What's up legends! What are your thoughts on the "most likely" round 1 weapons the Chiefs could draft? Let me know!!
Well defense like DT newton from illinois
Iâd say Xavier worthy đ?
Ladd mcconkey
I really want AD Mitchell but I donât think heâll be there so realistically Iâd go for Ladd Maconky or Xavier Legget. Iâd also be over the moon if they trade up for Brian Thomas junior or maybe even higher for Brock bowers but I donât think Veach will do either of those last two
â@@geraldperezhe's not dropping that far, but would love to have him.
Definitely Xavier Legette with Hollywood, Rice and Kelce thatâs scare
I think we try to get AD in the 1st or a tackle, then trade up in the 2nd to get Legette. DK Metcalf 2.0 but smoother
AD Mitchell would be a nice pick in my opinion. Speedy young guy
I'm with you on that. Just seems like a good fit
He's a bust...do not draft AD Mitchell
@@mikesanders4362youâre a whole casual if you think AD Mitchell is a bust
I think he's a bust with all my heart...and that was before I heard his comment that he runs all of his routes at 70% effort to save himself...straight from his mouth. He has talent, but too many red flags when there are better options
Also itâs just came out ad Mitchell had type 1 diabetes and thatâs rough when you monitor it also the report says he doesnât take care of it
Getting picked 1st by the chiefs at 32 is better than actually being the number one spot! Its like winning the football lottery!
Yup, just make sure you work on the correct kind of speed in the offseason!
Compensation wise âNoâ
Uh no
Hollywood looking CLEAN!!
Im glad rice is back out there working out with the guys keep his mind off the situation đȘđżđ«Ą
Keon Coleman - I see him has a potential Red Zone threat!
I just know how much success we had with Juju, and see Keon Coleman as someone who could click with Mahomes in the same way
Although - I was wanting him *bad* when he hadn't went to the NFL combine - before that, he had a reported 4.4 40 and 45 inch vertical, and in reality, he had a 4.61 and 38... I still think he's a beast, though. Just watch his film, and you'll see his game speed.
Coleman is Ceedee lambs cousin let the cowgirls draft him he can separate run routes or get open
The guy caught 10 out of 30 passes that were 50/50 balls lol thatâs 33% in college in the 3rd best conference he canât separate or run routes either. Hard pass for me.
Keon has amazing hands, awesome acceleration, and I think he could a hybrid WR/TE type player with Kelceâs help (red zone, contested catch) killer
trading up for brian thomas jr for sure he is such an amazing player and the chiefs would make him an elite wide receiver
Shades of JJ
@@imonyourside8376what? Lol not even close to JJ in play style or skill set. Heâs like a Plaxico Burress tall long speedy deep threat.
@@imonyourside8376actually play style wise heâs more like a Randy Moss.
Big bust
@@123shoshan hell no , brain thomas going to be a top 10 wide receiver soon 100% i put money on it
Keon Coleman
33% catch rate on 50/50 balls, canât run routes or separate, ran a 4.61 40âŠHARD pass.
Xavier Legette and Malik Washington make a lot sense for us #three peat đ
Xavier Worthy makes more sense
Gimme Kool-Aid at #32...
Would love to keep an airtight secondary. Losing LJ is a massive hit that people don't realize
Yes kool aid the guy who couldnât stop Ad Mitchell
â@123shoshan
At the time, maybe...
Don't forget Snead was a 3rd round pick.
Offense has the advantage, especially in college.
But Kool-Aid is extremely talented, just inexperienced. Our coaches will turn him into a beast.
Worthy, Koolaid, mcconkey any of these guys should make Veach happy đ
Replace Worthy with Legette
I'd rather see Adonai Mitchell over Worthy, Brown and Worthy are too similar of targets.
@@darkcsider1732 I can get behind Legette. I like Adonai Mitchell too over Worth.
Hollywood/Kool-aid. đ I like it!
I like Polk from the huskies
I would hope they would go OT, specifically LT if one slips through. For a WR I like a guy like Ladd McConkey who should be the best fit left at 32. A smart, polished, quick, route runner. He can get great separation, has consistent speed and can catch in a crowd. He would really compliment and pull heat from Kelcy. The Chiefs have evolved into a team which spends 98% of offense slowly methodically moving the ball down the field eating the clock just moving the chains. They rely primarily on Andy's creative play calling and great execution. The NFL, Networks and Gambling corporations favor this type of play which almost always winds up inside the spread, close and exciting. Fast scores and runaway games are not profitable. I don't see more than 1 or 2 really deep passes a game so don't waste a top pick on a long ball WR. Just bring back Hardman after the draft or grab a small fast WR in later rounds.
