My son had died when he was six months old and I was devastated, his 3rd birthday was so hard, I cried from 5 am to 3 pm and something inside said you have to go to a book store , a Christian store and as enter the shop, a book titled “ mammy please don’t cry”. Of course I cried when I saw and bought it and the book had in it how kids celebrate their birthday in heaven and every year I take that book and smile, my son would have been 25 years old now. I thank God I listened to my heart that day because I don’t know what I would have done after I finished crying.
I can't imagine how tremendous the pain you were going through back then, but thank you for sharing your experience. It's so beautiful.

We as humans think in terms of because I grew it or made it it is mine. With the understanding that no one owns another person physically or spiritually and that even your child belongs to only God and was gifted to you even if for a moment to show you something. Gods grace. No matter how short everyone is connected to a lesson reason and or a blessing. As simply as to tell your story and inspire someone else to as big as to develop a resource or organization. To help you or others grow. Amen

The only thing that we should chase is peace, love and understanding.
And in reality love is the one thing we don't have to chase. This is in response to a comment I made earlier.
That's the most inaccurate statement I've ever heard. Pursuing a Life or Chasing a Dream is full of JOY. There's no suffering in any pursuit. It's ridiculous to associate suffering with self exploration and individual growth. :) :)

This makes a whole lot of sense to me today. I don't know if it would have made sense to the generations before us.
I agree with the Buddhist principle that attachment to desire causes suffering, not necessarily chasing dreams that don't belong to us!
Suffering, one could argue, is the driving force or vehicle to pursue change. Eckhart Tolle definitely explains this concept in way that resonates way more!
It's human to dream and have desires. I prefer to believe the Universe is like a generous lover, willing to give you everything you ask for. 🙏💕
True but some people suffer bc if DISOBEDIENCE to God! God wrote many laws that protects our live but people refuse to obey the law bc they walk in the spirit not in the flesh.God is amazing!

I remember waking up on a Sunday and drove to a thrift store with the intention of finding answers to my questions in a random book that I was sure I would find in the good will. I walk in and there it is the anatomy of the spirit by Carolyn I paid $2.99 for it. Found all my answers, that book never left my night stand! I knew I was guided that day 🙏🏻

Thank you for telling me how exactly right to determine if what im doing is my purpose. I left an 8 year career in the academe to follow my love for cooking and started vlogging at the same time. People around me have been telling me why did i exchange a very respected teaching career over managing my own humble kitchen and doing vlogging. Those lines from people sorrounding me makes me question if I am doing my purpose and following my purpose.
But hearing your words and advices of not betraying myself and not hurting myself by doing exactly what I want made me feel comfortable and believe that this is my purpose and im gonna make it great. Thank you for this conversation. My humble kitchen will make it great. My humble youtube channel will be great.

The transition wasn’t as smooth because i thought upon leaving the academe im gonna land a job in hotel/tourism industry because its what i am teaching in college, but the pandemic redirected me in opening my own humble online food business and my youtube channel.
I left teaching in 2018 to become a certified makeup artist.

This takes me back to a time where i thought that someone betraying me was the worse pain id ever felt. Only to connect the dots that id been betraying myself long before that person came into my experience. He served as a mirror to what id been doing to myself. That shift allowed me to heal the parts of me that felt wounded.

Omg. I was listening to this and it occurred to me that I had never read this book Anatomy of the Spirit. When I saw the cover, I realized I had seen the book before. I just went to my bookshelf and there it is. This is my next read.
I broke a wedding engagement at 28 years old two months before the wedding. I decided he wasn't one. He was engaged to someone else 6 months later, I was devastated. I kept talking about the situation in terms of "what happened to me". I wasn't accepting any of this. My intuition was screaming for me to break off the wedding, thank God I did. None of it was supposed to happen to me. Stuff happens to everyone, No one is excluded. Acceptance is the key.
Similar situation. I am truly waiting for this clarity.

