  • We continue our campground review series in Banff National Park by discovering the best secluded campground for large RVs we've ever seen in the Rockies. Normally if you have a large recreational vehicle finding campgrounds to accommodate it isn't always easy. The Silverhorn Campground makes this problem non existent! This 45 site campground is basically all paved with huge lots with a single picnic table & firepit. That's about all you can find there as power, water & sewage will have to be done somewhere else, this campground gives you some of the most insane views in the Rockies straight from your camper door!
The campground sites are all reserved online so guaranteeing a spot is alot easier. Check out Parks Canada website (reservation.pc.gc.ca) to reserve your spot and come enjoy Banff National Park with the largest RV you can find!

Gorgeous views. What campsite number was close to the pond with the red chairs?

At the 2:00 marker you can see the map, sites 17 to 21 are close to the little lookout marked as a brown circle near the lake.

I booked this for late June based your video. Was planning to stay at Waterfowl, but this took reservations which eases the stress. The views while camped seemed nicer than the treed, shady, private sites at Waterfowl.

@@chrisnewel4732 having a reserved spot is always good to keep your mind at ease. You can also scout out campsites that are first come, first serve further north later while you're there and move.
