I fortunately found my calling and truly enjoyed what I did for a living. It is said that if you find your calling you will never work a day in your life but I don’t think I would quite go that far with it.
If a guy can find something he is good at, enjoys and can make a living doing he has been blessed.

I had just finished a John Deere 670 grader transmission around 1999 or 2000. The next job my boss gave me was a BobCat, R&R engine, new long block going in. I asked my boss “Did I piss you off on the grader, this bobcat sucks compared to the grader”.

Being able to see when turning wrenches is a option at best sometimes.
Good to see it up and running on to the next repair.
Job well done Warren and Blake.

Hi. Warren seeing you struggle by yourself a lot, I have an idea suggestion of epoxying or velcro some strong magnets on the back of your crane controller so you don't always have to put it on the ground. Just attach it close to where you can grab it without bending down to reach it.

You must be one wirey son of a gun to get your head and half your upper torso across the top and down behind that engine. No doubt about it, Blake's presence is a force multiplier. Wonderful narrative when a direct view was not possible. Thanks for another episode of "Warren at work".

You should be proud of yourself. Love your videos. Keep up the great work. I’ve learned lots from you. And thank you.

Warn Thank you for all your efforts filming. I have taped some of my own jobs just for a personal record. I am always amazed how difficult it is to have a good image for the video and still get the work done at the same time. Its nice Blake is their with you this winter, You may want to get your old Ford Service truck running for him? Please be safe as you work.

When I managed a fleet of OTR trucks, we had a little trick to keep nuts, bolts, washers in place in blind or hard to get at places. Hot Melt glue gun. We got the smallest, cheapest ones we could find at the dollar store because, being plastic, they constantly got damaged or lost. Works wonders on those one-man jobs where you don't have enough hands or your arms are too short! Got a bolt that needs to come in from the bottom and no way to hold it? Put a big glob of glue on the bolt head, and the washer. Glue the bolt head to the washer and the washer to the hole. Like Mikee used to say, "try it you'll like it".

Warren, you need to start a book and call it "my dream shop" and list everything you would want to have in a shop that you own. You know cool stuff like a covered steam/pressure wash bay, hot tank, gantry crane, open pit, recycle oil heater, exhaust extractor, concrete floor, 40,000 lb four pole lift you know the basics...lol Then your wife will never see you or Blake at home..lol Nice to dream, thanks for the video share, you guys be safe! Cheers!

Hi Warren , in a blind or tight spot cut a channel out the washer, that way you can put the mounting bolt through and the nut on a few threads len bar or lift the engine then slip the washer in let down and dog them up. stay safe.

Lil tip for ya... When I need to clean something really dirty and dont wanna fire up the pressure washer or go thru two cans of brake clean at $10 a pop, I hit it with a handfull of gojo and a scrub brush, wipe it off all off and final with brake clean.

Sometimes engineers get a bad rap when it’s the penny pinchers in corporate that over rule a better design. Sometimes it is just piss poor engineers. Being an automotive mechanic for 30 years I’d have to say that overall Ford does some of the craziest stuff that causes them to be difficult to repair. There are exceptions though. Toyota used to be the most well thought out vehicles as far as repairing them. There are exceptions for them too.
