To be fair, some ppl are old, single mothers who work and are hardly home or have health problems that prevent them from doing hard manual labor. My dad has asthma (& other health issues) that prevent him from pushing a mower or doing any strenuous labor. What this man is doing, MORE of us should be doing to help out our neighbors
but I get it it, if they’re just plain lazy it’s understandable to detest it. Either way, he goes above n beyond & does this in his spare time instead of finding fault with ppl, he sincerely wants to help them out and be a blessing. He’s a wonderful example of loving your neighbor in a practical sense. We can take more notes & learn from his beautiful example. 📝

This time I was angered I admit I don’t know the home owners situation, but if they are able to ladders, barrels, trash cans, toys, trash, tools and God knows what else, they could have attempted to pick some of it up or move it. These two beautiful souls took their time, money and energy to help these people. I feel the home owners took advantage of Al and AP. Even kids can pick up an empty bucket and stack up somewhere. That is laziness..not injuries or helplessness. A lot of this yard was just garbage dropped and ignored. I can’t see picking up after adults who won’t help themselves with that! No one is THAT busy..Get up!! You might need yard work help (mow etc..agreed.) But no one has to live in filth and garbage. This is an awful waste of time..cleaning around garbage piles. Why 2 ladders just left open? Why all this junk???

Even sorting and organizing some of the stuff around that house would make it look 100% better. I saw some kids toys, (I think), so such a clean up would make it safer for any children to play in this yard. Good job. Bless you for spreading holiday cheer. I've had a lawn service that does the lawn and edging for over 10 yrs. after the landscape owner gave me, a female, an offer I couldn't refuse after watching me struggle with the edger always getting tangled on the spool. LOL I trim the hedges as needed. But if FL is anything like AZ with snakes, I'd be afraid to mow the grass too. I almost got bitten by a young diamondback just taking the trash out and was in constant striking distance before I found its shedded skin after a couple of months of hearing something slithering in front of me as I walked towards my trashcans at night. It was the object I always felt snagging the bags as I walked through on the sidewalk. I thought it was a lizard. Not sure if that's their case here but I would be extra paranoid one of those snakes slithering around by my feet in tall grass. They love that type of environment with plenty of clutter and tall grass to hide out in. For that reason alone I'd have the grass mowed and debris cleaned up all the time. :) But it still won't keep snakes from being nosey and checking our places out before deciding to move on.

Well done guys. You always do a fabulous job and are a blessing for the people you help not the least the neighbours! My only concern is for your equipment and the unknown hazards that people leave lying around.
Generally speaking, I do understand if people are depressed or have had a tragedy in their lives, that often the last thing they are concerned about is keeping a physical order in their home when their minds are in disorder. Yet if they only realised that even if they want to keep all those 'things', place them to the back corner or a side of the yard. They are a hazard for the kids and an eyesore. If you arrive home to see an orderly front yard at least then there is less chance of drifting back into chaos and one can begin to move forward.
Life lessons and working with people have shown me this.... I am not focusing on this family and this is a general comment as all circumstances are different....I sincerely wish this family well.

It might be a big one like weed the entire flowerbed, or clean out the closet. Or it might be a small one like pull that big weed that I only notice on my way back from the mailbox, or fold the sweaters on that one shelf in the closet. Eventually it will all get done. But every day I accomplish something extra, something that is not part of my usual routine.

Good on you for helping out so many people and their yards! In my experience of being a homeowner who works 60+ hour/wk, I’ve learned that anyone who lets their yard go is out of pure laziness on them. Maintaining a yard is part of being a homeowner and a responsible adult. However I do enjoy your videos and keep up the positive work!

@@debrawilder9551 if you’re a homeowner and your mower broke, wouldn’t you fix it or go buy a new one? If you lost your job, you should be working five times as hard to get a new job, so you can pay your mortgage, feed your family, and maintain your property.
