    Wtf is this guy talking about "buying oem you have to pay a margin" hahahah You put a $15 Vifa tweeter on a $7500 pair of SCM25As.. and thats $15 RETAIL.. maybe like $7-$10 for them.
    Are they going to transfer that $5 savings onto us??? How nice of them!
    I do love their speakers tho.

      I think he means that if they buy someone else's drivers, they pay their price which the OEM mfg makes a profit, then they have to mark them up again, then their resellers mark them up.
      What he's talking about is either passing on some savings or getting a higher performance product.
      With these types of products. The MSRP has the reseller's mark up, the distributor/importer mark up, the mfg. mark up. Think of it this way. If the speaker has an MSRP of $1000, it probably costs them $100 in parts, maybe a little extra in labor, and then it's marked up several times. So, a $5 increase in parts cost and translate into a $50 MSRP increase. It all adds up.
