I'm old school, im fifty and I've heard all manner of bikes and this is a much more pleasant sound than the normal screaming of an inline 4 metric. To me it is approaching twin powered sportbike sound

i own a gsxr 750 and absolutely love gsxr mungus but my 2011 r1 when ut turns on its like a big block at stand still i got rhe quad exhaust so u can only imagine

The R1 because you’ll actually get to ride it without needing to take it to the mechanic every time you turn it on 😂 the RSV4 is dope but Aprilia really needs to focus on their quality assurance and less on trying to give you every feature that BMW does.

Sounds so purrfect cuz of the staircase set pistons they all fire in order 1234 down the shoot where The gsxr has 1221 and has that scream but I prefer the sound of a fire blade or a bmw s1000rr but I love the power on this bike
They sound different because 3 cylinders fire on the first turn of the crank and only 1 cylinder on the next turn of the crank.

I’d say s1000r, cbr1000rr and the older r1 with the flatplane crank are the best sounding bikes out there sound like f1 engines nothing will ever top that sound
The sound comes from the firing order Yamaha uses with the flat plane crank. I love the r1 but hate the sound. Reminds me of an old farm truck coming down the toad.

Honestly i like the GSXR sound the best even tho I don’t own one. Drove an MT10 a couple of times, stock and tunes and it just doesn’t do it for me. Maybe I need to hop on the R1
