      @Tia Nelson- nothing is wrong am currently 17 weeks and I feel the flutters every now and then aswell but according to research and from speaking to other mothers, you will mostly feel the baby between 19 to 20 weeks.
      Am a first time mum aswell, I thought something was wrong but no, just wait some more weeks and you will start to feel it constantly.

  • @sofiabent9129
    @sofiabent9129 Před 5 lety +23

    This is my 2nd successful pregnancy and my due date is March 10. This one is just as easy and enjoyable as the previous pregnancy. This time I only had nausea from week 6-10. I have a posterior placenta so I started feeling the flutters very early (9/10 weeks). This one kicks above my belly button already. It's not gas I can definitely tell it's little kicks and jabs and I can usually tell exactly where the baby is located by its movements/weight. At my 16 week check up one of my OB doctors told me I don't need to eat much because my baby is the size of a peanut which isn't true. Sure the not needing to eat much is true but the baby size isn't. She probably was speaking relative terms but still that's way off. My baby is much bigger than a peanut. Woman doctors are so odd.... Every OB woman doctor I've ever dealt with was either odd or rather annoying. Don't know why. With my 1st baby the woman doctor asked if I planned to have pain meds and I said I hadn't decided yet and that I had a high pain tolerance. She kinda rolled her eyes and with a glum look on her face she snubbed my comment by saying "its gonna be the worst pain you've ever had in your life you'll want meds"... I wasn't rude but my exact thoughts were "wow thanks a lot lady" lol. I'd rather find out later than me scared ahead of time. Jeez. So far I like my man OB doctor a lot but he seems to be busier than the others which bothers me cuz I have a feeling he won't be available when I have this baby. I'd hate to get stuck with one of those woman doctors they just annoy the hell out of me. They dont listen to me, they disregard my experience and treat me like I don't know my body even though I do better than them. Everything she told me I already knew. It's like yea yea blah blah let me go home. So far the man OB doctor is very kind, positive, listens, happily answers my questions and doesn't annoy me. Wish all doctors were like that.

    I'm 16 weeks with my second child and I have absolutely no baby bump. It happened the same with my first, which is 5 years old. But now my son doesnt believe me anymore when I tell him I'm expecting a baby as my belly never grows and two of his colleagues will also have little siblings and their mom's are getting huge even in the same pregnancy time. So I'm getting him next week to my doctors appointment together with my husband so that he can see the baby for himself. Lol During my first pregnancy almost none could see I was pregnant before 30 weeks. I'm 1.74m and 60kg.

    My wife is 16 weeks pregnant and she observed two to three drops of blood spots. She had undergone ultrasound two days back and everything seemed normal. We do not understand what is the cause of spotting? our gynac. she is not confidently telling us the reason for spotting and requested to take one-week bed rest. What to do now Doctor? is it recommended to go for a second opinion? or conduct a cervical examination?

    • @TiaJoy1372
      @TiaJoy1372 Před 2 lety +3

      Hey how are you? Spotting is completely normal, this can occur up to 20 weeks of pregnancy. Vaginal bleeding is sometimes caused from sexual intimacy and or hormone changes. May God bless your little one to be healthy and strong in Jesus Christ mighty name of Nazareth Hallelujah Amen 😊💛🙌🏾 ( nothing wrong with a second opinion)
