    I love this chick. Had a blast editing this one and was worried I'd go over 30 minutes. If I ever do go over 30 minutes, I'll have to break the video in half to save time, but we kept it just under, so I'm happy.
    Valkyrie is a blast to play and I hope you enjoy this video dedicated to her.
    Please comment and leave a thumbs up if you enjoyed, and consider subscribing if you're interested in more content.

    The harpooned execution the stab to the neck warden was dying slowly so the neck break was somewhat an act of mercy because Valkyrie didn’t let him die a slow death.

    I have to say, of the two executions that reference Vlad The Impaler, I think Lawbringer definitely has the better one, because his actually has the opponent being lifted into the air and sliding down the weapon, which is historically how impalement worked as an execution technique.

    Spear Fishing had some of the best sounds in any execution in my opinion. At the end you can hear the spear snapping the spinal cord when she plunged it into his throat

    As a valk main she has a great defensive kit but is lacking offensively. Playing valk you have to be creative with your mix ups while keeping your stamina in mind. It can be challenging using valk against high level players especially when they are using better characters. She is extremely fun to play but getting your damage off can be a tough task. I find the most success using her as a counter attacker, mixing up your defense to open up your offense. Love this character!

    The 'Get The Horns' execution i use which matches perfectly with the pointy dragon horns ornament. U use it mostly against enemies without helmets

    In Norse mythology there is actually two halls the battle slain go to the first is Valhalla which odin rules then the second hall I forgot the name of but it is ruled by Freya. It is said that Freya is the queen of the Valkyries some even say Freya was a Valkyrie herself.

    I just want to say helheim isn’t ever stated to be a bad place that would be nastrond hel the ruler of helheim is sometimes even said to be a maternal figure to the dead

      Accounts of Helheim are very inconsistent. Sometimes it’s a hellish place of suffering, sometimes it’s just a home for the dishonored dead. Depends on who you talk to.

      @@jaegercat6702 Many versions I've heard are ones where it's actually BOTH. These versions paint Hel, instead of literally having two faces, as having something akin to multiple personality disorder. If you went to Helheim because you died by accident, you were murdered, you died of sickness, or of old age, Hel is very kind and motherly towards you, and you live a life very similar to the one you lived when you were alive. But if you were sent to Helheim because you were, for example, executed as a condemned criminal, Hel shows you absolutely ZERO mercy whatsoever, and forces you to relive every single sin you ever committed when you were alive, all while experiencing the pain you caused to others as a result of these sins as your own.

      A solid 9/10. If they'd kept it the same, a solid 9/10 at least. It's hilarious. It's a solid move, and while it MIGHT not kill, the fact Ubisoft could have had a HILARIOUS execution would have made it worth it.

    Warlords heavies do insane damage. As my main I'm trying not to be defensive but he's just not that bad. Full guard is meant to surprise enemies with the unblockable light. Its not meant to be held. He's more offensive than you're giving him credit for.

    • @RavenKnightYT
      @RavenKnightYT  Před 2 lety +1

      I’ve found there are three ways to play warlord: light spam, turtle, or ledge.
      Light spammers rely on throwing lights, zones, and headbutts consistently because their fast and hard to react to. It’s effective, but drains stamina and is very annoying.
      Ledgers is just what the name suggests. They hybernate around ledges and go for guard breaks and charges.
      Turtles are entirely reactionaries. They take advantage of hyperarmor, hide behind shields and let revenge build. They drop into all guard mostly to counter attacks and then to do the light or side heavy. They also specialize in crushing counters, but all of which depend on a defensive play style.
      I’m sure you’ve found your own method of playing him and using him effectively. I’m not denying that, and I admit I was hard on warlord. But as a general rule, warlords main meta build is to be defensive and turtle up. I’ve talked with other warlord mains who agree that they mostly use warlord to contest a zone until back up arrives because warlords are such good turtles.

      @briankamp1584 Před 2 lety +1

      @@RavenKnightYT that's fair. I tend to fall into the reactionary category but as a point of pride I use headbutt sparingly. The hyper armor is a large reason as to why I'm successful but I definitely see your point.

    • @RavenKnightYT
      @RavenKnightYT  Před 2 lety +1

      @@briankamp1584 back when I made that video, I had a very low opinion of warlord because he didn’t match my play style. I’m more of an aggressive player than a reaction or defense based. So I was overly harsh. I admit he’s far more viable than I described in the video, so you’re not wrong. I appreciate your fairness in your criticism. I get things wrong. So thanks for keeping me honest. :)

    So, Helheim is actually a firey wasteland and Nifelheim (the realm thay Hel rules over) is the lsnd of people who didn’t die in battle and it is actually split into multiple sections, some way worse than others (the sea of corpses etc.)
