  • Thinking about adding traction loss to your rig but cannot decide? This video can help you see the kind of immersion you get with TL. Throughout the video, a car bumped into me and made me slide sideways which I completely felt and it was awesome!

    Looking good. i would have to mount the screens onto the rig and add surge, as i couldn't go back now. For those that ate unsure, Surge not only gives declaration and acceleration but will also show impacts with the barriers and when my rig was like this one i was hit from behind on Spar and endded up with the steering wheel behind the screen 😮 thank goodness for the emergency stop Also surge has make the rig more noisy with the constant little for and aft movements and slightly loose rose joints. It doesn't show on the traction loss as it moves differently.
    Looking forward for more videos

    The seat movement looks way more in tune with the rig movement. Coming along nicely. Surge seems dialed back. I have a SFX 150mm on the way and purchased the TL kit form E-Racing. I am building my own belt tensioner for shoulder and waist belts and will probably skip Surge if the tensioner works well. Do you find the Surge is worth the effort and expense? Great job.

      definitely - Surge is great and adds a lot of immersion.

    On the traction loss kit did they include a lower base to swing your rig? Did you have to buy anything beyond the initial mega+ kit, cockpit, and pc? For example, mounting hardware, base plate, or case for the simulator titan electronics. Was surge worth it? Videos of surge looks like it moves your seat toward the pedals and doesn’t always look fun for racing unless really turned down low.

      I have a video on here on what you need to buy and what you get from eracing lab in details. But yea you will need to get all the profiles, nuts, bolts, case…surge is great and does add to the immersion.

    How are you enjoying it? Should i do it? I have the actuators only. They keep moving so I’m thinking to upgrade.

    Hi, are these actuators too noisy ?

    • @simul8master
      @simul8master  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Not at all. I am making a new video testing the setup with flight simulator which has a lot more movement and you can hear it for yourself. Should be up by tomorrow.

      I’ve heard the drivers that connect to it makes buzzing noise, I’m not sure if it’s the old models thoughts.

    • @simul8master
      @simul8master  Před 4 měsíci

      @@evanphotography5149 that for sure is there. You can hear it only when you are not playing and the pc is off. To get rid of it, you will need to unplug the usb cable connected to the controller when you are not playing if this bothers you. This is normal though. It is a very faint 16khz high pitch tone.
