  • Talk show hosts who are good at what they do are usually on air for decades. Not many can pull off conducting interviews with some of the biggest stars in the world on a consistent basis. It's definitely a unique talent that not many possess.
It requires the right amount of charm, wit, and warmth to make a celeb feel at ease while keeping a conversation flowing. But when you are constantly interviewing big egos, it's not always going to be smooth sailing.
There are, of course, the usual suspects when it comes to awkward interviews, yet you'll be surprised to see some of these celebs. Let's look at which talk show hosts reveal their worst guests ever.

If a producer is wanting the movie to sell more tickets, please get a different actor to promote it, because Ford is a big turn off.

"You best put some verbs in your answers pretty soon! I'm a mandated reporter and I will be filing a report after the show if things don't change real fast!" Uhh, sorry Dr. Phil, you don't even have a license anymore (as Chris mentions above) and even if you did, there are specific standards you have to fulfill, namely, working with a family/child for far longer than an hour on TV. I believe the minimum is a month of intensive interaction and that seems to be the universal accepted practice in the US.
"I don't ask them why they act this way, I ask, why not!" If I hear him say that one more time, I'm going to put a bullet thru my TV!
Actually, I can handle Dr Phil....in small doses. The biggest problem is, he claims to be a Bible Christian, yet he supports things that are clearly defiant of God's Word. Don't say you are a Christian and then have "psychics" on your show reading people in the audience. Not that I believe any of it, but the Bible is crystal clear on that subject among others he walks the line with and TD Jakes should be ashamed of himself for coming on and promoting such blasphemy. Of course, I don't know how devoted Jakes is to God.

Some people are very good and interesting being interviewed, others not. They are paid a fee to appear on these shows and have opportunity to sit back, relax and tell their story, promote their book, movie or whatever it is they are there for. They should be mindful that a lot of people might be watching and should present themselves well. Unfortunately there are those that simply are brainless, uninteresting, uneducated slobs.
