    Personally, I think it really funny that an experienced athlete like Mathew doesn`t feel ready to be an online coach and every unexperienced Fitness CZcamsr present himself as an coach. I respect the fact that he want to build up a huge knowledge of the sport before selling it. There are many Bro Science Professors selling their shitty plans for much money...

    Great interview! I’d love to see the guy back on again. I love how through his experience and research into exercise science how he’s combined the two, especially adopting and applying strength training methodologies. Super interesting guy.

    Strong statics athletes do adequate weghited calisthnics
    Maybe not that's much as a streetlifter but the could control their body in an amazing way!!!
    What's calisthenics else than contoling your body I think that's the most important thing👍🏻
    Then comes number of reps or how much your weghited dips...etc!!!

      You think what you think and he thinks what he thinks. He is one of the strongest dipper of our time, his thinking works. No doubt if he wanted to be an overall street athlete he would be less specialized.

    Bar that is adjustable for height, width, and angles, similar to gymnastic parallel bars.

      @@ooooa9046 Sadly I don't know or remember much, since it's all in german, so I didn't bother to remember the company name and instagram page, but you can ask micha schulz on instagram on his posts or dms, since he's the guy that actually reposts on his stories about german fitness/streetlifting companys on his stories. And, he reposted the german company's post about height, width adjustable dip bar on his insta stories, so you can ask him for the insta page od the company.

      195 kg dip is the peak/epitome of drug use and natural talent.
      The top of pretty much all sporting athletes are on gear. Track and field, combat, lifting ..

    I think he's definitely neglecting his genetics by a lot. Strength genetics are not something that you could see on the outside. He's talking about guys with better genetics, but that's not true and is probably based on the outlook of their bodies. The rate of improvement of Mathew's strength over the time it has taken, shows crazy genetics for strength. Considering his age and world records, his strength genetics are less than 1 in a million.

      1)Limiting yourself.
      2) Doing Full ROM Dips with heavy weights and too often.

    I'm in the process of watching the video and haven't seen it all the way through, so please excuse my ignorance. But if he can do a +125 kg pull-up, has he thought about setting a new world record? The current Guinness World Record is from 2016 with +104,55 kg.
    I mean no disrespect with this question; maybe he simply isn't interested in it.

      My personal opinion is that there are a lot of world records who could be beaten easily if someone with not a lot of reach would be able to get the possibility to prove it. But it's quite expensive often times setting a new record with judges etc.

      Guiness records cost hundreds of USD minimum last I checked (i looked into officially beating some myself) and I think to get them to respond within like the same week might be thousands of USD.

    Why would he say statics are not good? Or in Russian doesn't count?just because he do weghited he ignore statics??I think Birmingham the best calisthnics competition it's about statics!!!
    And I thought statics and statics athelets come from eastern eourpe like russia !!!

      He talks about them in regard to weighted calisthenic, not overall spectrum of Calisthenic culture.

      He can planche, he can do almost every Gymnastics Static moves including open hand Iron cross and can pull up straight arm. You should just watch his older videos from his CZcams channel "Matthew Zlat".