I am 92 and relate to everything you are saying, I began to understand that my soul is the real me, here to learn how to become the perfect being it was created to be. I may have come here many times as the earth life is full lessons that apparently are difficult to learn elsewhere in the universe.There are so many ways that my path has creeped up to show me where i was wrong and point me in the right direction. AS you said, when i felt that I would become an ugly human being if I stayed in my marriage, I decided to stop trying to make it work. I have had messages verbally telling what to do, that I really did not want to, but was urged several times to follow the instructions and then great things happened to me. Serendipity is another thing to look for also.When you feel like you are not doing what you should be doing, you will find many things are presented to you in the form of books, classes, something someone said etc that will redirect your path.
Thank you very much for this. My key take away is “We are never on the wrong path, we may make bad decisions and choices but we are never on the wrong path” Trust the holy spirit to guide you as you get up and do the work!

Nothing ever happens by accident sometimes we go through situations that are meant to make us grow - we are given a task by god to show us what we need to work on and learn- then when we start to learn the lesson we are able to get out of the situation by teaching ourselves what we really are made to experience, then we have an opportunity to readjust our lives to something good for our soul . But if we trust our instincts to begin with we can learn the lesson before it happens instead of having to go through the bad experience to learn. Listen to your gut! I really feel god puts us through things to get closer to him. Think about it- when the worst happens we have to learn, grow, and pray!! Through that we become closer to god. ♥️
Everyone is uniquely wonderful and special, in my humble opinion.

My 1st lesson in spirituality was EVERYTHING is devine guidance. there is NO such thing as an accident nor a random occurrence. We receive when we are READY and people come & go in our lives to either learn from or to teach us or both. The teacher shows up when the student is ready.
God is love so how can you not relate God with love. He is more than some force out there holding everything in order.

This so resonates with me. As a small child, It was just me and my mom and she suffered with severe and persistent bipolar disorder and psychosis. My spirit navigated me through each challenge and gave me the love and protection that I yearned for. There is no other love like that love.

I love this. Most of us are not introduced to our intuition as children. We are not introduced to our Light. We are taught that God is someone who resides outside of us, that we are not worthy, and that we must adhere to a dogmatic belief system in order to be accepted by God. Even if that system does not fit us. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we allowed people to be exactly who they are? Encouraged the DIvine within them? Encouraged them to shine their Light?

I think when we tune out our Emotions, we can listen to our intuition and obey! I learned a very expensive lesson from listening to my Emotions, over my intuition. That lesson cost me alot of Money. It will never happen again though. Ladies, when we get out of our feelings, we can get into our faith.

Another way that intuitiveness can be your greatest sorrow is that you can see and feel others suffering.. I have literally sat in my car and wept for those that I’ve felt while out doing errands... my heart broke

It's very worrying how cult-like and 'absolute' the Fans of Oprah mostly are. Not all, yes, but many seem to see her as some sort of divine being? She's a bit too often wrong to be divine though. In fact, she has some very naive, simplistic Views on things and barely seems to do stuff like 'informing yourself'. Is she too cool for reading actual books, also? And that's not even mentioning very disturbing things she said about Men and Woman, that can be debunked by the simpliest of Gender-Studys.

How to connect your soul( without Jesus), Have no judgements( no accountability for your actions or ignorance to the laws of God), no expectations ( no hope for eternal glory) and give up the need to know what happens tomorrow( continuing to walk in spiritual blindness disconnected from Jesus leading to eternal damnation). Oprah and everyone she is connected to is a deceiver. And a high priestess witch. Jesus loves you and died for you and is longing for a relationship with you. Repent and give Him your life today. This woman is spot on. What makes her lessons hard is our own weakness to follow intuitive guidance. It’s like lifting weights; if we only lift what is comfortable we may stay toned but there is no growth. Like the author says, our intuition is our own worst enemy IF we don’t listen to it- it’s trying to protect us but we have to learn to trust it over our own limited understanding.

My parents were killed in a tragic car accident. My mom was killed instantly June 30 and my father died 2 weeks later in a trauma ICU. To say my grief is soul crushing is an understatement but I'm trying to find ways to heal. I miss talking to my Mom. She was my everything.
Never even knew oprah did these soul Sundays. My daughter passed 3 weeks ago and it's been so tough. It's like how why? Watching this definitely has helped in some way.
