i bought that MAC loose powder highlight 10 years ago. i still have it LOL. i dont use it, but it is beautifullll. i remember back then, highlight wasnt a thing and i didnt really know how to use it, id just pop it on my cheeks as a blush topper and i always received compliments and people always asked me how i got that glow. its so pretty! im glad they brought it back :D

Andrea Lynn when I stumbled on her channel I literally went back 3 years to see most of them unfortunately I can’t watch all day because duty calls when bfs daughters wake up. She’s very knowledgeable and doesn’t “push” a product on you , it’s all her opinions and from an artist so beautiful and personality so fun I tend to watch her and catch up on previous videos/ tutorials! For me Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter it makes my makeup not necessarily last longer but helps it fade better if that makes sense. But mostly I agree with you with most makeup I guess we all just have a little different taste and skin types:). I cannot wait to try the fair highlight from Natasha!

I’m so happy someone else didn’t like the Hollywood flawless filter!! I have dry skin! And it looks good for like a few hours then it emphasizes texture!! I returned it.

My Tarte Shape Tape is my “new” eye primer. So I still use it but the Too Faced is my every day concealer.
Could you do a video on your favorite neutral/cool eyeshadow palettes and or single eyeshadows.
Becca has a brand new foundation out. Saw it at Sephors today. It is comes in packaging that is very similiar to IT Cosmetics CC+ cream.

I've not bought the CT ff only because I believe it to be a version of NIOD photography fluid 12% - which for me is my personal holy grail (my skin type being combo leaning toward oily with hormonal breakouts).
I mix it with my SPF moisturizer applied over an SPF 50 base, and I experience no breakdown or major 'oil' breakthrough as a whole xx

Hi Mel, had a sleepless night yesterday so imagine me trying to bled my eyeshadow like you do it in your tutorial. I could have sworn you were next guiding my hand and tell me how to do it. Well, my eyeshadow has never been so blended and diffuse 🤣😂😜. Guess I'm to old at 54 for sleepless but not to learn great tips and tricks. Thank you so much for shearing 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

I was glad to hear you say good things about the Lorac Pro; I love those Pro and Mega Pros.
I also like that Too Faced concealer, it really is good stuff even on my 65 yo skin (!!!)

One thing that works for me, to remedy setting spray droplets is taking my (dampened) beauty sponge and lightly tap over my skin to smooth out (or maybe absorb?) the droplets.
I love that trick!! But, these droplets are so big that when I do that, it takes my makeup with it 😖😖😖😖 I have had to just spray the sponge and tap my face with the wet sponge
It’s so strange how differently we view the Lorac Pro 4 palette. It’s pigmented but easy to blend, and I’ve loved the looks I came up with. I’d say it’s on par with my ABH shadows (Modern Renaissance and a few singles).

Hi Mel! Thank you for the update (these are helpful!) I think the word you were looking for with the Bliss mask was "supple" :-D I' m going to be dating myself, but when Bliss started, they were definitely higher end - I think they are going through a rebranding. They also dabbled in make-up and were ahead of the game with skincare. Their cream blushes were phenomenal. Hope they bring them back.

I am normal to dry so can vouch for what you said about the Charlotte Tillbury flawless filter. I love it under my foundation and it doesn’t alter the wear of my makeup. I love the look it gives. Even mixed in. Bummer it doesn’t work for more oily combo skin.

I got the highlighter in Bathe... They had it at the Ulta in Newport CA! I was visiting my daughter and saw it! I got 3 of the 4 JH vault palettes... Used coupons for those so got them for 12. Something each... Ohh that marshmallow mask looks fun!! Love the updates!!! Hugs, Joye

I have to agree on the CT, I loved the concept but found my makeup broke up in my tzone area and that I just looked greasy, not like slayin inner glowing goddess situation.. ugly chicken greaseball nasty! I returned mine 😬.. TF concealer has been my go to and I LOVE IT! I didn’t realize the ST was making me look so dry! Just another Mel-Reccomendation that I’m obessed with! 💁🏼♀️.. Now I cannot wait to get a few of these hourglass shadows and the Mac goodies!!! Eeeek!! 🙆🏼♀️ As always your so fab annnnd I heart your face 😘😘

Loves all your videos! I love the born this way concealer I'll use it underneath my foundation and I bought all my primer and moisturizer on then..I put my double wear on ..then I go in with the shape tape under my eye and nose area and set with LM powder. I noticed the shape tape I cant use on my chin and forehead it clings to dry patches and cakes up..so I like to use the too faced one for forehead lines and redness if I need it. I like both lol!