Yes.
Watching this while the power is out. Letâs go Lees Summit! đ
Oh no mine was out 4 days a week ago! I hope you get yours soon!!!
Iâm guessing Pleasant Hills might be out too then, what happened
It was crazy windy yesterday, thought it was just mostly rain today
I lost power for a week a couple of years ago and I've had a generator ever since.
Wind? That stinks! Hope it's restored soon
In veach we trust!!!!
HBTC!!!!!!!
Ladd mkonkey, Xavier worthy, Adonai mitchel, Xavier legette or Keon Coleman
I like big man...T Suamaiataia or DT Newton. Corley from Western Kentucky will be there at 64.
The Chiefs mostly get players that have no recognition in sports media and then turn them into stars
Hey Cole can you do a break down on what every teams needs and mostly likely pick up during the draft. I know we need another WR but the left tackle is still not a lock yet. This way we can at least have an idea what the front office could be targeting that is if they donât move up the draft.
Thatâs a good idea!
If all 3 have a 55% chance of being available at pick 32 that means it's almost a certainty that one of them will be available.
Yeah maybe so!
Legette is by far the best prospect out of the available group
I want Legette!!
Legette
I love Polk. He catches EVERYTHING, and everyone knows we need wrs who can catch.
He doesnât catch everything I think he went one or two game of not catching anything that was thrown to him
@@user-nu3pj1nn6e obviously no one catches EVERYTHING. I was simply saying he's great at tracking the ball and he also has massive hands.
I personally would like a cornerback in the first I donât think Joshua Williams is ready yet, would not be mad if grabbed McConkey there but Coleman and Xavier only in the second
I hope the Chiefs pick Worthy with their 1st round pick and I think heâll still be there since most other teams who need a WR will want to get a bunch of the other ones.
I'll be shocked if Mitchell is there at 32. People are blinded by Worthy's speed, but Mitchell's route running is fantastic.
Agreed not to mention AD ran a 4.34 at 6,2 205 lbs. doubt he makes it past the mid 20âs
What about when a.d completely gives up on plays and jogs
@@ROUGHNECKACTUAL all the Texas receivers did that check the tape. The Texas offense only required the QB to read one side of the field mostly so the players on the opposite side were clearly encouraged to run half speed to conserve energy. I donât like it but thatâs a Texas problem not a AD problem. It shows up on tape for Worthy, Whittington, and even the TE Sanders tape.
I donât think AD had that issue at Georgia but canât confirm that without checking.
Game over !!!
Whatâs good
Think we should go after one of these Good left tackles early. There are a lot of WRs I like in 2-4
Legette is legit
Well depending on whats available for KC at 32 maybe they trade back and get an extra 2nd and 3rd.
Chiefs draft gold in those rounds as of recently.
Iâm offended that my dawg Roman Wilson isnât in the mix as a wide receiver option. Heâs a very versatile and fast running receiver donât sleep on him
I honestly really like Keon Coleman. If we can get one of those higher projected WRs and him with the second pick that would be solid as heck
Still need to get a D. Left Tackle, but, failing that take Rakestraw. Go Mizzou!!!
Offensive tackle. Round 1. Receiver prospects is deep in this draft
I really hope that AD Mitchell is there. Been at the top of my draft board for the Chiefs for a while. Legette is a close 2nd. Both have tremendous upside. With the possibility of a Rice suspension, they desperately need a big body receiver.
Polk and McMillian are the top of the second tier wrs.
Edgerrin Cooper LB
Braden Fiske DT
Brenden Rice WR
Jordan Morgan OT
Max Melton CB
Renardo Green CB
Xavier Worthy running a 4.21 made his draft stock way higher, but Iâd really like him or Kool Aid McKinstry
Ladd is injured this past season sound like we would be dragging damaged goods
Hey cole @hbtCHIEFS have you had a chance to check out the pair of WR from UCF could be sneaky good pick up round 2-4
AD Mitchell would be great to get him if he falls but if not, im good with Keon Coleman, Xavier Worthy or Xavier Leggett in that order đŻ
I like AD Mitchell, tall receiver that can stretch the field with his 4.35 speed. I say trade up into the 20s to get him.
