I purchased the spray paint and gray paint that I used at Lowes, but really, any white or gray paint will do. The final coat is Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in French Linen, that I already had. No need to go to the expense of purchasing chalk paint though - any taupe color of paint (even those small bottles of craft paint) will work too. Just make sure that whatever paint you use is a satin or flat finish - not a gloss finish. The glue that I used came from Lowes as well. All of the beads came and the jewelry wire came from Michael's. You can see the finished product in this blog post: www.worthingcourtblog.com/diy-chandelier-makeover/ . Hope this helps!
Sorry, I'm just now seeing your comment! The beads all came from Michaels and the paints came from various places. You can see the finished product and how it looks in my room in this blog post: www.worthingcourtblog.com/diy-chandelier-makeover/
