I absolutely get what Kelly is saying about protecting her peace. I’m will be 2 months tomorrow since I was released from the hospital. I went in with one illness and contracted Covid in the hospital. I spent 2 months in the hospital, almost passed away. While there I realize that I was everything to everybody and it was stressing me out and making me sick. I refuse to do it anymore. Always choose peace for your life because the alternative is not worth it.

How do you start to do that though, because I am also everything to everyone in my family, I don’t really deal with others unless it’s business or in passing, but between my husband and my kids I have been losing my hair (LITERALLY) I can see the changes in myself with not running to the rescue all the time like I was, but I still will step in, taking on their problems and I’d like to get more details on how to completely manage my own business with such detail that I’m left with very little time to interfere in things that they all are more than old enough to handle for themselves. Any advice is welcomed…

I really enjoyed this interview. And I lead with that because I was one of many who admittedly has been stuck on the footage of Kelly’s stank-assed attitude on THAT reality show. BUT. Her articulateness and just the sound of her speaking voice is so BUTTAH!!! Just goes to show, you cannot put unmitigated trust in snapshots of folk, media-wise, as they are always isolated versions of a person that should be solely treated as such. All said, I wish Kelly well. She’s a talent UNDOUBTEDLY. I bless her gifts and pray her continued success in this difficult BUSINESS😘

I LOVED THIS INTERVIEW! ❤ ♥ Luenell did a fantastic job and had good questions/commentary. The fact that she and Kelly are friends added just the right amount of spice to their conversation. I could especially see this when they talked about Kelly's battle with covid and her family. I saw Kelly live once in Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married?" play. Kelly's voice and acting were on point! The live band was AMAZING too! My ex and I were the last to leave so we listened to their whole set.
Yeah Luenell is a natural! She should interview all these older R&B singers and actresses. “Where are they now” type of shit. Kelly Price was good. Wasup wit Brandy? Where is Sisqo these days? Y’all get the picture.

Let me tell y'all something she gave an acapella concert in Cincinnati Ohio where her music died for almost the entire show and once it came back on she said we've already been singing acapella we going to keep doing it she gave an acapella concert that changed my life on how I viewed music musicians singers and everything else it was the best show I ever saw in my life I would pay good money to see her saying anywhere anytime
