it's refreshing to watch someone do well-placed dark swarms after watching a few casts where zerg just smashes everything they have into the terran meat grinder without so much as thinking about defilers
Have you ever tried putting Ghost into bunkers. It's wicked powerful! And the range on the ghost is nuts! You can always take them out into the field at any time. If you're playing against Zerg, you put 3 ghost and 1 firebat in the bunker.

Niice. In my opinion, an "optimal bunker" is/would be 2 Ghosts, with sight range obviously.. 1 Firebat, and 1 Marine. And depending on the exact situation, you can change out 1 of the Ghosts for either another Marine, or another Firebat. Actually every unit I name(d) should have every "attack/defense and skill" upgrade(s) they can possibly get for optimal "performance" (duh lol).
If you add a missile turret, and a siege tank and you've got a position that will cost more time and material than it's worth to take. By the time that it is taken it will have, taken more lives than it cost by ten.

Someone needs to let Ramms know about armories, firebats, and an upgrade called the Yamato Cannon.
Battle Cruisers aren't as weak to Scourge as you might think. A single BC on hold position can hold off quite a few scourge because they one shot scourge (without upgrades) and turn on a DIME. I think plague could have applications for wiping out Terran structures quickly since Terran buildings can burn down. It would also be helpful against pesky CCs and production facilities that take off. I wonder why the pros never do it.
This what I do.. This is my life now... Due to COVID-19 I am watching SC replays and I have to say its been just... delightful.. Thank you FP for your posting these with your hilarious commentary. A silver lining for me during this pandemic and has revitalized my interest in sc.

The control and slack jawed response time from the Terran drove me absolutely crazy. Dude was content to let his units just die in swarm. I feel bad for thr SCV'S.. man didn't care at all about his workers. Glad the zerg won.

Awesome sauce. Yea those battle cruisers are huge investments. I like when terran build them when im playing zerg. Basically it kills the resources for what 6 marines and the gas for like almost 2 science vessels. Which i could kill with 6 scourge? Plus theyre super slow and everything the zerg has can out run them except guardians and slowverlords? Please terrans make more bc's!

I feel like the moment it became Gosu was the moment the fourth linked dark swarm went up. Don't think I've seen that. Either that or how little care Sziky took about the BCs. He practically played like they weren't there. He just let the ground swarm roll. Who cares about the sky? Only a few scourge.

Overlords as smart zerg lieutenants commanding assigned to them drones to ultras. And without it, zerg just freeze or go berserk. That would be fun!

Hey, Juan! Been zerg since the game came out in 1998. I chose them for their swarming abilities. Just loved making a bunch of lings and mutas and wiping bases out. :)
@@FalconPaladin Oh wow. For as long as I've been watching you now I'm surprised I didn't know that 'til now lol. That's awesome. And yeah, Zerg seems to "be", or at least "live up to" the motto "the best defense is a good offense", and that's basically what turned me onto them.. At first though when I first started playing in either 1998 or 1999 my race was Terran.. Then Protoss for a bit.. And then random.. Which of course had me play as Zerg quite a bit then too, and then they kinda grew on me and I realized they were actually my fav lol. That's my "road to Zerg" story lol. I still pick random though cuz I really enjoy all the races, and for different reasons (of course lol), but I'd say I still like Zerg a lil more than the others though.
Those were some super money plagues =o A followup would have helped.
So far I learnt from your casts that Terran's way of countering stuff is just going full mech with tanks, goliaths and science vessels. I mean, that combination seems pretty versatile that it can take on everything, that or Terrans are that broken in Broodwar and I never realize it.
Yup, both Protoss and Zerg struggle mightily against a mass tank/goliath/science vessel play from Terran
I wouldn't say broken, but the Siege Tank definitely bends the meta of all Terran matchups around it. You can't build anything that's not directly about killing them as Protoss, you can't build anything that's not directly about holding them back as Zerg, and you pretty much can't build anything else in a Terran mirror.
Nahh, I lift factory vs zerg and go marines and air..In general factory units good vs protoss not that good vs zerg

Plague takes BCs down to 200 hp. It makes sense to repair before it wears off.
I think it's at least like 12 mins for first ultra and drop with hive unless you go 2 lair

Is the medic cure-all spell worth it in these games? It can remove plague. It's a very under used spell.

Not that I know of. I don't think Terran ever makes battlecruisers vs carriers.
Repairing plagued battle cruisers is fine because it doesn't drain their health to 1, unlike Marines which have less than the 280 health plague drains.
