He is a absolut world class player and McDavid named him many times the BEST (!) player of the world. Hyman is a excellent gal scorer, a top skater and a true teammate. He brings the goal after great plays of the elite guys and he us never dissapointing the crowd. And for all he is a very sympathic sportsman! And you are right, he is a deal for the Oilers! But Hyman shows how bad the leafs offensive guys are - there he didn't know score as well as in edmonton. Canucks got dominated in the third but it was a pretty even first two. Also the only line providing offense is that D & McD line. Canucks have had depth scoring from all over. The line carried them in this must win sure but eventually they'll need contributions from other players. Also I'd be a bit concerned that Pettersson finally scored. He's still not in dominant form but looking more dangerous. Special teams were also a wash tonight at 1 goal each. If Vancouver can continue to stay out of the box and continue to get depth scoring I think that balanced line-up will eventually overcome the dynamic duo. Anyway this series is a long way from over.

Anybody else notice that the big Oaf that scores a weak goal never comes past the Oilers blue line if Deharnais is on ice..... Guess he just likes to crosscheck smaller players..... Vancouver will be a much more dangerous team in G3, because of this loss. Just as EDM picked up their play due to the way they lost G1, VAN will do the same in G3.
Edmonton better be ready to hold off an assault, because I have a feeling, that's what they're going to face, at least through the first period, as VAN will want to take control of the game early.

Doesnt look like that is going to happen though. Played defense the entire game pretty much and that was at home. Now, most likely, they will lose 2 games in Edmonton. I am not seeing how they recover from the eventual 3-1 hole.

One lucky bounce from Cole made a difference in this game ) Skinner SV % = .842 in game 2, game , in game 1 it was = .792 bad and very bad
The Oilers have one good line with McDavid and some good players, and it's not their goalie Skinner 😂or the $9 million Nurse.🤑
    statistics don't lie: overpaid lazy Nurse during regular season had only ( + 3 ) compare to Ekholm ( + 44 ), postseason Nurse ( - 5 ), Ekholm ( + 4 )

Can the Oilers win the Cup with just one line?
After game 2, seems pretty likely if they have any hope.
Canucks weren't the best team offensively this season, and they're missing their best defensive option.
Nothing against Silovs, he won a game he could have lost and almost won the Canucks a game they had no business being in.
But he's not better than Demko and that's the biggest thing Nashville did to wear them down.
Skinner needs to be tested, Oilers need depth scoring, and the Canucks need their defense to just play better.
