cheaper version and this case looks much better in white.
Idk that fan on the bottom of the nv5 and the way the psu shroud thing is angled I kinda hate it. But now the nv9 I believe it is I love that one. But also this h6 flow for me is just spot on. I'm digging it
I like the sticker under the plastic and I leave it on. Case needs 120 mm fan holes for the bottom fans and Grommets over all the open holes. Also like the I/o on the bottom to use on desktop. Keep the Cheap fans and make it $89.00.
i have ryzen 7700 and after running cinebench ig goes straight to 70 degrees? its cooled by corsair aio, how is possible that yours got to 57 only? its great temps?
Bummed to see not much room for radiator set up on front. Big thing I was excited about with this case as i prefer sending heat out the top and don’t wanna run aio lines from the bottom of the case to the cpu on top lol
Funny enough, I literally got home and started building into my brand new H6 Flow when I see this video released. I really like it so far (Annoyed it only takes 140s on the bottom) but no complaints here yet
The bottom fans make no difference thermal wise anyways
Is it 120s on the corner mounts?
@gary444 yes, only 140s on the bottom
I have an Aorus B550 Elite AX V2 board with 2 sticks of Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM. I want to top-mount an Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360mm inside the H6 Flow case. This cooler has a very thick radiator (38mm). Will the fans and radiator hit my board and RAM sticks?
The overlay when testing games is that Afterburner or something else?
Thank you for taking the time to provide a close look at NZXT's H6 Flow. 👍🏻 I'm glad I purchased the Montech King 95 Pro instead (and considering the extra money you had to spend on that pair of 140mm fans, I'm sure I got the better deal overall 😜). The last NZXT chassis I built in was their *H210i,* and (scraped knuckles notwithstanding) I think it's a build that came together rather nicely. I like this little case a lot. Recently however it seems as though NZXT is going the cheap route with their newer cases, and that's clearly demonstrated with the H6 Flow: those atrocious front fans, no rubber grommets, and the lack of an included RGB/PWM hub are clear indications of this. I'm calling it a Money Grab, and NZXT gets a great big, 'Thanks but no thanks' from me.
4:44 KMT, paying extra for the RGB version makes no sense. Just do the regular ones and if you feel to then upgrade to more premium RGB.
Dear Marcus another great video but if you can and want to could you please do a short 5-10 minute video about Frameview please. Download, install and what the numbers and letters mean because I bet some people, myself included, don't know everything about to programme. But don't feel pressured to do so if you don't want to.
I feel like the fart was a very important part of this build.
I got 3 120mm fans where should i put them ? I have the same components except motherboard and cpu
Hey, do you think the Dark Rock Pro 4 would fit on this case?
I wish they would have stayed the same design as H9 but just more compact. I still don't really. love that new angle.
Does that mean I can buy two separate fans for the bottom without a controller and buy the controller separately?
NZXT : Can I copy your homework?
Hyte : Yeah, sure but make sure you make it look a little different.
To be fair I thought the same at first, but it takes an otherwise useless piece of glass and gives it functionality.
Why do people think every dual chamber is a copy of another dual chamber while every "normal" case look almost identical?
@@_jiraffe_ I would say "inspired". When someone introduces us with something unique, others get "inspired". Its like Lian li's O11 dynamic. Lian li first launched it, but now you can find similar looking cases from other brands at different ranges. Even NZXT has one
Can you test the aerocool dryft please it’s a £50 budget case that looks quite aesthetically pleasing
I am going to build my pc in the h6 flow I like it a lot do you might have a good gpu to pair with r5 7600x amd or nvidea new or used or you could give me one
may i ask if front panel is not removable?
wouldn't an exhaust fan at the back, and the top (since there is no AIO) benefit in helping to direct the hot air out of the system and improve the overall air flow? Most H6 builds I've seen have at least one fan at the back and some at the top to move more air in and out.
hi what do you do with all the pc`s you build
I wish NZXT had INCLUDED 3 of there duo ARGB fans, or some reverse fans and a controller at no extra cost! It would have made this case much better!
Case company's should really take note of what Montech is doing, just look at there latest King 95 pro!!!
Hi i thought too checked if the PNY GeForce RTX 4060 8GB Verto Dual Fan is good and work with an intel i7-12700?
I literally just did a white H6 Flow build a couple hours ago lol, I love it, just a heads up tho Lian Li Uni SL-Infinity 140s don’t fit on the bottom, and you’ll have to take the front glass panel off to install a 360mm AIO
Can you do two streams of the fans down the bottom? IE, use as normal fans and not interlock, the the connection goes to the back of the case ?
@@PcCentric i honestly didn’t think of that. I just tried it and after taking the interlock pegs off it slid in perfectly. You’re a genius! Lol
Did you build with nzxt side fans or all Lian Li. I’m thinking about replacing the three here and go all Lian Li
@@danijelb.3384 I went Lian Li but I’m about to get nzxt fans instead, the lian li 140s are too bulky for the bottom spots and won’t fit, I do have 3 that I’ll keep on my AIO but other than I think going nzxt with a nzxt case will be the better option
@@danijelb.3384did u do it? Do they fit cause they are thicker?
please advise what case on 0:22 ?
