- Pop Culture Breakdown returns TONIGHT as we take down the latest episode of Doctor Who: "BOOM"! We discuss Disney layoffs at Pixar (I guess that whole woke thing is going about as well for Disney as touching grass is for Doctor Who), we review X-Men 97 now that the first season is finished, we will skewer the latest trailer for The Acolyte, and our movie of the week is none other than the James Bond classic "From Russia With Love"! Join us as we break down the pop culture highs and lows of the week!

Mr Moffat of no Fixed hair piece has lost the plot, his wokeness is beyond the pale.
I miss the old James Bond. I have to admit I even miss J.W pepper It wouldn't suprise me that in recent times people would hate him. But he felt like homage to the dukes of Hazard and it was so fun to see him in a car chase with James bond. In fact I miss how fun James Bond use to be.

As to the 2nd Comment, right now I can't remember, what it was about, something between *_The Time Bandits_* and *_The Acolyte_* 🤔...
So for the superchat I did, the writers literally wanted "thoughts and prayers" to be on the same level as, "exterminate". That's actually what they wanted, an article interviewing Moffat. Had him state that they wanted it to be like that. Because he hated how people would use the phrase "thoughts and prayers", feeling like they should rather just do something to help. Like give money and all that jazz. So among everything else in this episode he wanted to use the phrase and have it it be on par with exterminate.
Personally I agree that sometimes people use words willy nilly, but sometimes there's only so much a person can do. Even in situations where no one knows how they can help. Yet I've seen people help and then offer Thoughts and Prayers as reassurance to let someone know that they care for their well being.
(I only mentioned this because it's surprising how they want to take good things and associate them with evil. Just so the writers could feel superior over people who believe in such things. It also kinda sticks I have limited amount of characters so I couldn't explain the full joke.)

I find it amusing that they explain the ambulance’s behavior in the episode is caused by capitalism, yet the medical systems that most resemble the ambulance’s behavior are the British healthcare system and Canadian healthcare system, which are public healthcare systems.

All of the lines/dialog in movie trailers these days are basically fortune cookie fortunes. Except dumber.
The people who made the episode were trying to chastise people for believing in an "invisible god", they themselves believe in an invisible audience.
They are of the "faith" that their message will catch on.

@chrimsonphantom Actually, the mythical audience isn't watching either. Dr Who's own mother won't watch it. Rumor has it that Dr Who won't even watch it.
@@likeluptid its kinda sad actually. Kids these days don't have any media that's their's that's not rehashed or garbage. Making them rely on tic tok, that's just shortening their attention span. Also which doctor doesn't watch doctor who anymore. Because they have my respect. (I get that you were joking but I wonder if there is a doctor that refuses to watch any of the new episodes.