I think Keon Coleman would be a real red zone threat. That was one of the biggest problems KC had this year. Getting right up to the goal line and only getting 3.
A QB that started as a pitcher and a WR that started as a basketball player just sounds like a nightmare for goal line defenses.
I'm surprised ot is not up there but I guess it's because it's not flashy. Save for ad and, maybe, legette, I think chiefs should prioritize ot over any other position right now. Surprised cb is up there, but this isn't a strong defensive draft anyway and the chiefs have developed late round corners consistently. I don't think they should take one in r1 with the quality of this draft at other positions. Finally, the idea of trading has been floated quite a bit, but I think it's better to stay put given the need for depth at so many positions right now and the amount of impact players on the team right now who are nearing the end of their rookie contracts. There will be some sad farewells incoming, and it's better to have young players on rookies deals who will have learned the system already.
Iâd be happy to see them trade back out of No. 32 and take one of those âreachâ WR options a few picks later, but with an extra pick in their pocket
I think we need to draft LT in the first round, Guyton would be perfect or Suamataia, then in the 2nd round we should trade up a little bit and select the best WR available
I say round 1 reciever because of the potential rice suspension then a tackle in round 2.. to create competition with Wayne... DT 3rd round and potential DB HELP IN 4TH 5TH ROUND.... I hope they use next year's pick they got for Sneed to package w this year's first round to move up and get another potential starting reciever but it all depends on how much faith they have in toney and skyy they could just go tackle or DB in the first round... One thing I do know though is that we will 3 peat and make history...the only question is can we build enough depth to go 14-0 lock up home field and then let Carson wentz win out and finish the perfect regular season with Mahomes coming back during the playoffs and setting more records...the jets will play us at Arrowhead for the AFC title after we bounce the Texans again... Whomever shows up in the Superbowl for the NFC hopefully it's the lions so we can avenge our banner raising season opener last yr...49ers are cooked the rams are back Seattle is no slouch and will spoil the niners chance of winning that division.... If the Packers make it we will avenge last year's flukie loss at lambeau.,. Same goes for the cowboys if they make it... The simple fact is we have Mahomes Jones Kelce Bolton Reid Butler and 50 other guys who want to be immortalized in NFL history... There's nothing in the NFL that's going to stop the fate train.... It's our time... We got one for Lenny got one for D.T. and Mrs Hunt ... This one's for the city... And all the years everyone in the league mocked us and treated us like little brother...those days are long gone.,. Chiefs kingdom is iconic ... Can't wait to see the joka and skyy balling out next yr...kt running punts back is a scary sight
Man even the announcers call him spagnolia seasoned analysts call him spagnolia I don't know whyđđ
I would love Leggette! He could be a freak! I would love for him and Ennis to be there but there would have to be some trading for that.
Iâm excited for the draft. I always spend every year, getting excited about who they might get. Then they end up picking someone else. I donât want to get let down again. Ill just wait and see who they pick.
Ricky Pierce is a sign of a good pick up for the chiefs
back issues are a red flag, they usually always return, no mcclonkey
Thinking we trade back in the first, then up in 2nd.
Yo
I don't think the chiefs need to pick a receiver in the first round this draft is loaded with good receiver, they can find good receivers in the later rounds, they just need to scout well, the top rookie receiver last year was a 5 rounder.
Xavier Leggette over Keon Coleman or even Xavier Worthy at pick 32 if AD is not there. If we draft Kool-Aid or the other CB at 32, or even a LT like Kingsley Suamatai, then get Polk in the 2nd round at pick 64 or even if you have to trade up a bit in the 2nd.
I like McConkey best solid route guy
You keep saying they need to move up in the second round. But the reality is they're gonna collect an extra pick by dropping back out of the first round rather than taking any of those at 32. There will be at least one team like the Titans were last year. Wanting to move app to 32 in order to get the fifth year option on a quarterback. As long as they don't drop back more than 10 spots, they probably can get one of those 2 guys still if they want them and pick up an extra draft pick. That was what Veach said last year, after the draft. The only reason they picked at 32 was because they couldn't get any closer than 40 I think it was last year. It will be harder for them to move up in the first round. You have to have a trade partner. So unless they can get Dallas, the Eagles or the Cardinals to trade. I don't think the rest are gonna trade with them without a "premium" aka we give up mire than the real value of the trade... just my $0.02
My mock draft I some how got this morning I got ad Mitchell at 32 and Xavier Legette at 64. Thereâs no way the board falls like that in real life but that would be the best chiefs draft ever
That would be insane lol
Ladd for the win at pick 32!