I noticed you didn’t put any exhaust fans? I just ordered this case and cooler and plan to put 3 exhaust fans at the top and one at the back. Will those actually be needed?
You don't really need that much exhaust. It is typically better to have more intake fans than exhaust fans. Most builds you'll find on youtube usually use something around 3 intake fans and 1 exhaust fan.
I can imagine if you used one of those shift power supplies, that gap at the top of the case would be bloody annoying as you’d see all of those cables sticking up 🤣
you can actually swap the psu and hard drive bay locations so it wouldn't be too bad
They need to make a psu that can also cool the cpu so we don't have that extra block in some random location.
the arctic liquid freeze fits in this case?
I did a gut swap in this case coming from a hyte y40, loved the case, my 2 big negatives is, I had to gently yet firmly push my lian li uni fans into the where the 3 pre installed fans are at, they barely kinda fit, also th bottom 140s, my lian li uni fans didnt fit there because of the notch at the front and back ends, so i had to use some nzxt 140s i had. 7/10 case for the problems i encountered, but still loving it.
You sure ? My lian li 140s fit perfectly. Are you talking about the connecting lugs ? They can be removed by twisting them off. Like I said mine fit absolutely perfectly
@Kentish9494 I have the uni SL INF 140s idk if the spacing is different but the connector part where you daisy chain gets in the way for me with that lip that hangs. And again the 120s are a very very tight fit in the back
@bobby7975 I have the exact same but the V2s so I don't know if they're different but like I said they connect to each other and slot in that bottom slot perfectly. Maybe give them a go ?
Did he not put the cpu cooler on backwards? I feel like the fans are blowing the air back into the case
I’ve just watched this video again as I really enjoy the content… why can’t I like it again? Lol
i wonder what an H8 would look like
Can you do a build with the Montech King 95, please??
also what fps counter do you use
Gosh I want a hyte y60 but this don’t look that bad however, I prefer the hyte y60 aesthetic. GOSH
love the build - the graphics card
I would have put some exhaust fans in
Is be quiet! System Power 10 850 W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply
A good one ??
Daddy will not lie, I was waiting for you to build in this and the montech king 95. You’re the reason why I want that. Cause daddy is king. 😂
I really have to stop looking at case reviews considering I just got my case in haha
me too, i just finished my build with an h7 and now im pissed off i didn't get the h6
@@l5-cs. I got a y60 box sitting under my desk and all the parts ontop. I’m happy with the case choice just so many I want to build in. But I’ve had my eye on Hyte for a while now
your my favorite pc youtuber
can we put a 240 waterr cooling ?
I wish nzxt would make wireless peripherals in 2024.😅
i have a i5 12400f and intel arc a750 and 32gb of ram, which graphics card should i upgrade to, Thanks
i would go for the rtx 3060
@@austinplayz3115 ok thanks
btw if someone plans to use corsair qx fan in that case youll need to cut hole everywhere to be able to plug your fans i just experience it lmao
No lie, I also exclaimed "what?!" when i heard the price!
Make a video on best games & instalation & there sites bro we waiting lot do it please 🔥🔥
Hey when you do get in the new Samsung ultra wide 240hz 49inch monitor in can you please do a detailed review
Can you review thermalright aqua elite 360 mm aio
OMG, i want this case, BUT after your review im thinking... This gap at top of the motherboard, wtf? Why PSU is mounted SO HIGH? 😮 Plus all heat from MB back will heat it up... I dont care E-atx motherboards, so M-ATX will fit very well! The biggest minus for me in this case are NO TINTED WINDOWS (like Corsair 4000/5000D Airflow haves...) 😢, i want tint, really dark like 4000D... 😢
Yo did this ninja just fart 😂😂 6:46
Imma stick with my H9 Flow baby!
Did you do something different to the video quality upload? I ask because it looks better than before. ❤
New lens !
@@PcCentric looks good mate
Is there any channels on the discord page,? Seem just CZcams videos reminders
does the rgb version of this have the controller?
No
i would surrrgest a 360mm iao looks a lot nicwe without a huge square cube to look at
Nice case from NZXT!
This is useful because my pc is next to my window so pc breaths cold air🗿🗿🗿
i am planing on building a pc with ryzen 5 5600x and 3060 12 gb with the h6 flow
is that a good idea
That’s also what I want to know. But instead, the RX 6600.
I’m brand new into PC gaming as of yesterday can anyone steer me with suggestions on games that show off graphics?
Looks very nice hope they stop 🛑 making graphics cards so big or we will have to get a case size of a small garage lol
Soooooo........ you have no exhaust fans....... oversight?
Hello there, how were you able to be as knowledgeable as you in the pc world? As someone who is starting out I'd like to be able to know more without going to the edges of the internet.
I think the CPU fan should face the other way
I was thinking the same but wasn’t too sure… can somebody confirm?
