Motown Shuffle Bass Groove

#musicmonday is back y'all!
I think I'm finally starting to figure out my new schedule and working in my own video production into my practice sessions.
This week I put on a drum track in Logic Pro, it just happened to be the first drum groove that came up, says it's a Motown feel, so I went with it. It's got a slight shuffle feel, so after messing with various grooves and patterns I finally landed on a basic shuffle blues pattern, but decided to use a simple I IV I V chord pattern (same pattern as the verse in Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl").
I was mainly working on getting clean string crossings and a nice shuffle groove.
I'm sure many of you know, but shuffle grooves can be really hard to get in time with the right feel to them, so it's always good to pull up a shuffle every-so-often to make sure you've got the feel right.
