Jasper is unbelievably beautiful but the campgrounds are terrible unless you're in a motorhome. I just spent a couple days up there and the bugs are NUTS, the campsites have zero shade, its overpriced, the showers are absolutely disgusting. Then again, it has a lot of traffic coming through. I doubt the staff can keep up.
Camping definitely seems to be in short supply up there, at least when it comes to dispersed.
