I know jackshit about cutting hair, but I'd assume cutting it in a straight line in a bunch would look terrible because the hair isn't all in the same exact spot, correct me if I'm wrong
You cut at a angle, you have layers and such then you cut in a line, it's not even and looks horrible.

Daz always makes my day better. Today hasn’t been the bast and I ended it in the best way possible, by watching this video.
I'm not a professional hairdresser, but I often cut my hair by myself since I sort of get uncomfortable in hair salons. I noticed that most of those girls use a pair of dull scissors one of them even used kitchen scissors , no wonder the cut is all jagged up, at least get yourself a decent pair it's not that expensive.
Professional hairdressing scissors are expensive. I'm a qualified stylist and mine are like $1200 a pair.
@@nataliemcknight4264 You don't need an extravagant pair of scissors for casual home hair-cutting, like Hiba said, get a decent pair and those are very much affordable, bought mine for about $ 20.They are far from perfect but miles better than paper-or kitchen scissors, like several of these girls were using.

Dude I cut my hair all the time, short too. My hair grows super fast so I just put it in sections and snip it off. Then I spend a good two hours evening it out. Last time I gave myself an undercut. Looked like shit for two weeks but now my hair is in probably the favourite haircut I've ever had. Hair stylists ALWAYS give me a feminine cut, when I just want messy short hair. I always walk out looking like a sims 2 character so I just decided to deal with it on my own. I am defenitely crazy tho