Worthy better
AD Mitchell or Ladd I think would be ideal
The chiefs need either Kool-aid or Quinyon Mitchell
I want Xavier worthy
Character issues, back issues ,small AF ?
I'd say no to all 3
Thankfully not cal;ling the incident Rashee was in involved in Texas a Accident!
We should try to get koolaid at 32 and trade up for legette in the 2 round
I think the cat from FSU would be good
Ladd is the same thing they said about the guy from Colts number #14. He was supposed to be a number 1.
CB, but more likely a WR. But I think they may hit us with another OT more than likely.
I like the moves I see of Hollywood Brown on video. Paired with KT, they could confuse the heck outa any DB crew, opening up 87. Iâm down.
I realize my comment was impertinent to your ask, sry. Just excited about our ballers. Also looking forward to new, rugby-inspired O and S game plans. In the draft, I trust Brett et al. to know way better than my two cents. Go, Chiefs!!! â€â€â€
Grabbing a corner at 32 would be really dumb. We already have mcduffie, no team needs two all pro corners. Even without sneed our defense can still be rank 1. Offense first no matter what. Hollywood cant fix it all on his own, especially without rashee for a few games.
Personally, Iâll take any of these guys so thereâs not one that I like more than the other
Trade up for a left tackle---all receivers are good with Mahomes
Legette all DAY!
Every day!
Definitely!!
I think he will be the steal of the draft.
Next DK Metcalf
I like Mitchell best. Or Legette!
Iâd rather take a tackle in the 1st or IOL
kool aid or worthy since we missed out on j. williams last year
No trading up... It costs too much in picks and we only have seven of them
I can see Xavier Legett being the pick because i think the Chiefs will have around 22-25 First round grades this and if they are all gone they Are picking the guys they Like the Most
They 9.99 Relativ Atlethic Score and the weaknesses all Scream DK Metcalf to me who bacisly had the Same coming out of College
Pray for #19 KT, that he gets his head on straight!! Just imagine if we took Worthy #32?? Rice, Hollywood, Worthy, Toney c'mon man!!! Legion of Zoom 2.0
Wow... I thought Chiefs would draft an offensive lineman and the betting odds do not think that is a reasonable guess. Tyler Guyton and Jackson Powers-Johnson are at least on the list. Betting odds make it seem more likely the Chiefs would take a QB than a lineman. With first round pick.
Blindside!!!
Worthy at 32 Coleman or lagget at 64 or move up.
worthy or
lagette
With Rice likely missing significant time and Sky Moore looking like a bust, i don't think the Chiefs can afford to pass on a receiver at 32 even if whoever they pick might be a bit of a reach. With the target on their back I doubt they'll be able to trade up in the 2nd unless they pay a heavy price to do it.
Has Tyreek Hill not shown people that someone with exceptional speed can be "undersized" and still an elite receiver?
remember Dante Hall? lol
I still don't think the Chiefs take a DB at #32.
there is no way that Ladd McConkey is taken before 32 45% of the time, hes barely a top 10 WR in this draft class
Ladd McConkey
I'm no expert but there looks to be better options than Polk in this draft....
Ladd is the choice he runs a 4.41 he out played AD Mitchell at Ga and he runs perfect routes mahomes would make him look like a wr like an all pro!!!!
KC needs to trade up to get a true BEAST at LT. If Mahomes actually has time in the pocket, even guys like Hardman and Moore can produce. Assuming Rice can play half a. season, KC can get just one more solid WR and skip drafting one. Next season they can draft TE and WR. I honestly think LT is their only true weakness. I know their WRs are sub par, but Mahomes makes them better.
Pronounced Ennis like the city in Texas.
I like AD and keon fr at wr
trade with the Titans. Give them back their #5 pick next year our first and hopefully no more than a 3rd and 4th this year. Move up and get Brock Bower or John Alt Jr. Torn between which is more important
I'll go with the 5th graders :)
Ladd
What about an OT?
