Skilled Worker Visa for international students?! - New UK Immigration Rules 😱

- We have seen recent immigration news and changes for skilled worker visas, especially the new salary requirements starting from 4th April 2024!
In my previous video, I talked a lot about what salary requirements are there for international students applying for a skilled worker visa, I explained new entrant rules and what salary discounts exist for switchers from a student visa/graduate visa to a skilled worker visa.
In this video, I would like to dig deeper and evaluate whether new salary thresholds are realistic and whether international students will have a chance to switch to skilled worker visas either after their degree or after they spend some time on the graduate visa. I hope this video will give you a realistic picture of salary levels and job opportunities in the UK as a graduate.

Hello which exam should i take for skilled worker visa ?Language Cert B1 or IELTS for Life skills general test ? Are the both acceptable??

Hi. If I enroll for a master's degree in September 2024-2025 intake in your university, is it possible that I will not be able to get a two-year graduate visa after graduating?because as you know, this visa under review MAC, and it can be removed or shorther to 6 months?
Yes, we don’t know for certain the future of graduate visa
If I enroll for a master's degree in the September 2024-2025 intake in the UK, my eligibility for the graduate visa would depend on current visa regulations ,or depend on place at the time of my application for the visa? If there are changes to the visa regulations in the future, would they apply to me?.
I have friend coming in September 2024. Will he be count as new entrant in 2025 once he will graduate?

hello darling!my son received a psw after his master's degree in England and works until 2025.12. after that, when will the threshold be for a skilled worker visa?He is a civil engineering
Please check out my previous video, he is most likely to be considered a new entrant, it means that he will need to make at least £30,960 and the 70% of the going rate for this role in the UK

Hi, what if the salary meets for new entrants visa but the working hours are 48 per week? is that fine?
I think that it needs to be pro-rated, you can't just increase the hours to match the salary level, but I am not an immigration advisor

you can get a Skilled Worker Visa from abroad, but the salary threshold could be higher if you are not qualified as a new entrant
