step two : the symbols you found on the sliders - triangle , square , pentagon ,... : there are also symbols on the Bottom of the stairs after flipping them -( I think they are a hint for solving ) which Look like puzzle Parts ( most of them have a dot or more) - there are many of them all over the tower and if you combine them correct you can bild a Triangle , a Square a pentagon and the Ellipse - t so for example when you build the pentagon ( with the symbol on the left side of the staircase and the one on top of the Tower ) you have the pentagon with 3 small dots/ circles around - now look where the pentagon on the tower is - go 3 steps to the left in the line above and you have the right symbol for the slider ..

Most people miss the START written on the top dial.
I figured out the SOLUTION to step 2: sliders) The jigsaw pieces are important, They hint at this in the "bottom steps" that swivel out. (I didn't discover it until after I solved the whole puzzle)
We have the shapes Ellipse, Triangle, Square & Pentagon. Now you just need to find the printed "jigsaw" pieces scattered over the Tower and put them together. The odd shapes that have little circular pips around them.
Each shape is broken into 2 pieces, and when "put together" the pips will give you the number of spaces you need to count starting from the Jackal (related to the shape of course) That will give you the correct symbol for each slider!
