What would you have done if you were waiting for the spot? How would you have handled it?
If I was waiting 30 minutes for a parking spot, I would seriously reconsider my life choices.
I'm pretty sure they would be coming back to a vehicle with flat tires and smashed windows.
I'm not saying that's what I would, but I'm pretty sure that's what would eventually happen.
They are def playing with fire
That's what a friend of mine's mother did. She smashed every window on the car and let the air out of two tires, one on both sides of the car. She's a native New Yorker.

This happened to an acquaintance. He returned to the vehicle early in the morning and pulled the transaxle plug. He also captured the oil in a jug leaving no evidence.
If what we think happened really occurred, that was an expensive parking spot. & it wasn’t in NY

I’m a firm believer in big vehicles n 4wd!! IdA took the charge n PUSHED BITH OUTTA MY WAY!! Try that in a small town!
if there’s very little to no street parking i go to a parking garage. when i was in Deep Elum (Dallas) in April it was PG every time. i doubt that i would have a vehicle if i lived n NYC.
I agree. I would rather pay for the convenience and avoid stress and conflict to save a few bucks.

At the end of a day like this.. its all about how far anyone that got "Slighted" by this childish behavior... would seek retribution for time wasted? The VAN is parked.. what happens next is the REAL question?(and we'll all probably NEVER know this answer) As for me.. each day IM real happy that i DONT drive.

Send in the video to police. Several moving violations blocking other lanes of traffic for one.
NYC Police will not take action against rude people based on a video submitted, and will not write a ticket for something they did not personally witness. The only option may be to unblur the plate and shame them on the internet. Good luck with that....
Welcome to New York City!!! This is the norm for NYC …. This has happened more than once!!! The owner who “stole” the spot should not be shocked if someone didn’t let the air out of their tires …. It had happened!! Not saying it was right …….. Love Your Page !!!!!!
