Japan is perfect for solo travelers......if you're travelling solo, you won't feel out of place wherever you go.....many people in restaurants eat alone....even in popular tourist spots you'll notice some people wandering on their own......this is why many solo travelers (especially women) from Western countries like to go to Japan

I Was in Japan 3 times in the last 6 month (family) and you always have a reason to go back cause there is more than a life time of beautiful places to see.
My brother in law is also a software developer, it has been his dream to work and stay in Japan.

In Japan, majority of the hotels allows you to store or leave your luggage before check-in time. You can also leave your luggage on a locker in the train station (most stations have these)
