Love the video! At AVC we don't get into surgery until next semester. It's interesting to see the different curriculums between vet schools.
I've always wondered how different other vet schools were compared to OVC! Hopefully online learning has been going well for you!!

How you be in lifestyle like do you go to work unknow time, can you have kids, give married, and go church on Wednesday & Sunday or be full time vet and all that or you have to put all your time in this career for becoming Bio/Vet degree with a focus in large animal studies?
You can definitely have a life outside of vet school/being a vet! You just have to prioritize those things in your life 😊 if you want a work life balance, you do what you need to do to make that happen!
If your husband ask you be with he and your kids more. Will you give angry or you understand?
Like he really miss you and lately you guys don’t real hang out and he start to think you have no time for they.

lol i appreciated the gowning practice. I had my first experience a month ago when I got to scrub in at the shelter. I felt like a complete train wreck trying not to touch anything while the doctor was standing there watching me 🙈😆

I know this might be a personal question, but how do you balance finances and vet school? Im in undergrad and i have a part time job and im struggling to balance the time management. Basically how do you live and survive and go to vet school 😂😭 btw your channel is great
Thanks so much!! And not a personal question, don't worry! I've been very lucky and I've had help from my parents but basically the money I earn over the summer is what I use toward living and then students loans are my best friend haha! I give you so much credit for working during undergrad, you've got this 👏🏻
Did you have to do a four year college first then apply to vet school?
At OVC you can get accepted after completing 3 years of and undergraduate degree but it might vary between school!
how much chemistry do you use? like just straight chem not biochem
Basically none at all!! Even the biochemistry we use is pretty minimal!
I'm 14 and I really want to be a vet except im not the best at Science and the Internet says you should get full marks in Biology. Will this stop me from being a vet or Do you study Science in the corse? Thanks xx

So I have two kittens which are 6 month old. Sooo... They are brother and sister... And they Paired and ummm... Can mycat be pregnant? Pls I need help...!!!!
Hey! From what I've learned, cats can technically get pregnant as early as 4 months old, so there is a chance. I would take her to the vet so they can do a more complete/in depth physical exam to give you a more definitive answer!
What age should I really start taking grades and studying super seriously? I'm 12 and in the 6th grade, and I basically just study different things. So yea hehehe
I started taking studying/grades more seriously in high school! Even though high school grades don't count toward a veterinary application, I found taking them seriously in high school set me up well for studying in university where grades actually matter!
extracurriculars, volunteer hours, gpa/grades-can u tell me what u did for these things? i love ur videos rn im 14 and i want to be a vet i would love to know some classes i should take, extracurriculars, volunteer hours, and how good my grades should be. im a freshman in hs and i would rlly appreciate advice love ur videos !

Extracurriculars: I participated in my universities open house at the dog show, I rode horses, and coached a high school sports team.
Volunteer Hours: I volunteered at a couple vet clinics during high school and undergrad
Grades: don't worry to much about high school grades (you really just need the grades to get into the undergrad program you want but they wont count for your vet school application!), for University my average was just under a 90% for my pre-requisite courses and my last 2 full-time semesters
