Mini The Lamb Drinking Milk

- Mini is an orphaned lamb who we are looking after for about a month.
Once he learns how to eat grass and is big and strong enough not to be eaten by foxes he'll go back to my uncle's farm :-)
And no, he's not going to be eaten!
The one I got to take care of was pitch black. He had the biggest, cutest eyes I've ever seen, and he absolutely LOVED the attention. Even when he was completely off of milk, he would still come over and cuddle with you.
How precious like a little baby angel. He must be so huggable and soft. He looks like he is a sweet little lamb.

Mini is a cute little baby lamb. Kinda reminds me of my dog, Pampers. Probably very huggable.

My next door neighbor had a runt lamb back about 20 years ago. My brother, our mom and I had to help take care of it for a day and little May made similar noises when we had to bottle-feed her. Cutest thing ever. XD
That lamb drinks the milk so eagerly, and judging by how they wag their tails while drinking, that milk must taste so good to them to make them that happy. Lambs and sheep are smart, but also very simple animals who get simple pleasures from drinking milk, running around fields, enjoying the outdoors, and eating grass (which tastes as good to them as a good steak or pizza would taste to us)
...i luv to hear the sounds how the lamb feeds the bottle...to me the sounds are sooo soothing & definitely makes me happier. thanks to the uploader.
I LOVE how he "purrs" like a kitten afterwards!!!!! He looks just like the lamb featured in the vintage child's book "The Little Lamb."

I went to Ireland when I was about 10 and the owner of the caravan park had a baby lamb and I would run to feed her on a mornings and even asked the feeding times lol

When I was very young one of my Dad's sheep had twins, a white one and a black one. She shunned the black one and I got to raise it in my Grandmother's kitchen. Happy memories.

Ive never understood Mammals eating Mammals. I get wild life and the need to feed but what the hell have we been given a brain for? We do it for sport and because frankly we can. We can't live green ,we can't give up eating Mammals and we can't give up killing everything in sight. Balance is a joke. The last laugh will be on us,"The human race!"

I am very proudvof you. see the milk you fed is not sufficient. it depends upon its weight. one vet may be consulted to feed the right proportion of milk or it would be a cruelty to starve the baby. Emma Polglase Yes. You just need to snip the teet to make the hole bigger so the milk flows faster. :-)
So basicaly if you want to have a sheep for a pet, do the adopt-a-sheep thing and trade them in at a farm so you always have baby sheep :)

Judging by the thumbnail pic, I wanted to say a "Babydoll" lamb, but now I'm guessing either a Merino or Romney (which typically has black nose). I loved how he literally PURRED like a kitten towards the end!!!!!!!!
