That looked like a fantastic burger. I love how they didn't skimp on the meat and didn't overcharge you. Burgers are my favorite food and these make me want to take a trip to Tennessee! :)

How cool is that! Interesting back story. Those landlords sound like spoiled children; I wonder what their version of the story is. Regardless, if you can't spell or have good grammar it's hard to believe they'd be good at running a business. Yet they own that strip. Whatever, glad the burgers rocked. Looked really juicy and not over cooked. I just can't do 1/2 pound, though lol. I'm making burgers today, this was well timed :) Thanks for another fun one, Jack & Jack Jr

Great start to Burger Wars Jack and Jr. That is nice how the landlords business failed and there's stayed open. I agree Jack those burgers looked bigger than 1/2 lbs. I wish they had a "mom and papa" hamburger joint like that in my area. In my area it's big fast food or smaller fast food burger joints no real family burger joints like this. Again great burger ware review guys.

Your kid rocks! IMO he eats his burgers the right way round. As a cook I know a burger is constructed to be eaten in a certain way. The cheese is on the top so that you get a taste of the burger on your palate before the cheese. Salad items are placed in a certain way along with the pickles and sauces to give affect to the different explosions of flavor in a particular order. It kind of hurts my chef heart to see you always eating the burgers upside down.
You still better do this for your super bowl episode.

Wow, hope those landlords get what's coming to them. I honestly don't get it, maybe having them at the other end was bringing more business for the strip mall? Still, that is nuts the landlords would do that. With all that said, I kinda want to visit TN now for all this good food.
Sounds like the landlord doesn't own that end of the strip mall so he got mad when they moved and he lost his rent from them. Of course there are always two sides to every story but considering it was the landlord and not a co-owner that tried to steal their business, I'm more apt to believe the kids side completely. I'm glad he did not succeed, I can't imagine he had very many fans when they saw what he did. I know I certainly would have never ate there. Now the original place looks awesome, that burger was so yummy looking, I will have to make a road trip lol
