Sure curry has some cocky moments, but ive noticed that they're well deserved moments, like when he's on s hot streak, or playing someone that tests him/ talks trash. But he doesn't portray that attitude off the court, which is why he still is a humble guy. Plus you can't deny that he is always a team first guy.
Now when westbrook does any type of dunk or play and hes out here rocking the baby on people but his team loses by 10 to the clippers, and he tries to downplay other people's /players contributions against his team, that's arrogance.

Lack of defense (to the point where a newbie had to push him to get on someone). The slight comments about teammates. The fact that he's pushing for the GOAT title himself. Ask yourself, would a GOAT go that out of his way to recruit? Would they make a scene out of needing help? Or would they keep quiet and humble while striving to get better? Would a true GOAT need to convince people he is GOAT? Would a true GOAT call himself the GOAT? 3) Once again, read my comment. Of course having good teammates is important. Of course there is some recruiting going on. But my comment states lebron makes a SPECTACLE out of it. Jordan did not rely on recruiting like it was a make it or break it situation. With lebron, the last 4 years or so has been all about "where will lebron go?" "who can we get for bron?" "What pieces will lebron try to get next?" We dont get leGM or leCoach jokes with MJ. Furthermore, Lebron is already trying to recruit kawhi and they just got to the finals. Like take it easy lol. Jordan never made it this big of a deal. Other players weren't saying it's toxic to play with Jordan.Theres something admirable and GOATish about someone who stays loyal to a team for a reason. Lebron does not have this on his list of positives whatsoever.
4) Off court antics do matter. What you do off the court definitely affects your impact to the game. Hence why loyalty is admired, being humble, being a leader, having good work ethic. The GOAT of basketball will have a significant impact on the sport and culture of basketball.
5) Regardless, its not just off court antics with lebron. Its not just that lebron didnt play defense. He did it in such a lazy manner. Part of the reason why everyone thought he was going to be great for the lakers was mentorship, being a leader, all important qualities in a GOAT. Is it normal that a sophomore would disrespect an older teammate by pushing and yelling at him, yet alone a leader? Yet alone a GOAT? Can you imagine anyone pushing Kobe, Duncan, Kareem, Magic, hell even low-tier stars, yet alone MJ like that? Dont forget, It takes building up to get to that level of frustration. Not just a one time incident. Its not just lack of defense. I completely understand when Kobe, Duncan, Dirk had to back off a bit because of their age. But the way bron did it was outright lazy. Did Wade or Rose look that lazy on defense? Look at the highlights. He literally just stands around and goes for the occasional block.
6) all in all, when you envision the greatest of all time. When you think about the legends that we tell our kids about. Whoever it is, either in the past, present, or in 300 years, do you really envision that person being Bron? The guy who was slacking on defense and at the same time passive aggressive to his teammates (who are supposed to look up to him). The guy who desperately tries to find different opportunities instead of making the best of what he's got. The guy who called himself GOAT. LeGM.

WHOEVER has the GOAT title, dont you hope they make their team better in this way? Dont you hope they make their teammates better instead of just spot up shooters?
Sure you can make excuses for all these things and point to his relative success. But are these really the traits of a GOAT?
